Although I'm using Bookmark It's logo, and both Moriah and I work there, this is not (yet) an official Bookmark It group. All missteps, mistakes, misreports are mine (and since I made Moriah an administrator, her's too!)
So, I hope you'll join me (us). Invite your local friends, and let's start promoting these award-winning books. I mean, who knew there were so many?!?!

Thanks.

One is a Civil War and Old West trilogy titled Devil Her Due in which the main female character is a surgeon for the Confederacy (yes there were a few female physicians in that era.) The two main male characters are in Stuart's cavalry.
The second is a modern contemporary romance, titled Embers in the Heart, in which the characters are the descendants of those in the Civil War era novel. This story revolves around the PTSD of the main male character, a former Marine Corps officer, who served in Iraq and Afghanistan. This and the previous novel are part of what I hope will eventually be a US History series.
The other novel is part of an intended series, The Silver Chronicles, that is a collection of romances that feature heroes and heroines that are over 50 years old. The first novel due out this November is titled, We Will Ne'er Be Younger. It is a second chance romance between a recently divorced Marine Colonel and a retired school teacher from Florida.
Glad to be part of a local group of central Florida authors and residents.

I have samples of two of the books in the creative writing section at

I look forward to reading both. I enjoy Civil War stories.
