Hello! My name is Erica and I'm 38. I joined this group after seeing a plug in Our Shared Shelf. Here's a little about me:Your country?
United States. I live in a southern state along the Gulf Coast called Louisiana, not far from New Orleans.
Languages known?
English. I've dabbled in Spanish and Mandarin, and would love to know a thousand languages, but I'm only fluent in English.
Hobbies?
Eclectic. Reading and writing. I enjoy watching sports. I used to play soccer, but that was a lifetime ago. Photography. In school I studied networking, anthropology, sociology, and I've had a career in law enforcement.
Favorite books?
There are a lot I enjoy. My favorite genres are scifi/fantasy, thrillers, classics, and nonfiction. I'm currently in the middle of reading the Harry Potter, Dresden Files, and Indiana Jones series.
What are you looking for in a pen-pal?
I'd like to correspond with someone living in a place I've never been. So, someone outside of North America. I don't care if your English isn't perfect. Prefer another woman.
