Alyssa (alyssasulsberger) | 6 comments Wow what a great book! Extremely impressed with the world and characters Brandon Sanderson built here. I listened to the second half of the book and that definitely added to my overall enjoyment of the story.

Everyone talks about Kaladin, and while I do love his character Dalinar is quickly becoming my favorite perspective to read from. In a book this big it's really refreshing to have multiple perspectives to read from. I was uncertain how these characters were going to intertwine for the first half of the book but now we are starting to see how they are connected.

After finishing this book (and never having read ANY Brandon Sanderson before #YearOfCosmere) I'm starting to have ideas about how to Cosmere is woven together through his books.

This was my first Sanderson book too Alyssa. I loved it a lot. I'm one of the Kaladin lovers but I also love Dalinar too. They are both such strong characters and heroic in so many ways:-)

Elad Bannett | 11 comments I finished the book for the third time and it's still awesome! I think my favorite character is Wit/Hoid. He's really smart and he makes sure everyone knows it. He has a lot of funny scenes, but his serious scenes are where his true personality shines through and we see just how wise he is.
See you all at Words of Radiance!

Sophie | 55 comments Woo! Kaladin! Though I do also love Dalinar. In fact I loved every single one of the main crew (the ones with POVs) as well as Wit/Hoid. I really enjoyed Szeth's few chapters as well, his character is so fascinating. I gave this book 5/5 stars and I'm very excited to read Words of Radiance soon.

Raquel V (raquelvcc) | 33 comments This book was so dense, but soooo great! Part 4 was my favorite, but in truth it just got better and better. With Kaladin and Delinar finally meeting and forging an aliance, and Shalan on her way to the Shattered Plains, I bet Words of Radiance will be just amazing! I think I would have had a harder time with this book it it were my first Sanderson, and I didn't trust him quite so much - because let's be honest, it takes him quite a while to get to the point in this one! But I've heard The Stormlight Archives is a 10 book series, that will be done in two parts, so I guess it's understamdable that he has to build a strong foundation for that!

Sophie | 55 comments I just finished reading this book for the second time (excited preparation for Oathbringer - woo!) and loved it even more this time around. I can't believe it's been 2 years since #YearOfCosmere. I remember it like it was yesterday :') haha, though seriously thanks again everyone for introducing me to Brandon Sanderson. I had a great time reading so much from one author in one year and since 2015 I've read even more Sanderson books and loved them all.

I noticed a lot more things this time around but know there is still so much I'm missing. Reading different wikipedia pages and learning more about how the Cosmere works and how Sanderson's books weave together is fascinating. I learnt a lot from this one about shards in particular (spoilers for lots of Sanderson books including the Mistborn series, proceed with caution!): https://coppermind.net/wiki/Shard
