I'm Allie in Austin, TX (another one!). I'm a full-time volunteer and teach middle school board gaming electives. I love to read, walk the greenbelts with my Australian Shepherd, play games, and binge watch great tv shows. I'm vegan but live with omnivores (husband of 19 years and son of almost 14 years).

The last couple of years I was in 6 monthly books clubs, but my schedule has changed and none of them are really working out anymore except the graphic novel book club through my local comic store (LOVE it), so I'm excited to try an online club (I'm in the FB group too).

I read a lot of YA these days (see above about the 14 year old) but enjoy pretty much every genre, though I don't do a lot of nonfiction anymore (I used to be nuts for parenting books!) unless they are memoirs/biographies or war/soldier stories. Lit Fic has always been a favorite, but I will happily do mysteries and other genre fiction too. And I love classics. One of my favorite things about book clubs is trying new books I wouldn't otherwise try.

I listen to audiobooks ALL THE TIME while I walk, commute, clean up the house. I also am nearly always doing a book with my 14 year old, either listening to it together on audio or reading one at the same time (often both).

Hey y'all!!

I'm Becky and from MN. I work in digital marketing and am also an MBA student. Both endeavors keep me extremely busy, so I hope to participate as often as I can, but I know I won't be able to get to every book. I also just went to this MASSIVE sale here and purchased about 30 books. I may have a problem. :)

I read a variety of genres, but I typically gravitate toward mysteries and general fiction. I'm trying to read more classics as well. I also read a lot of nonfiction and often read them as audiobooks on my extremely long drives home.

Besides reading, I love music/concerts, coffee, cooking, snail mail, my Filofax, dance (tap, jazz, hip hop), autumn-themed stuff, and eating healthy.

I am super excited to get started with this group! It's great to find people who love books as much as I do. :)

Hello Everyone!

I'm Michelle, I discovered this book club through a fellow members Etsy sticker shop and was "OH! What the NovelTea book club?" and I googled and it brought me here to you lovely ladies.

I have a pretty boring accounting job so I read to escape. I mostly read Fantasy, Sci-Fi and Romance but really try and read all genres. Oh, I also love comics.

I'm also one of the moderators over at the International Geek Girl Pen Pals Club (IGGPPC) bookclub, IggleBookWorms.

Hey everyone!

I'm Jhankar, a 25 year old lawyer from India. I don't know if you've members from other continents on here. If not, then maybe I could be the first?

I've loved to read for as long as I can remember. My parents tell me that I would pick up comics and make up stories even before I could read.

I'm easily bored and do not have any set hobbies. Reading is probably the only constant habit I've had. Other than that, I do love to dance and have TV show marathons (my favourites being Friends, The Big Bang Theory, Modern Family and Game of Thrones).

There isn't any specific genre that I'm partial towards but I cannot hear a word against the Harry Potter and the Lord of the Ring series. I'm currently obsessing over The Song of Ice and Fire, waiting for the next book to come out.

Lastly, I'm new to Goodreads and still working my way around this app. Also, I've never been a part of any book club. Came upon your group while I was randomly searching for a decent club that I could join.

That's about it, I guess. Look forward to reading with you lovely people. :)

Hi everyone!

My name is Lynda. I work for a major healthcare company and conduct research and evaluations to determine the effectiveness of the programs our company provides to communities (community benefit). I am from Los Angeles, California.

I stumbled upon this group while exploring the message boards for The Night Circus. I looked through the page and saw that I had read many of the books discussed here! I can't wait to be part of this!

When I'm not working, I love to watch movies and shows (e.g., Game of Thrones, Homeland, New Girl, Scandal, etc.) at home while drinking wine and eating cheese with my husband. I also love to do the Bar Method (a workout), play with my cat and dog, and travel. I just started getting back into reading (after being forced to read textbooks for the majority of my life) and I try to make time for it whenever possible.

My favorite genres are fiction, historical fiction, mystery/thriller, fantasy, and young adult. I'm not into memoirs or romance.

I'm excited to join this group! =)

HI all! I have been a member of this group for about 6 months but I am challenging myself to get more involved in communities this year.

I am a ticketing analyst for a major Orlando theme park, but I love to read in my spare time. Which I don't have a whole lot of because I also make youtube videos. I am still trying to figure out a way to incorporate books into my videos. Also do a lot on my Instagram!

My favorite genres are YA, mysteries/ thrillers/ sci fi/ and chiclit. I will try to read anything once but if it does not move quickly I get bored.

Can't wait for the awesome discussions we have!
