The Bone Tree counts for about three books, LOL. I think we all had to follow up with lighter fare...

Good month Sherry! I am glad we read The Bone Tree together and discussed it! as for reading somewhat lighter fare after it, we did indeed, maybe we are still reading to cleanse the palate just a bit, though the book was still good, just depressing. :)

i am too, ann. i struggled with it at the beginning- way too much information- and only kept reading because of that reason. i'm glad that i did stick with it.

Speaking as someone who rarely reads non-genre contemporary fiction, this is an unusual and inspiring book.
