July 2015 - Reporting Thread

I read and discussed for this month's read. I enjoyed this book and gave it 3 stars. I plan on reading the sequel.

I have a question. The rules state that you have to have read the book on or before July. Does that just apply to the BOM books? Or is that any book? I'm guessing that you had to designate it as applying to the challenge first, but I just wanted to clarify. I didn't finish my beautiful cover book in July, but I did read one in June. I did not read it specifically for the challenge, just loved the cover.

Because the group reads are about the discussion, you may have read the book prior to the month. This is different from the challenges and topplers in that they require the book to be read during a specific time frame.

In order to count the book you read in June, you would have needed to discuss it in July.

Oh! I understand. I didn't think it would count because it wasn't a chosen BOM. Good to know for the future though. Thanks!
