SOLVED. Mystery book set in England about a teacher whose student goes missing, her brother disappeared years before. [s]

It is set in England, the main character is a teacher in her early 20s who lives at home with her alcoholic mother. Her brother went missing under suspicious circumstances while she was a child. One of her students, a young girl goes missing and the teacher finds her body while out running. After that I get a bit lost, (view spoiler)[there is some issue with a male neighbour, possibly something to do with child pornography and the young student was mixed up in it. She thinks she is in a relationship with him and falls pregnant but he is using her and filming their sexual encounters. I think the teacher find out her parents (father mostly) killed her because she fell pregnant and while confronting them ends up in real danger (hide spoiler)] The teacher develops some sort of relationship with an investigating officer in the murder case and he has something to do with finding her brother. Sorry about the disjointed summary, it's been a number of years since I read it but any ideas would be appreciated.

It was about 5/6 years ago, as far as I know it was stand alone however I couldn't say that for certain.
