The writing is so smart is anyone else into these

I have just gotten into these audio books. I am really loving the smart writing and the fact that Mary Russell is such an intelligent woman and an equal of sorts to Sherlock Holmes. You know how musicans are sexy if they are talented even if they are not the least bit good looking. Sherlock Holmes is kinda sexy to me in these books and I can actually see how a brilliant independant twenty something might be into him. I am very impressed with the reparte' and the research Laurie R. King has put into these books and am excited to continue the series.

There's a very devoted fan following of the Mary Russell series. I love the series too! I tore through the whole series in 14 days. My family thought I went insane.
