The time Niko spent warming up passed quickly, but the time spent fighting wasn't even worth mentioning. He had the guys on his knees in a matter of minutes, and his spear at his throat in a matter of seconds. "That was nice practice." He noted with a grin before extending a hand to help his brother up. The guy had his eyes downcast in a look of almost shame, and if he knew hot to fight dirty he would've pulled Niko down beside him and landed in a few more punches. Instead of gaining back some meager token of respect he just took the hand before brushing himself off.
"Now let's go to breakfast." He said, doing a small fist pump in the air before he fell behind the Ares kids in their walk towards the Pavilion. Briefly he looked over his shoulder to see if that Claire girl was till there, but it seemed as if she'd dissapeared. Shrugging he walked up the stairs before making himself comfortable at the table.
Don't even talk to him about practice today. Of course, Niko had him on the ground in minutes and the spear to his throat. He could have kicked him in the legs and pulled the spear away but he didn't want to fight dirty. Not today at least. As he said that it was nice practice, Darren let out a cold laugh. "Oh don't flatter me," he said with an eyebrow raised with a peculiar grin forming. The thought to pull him down had crossed his mind but he instead just took it as a sign of respect and stood up. Darren nodded at him, "After I eat, I might want to fight a little more." Darren smirked at him and held back with Niko and walked into the Pavilion with him and he slid over on the opposite side. "Saw you talking to the Aphrodite chick," he noted as he started to tug at his gloves and pull them on straighter, his eyes glancing up at Niko.
((Ah so we made it Darren that challenged him to a fight XD))
Niko shot his brother a look. "Okay, okay, you did a nice job playing the part of a punching bag. If that's what you were going for it was a spot on impression man." He told him while swinging his arm around his shoulders to shake him slightly. Leaning back down he reached for the daggers he had gathered from the Armory room. He'd just return them later. Besides food topped the list of his priorities. Briefly he rose his eyebrow in his direction at the time they got inside. "Will the food give you the energy you need to last more than three minutes?" Setting his spear against the wall beside him he rubbed at his slightly raw hands. Maybe he should invest in gloves just like Darren. "Oh, you did, did you? Next time instead of spying on me you should get in some practice. But anyways, she's definitely into me." Even though Niko had made no attempts to flirt with her he couldn't stop the arrogant comment from leaving his mouth.

((Indeed. He is thinking he is getting better but he is not as good as Niko. XD Maybe during the quest he could get a lot better at fighting.))
Darren smirked at him as he said this, silently amused with his smartass comment. "Yes," he replied sarcastically, "That was exactly the look I was going for. I have been practicing it all week!" His face had turned into a ghostly smile as his brother shook him lightly. Darren laughed at his comment as they entered the dinning pavilion. "Five minutes Niko, get it right!" He shot back with a grin. He placed his sword against the wall and he saw one of the Hermes kid's eyeing it. He shot a look in his direction, a warning that he would get him real good if he dared touch it. You had to admit, it was a really nice sword. It was silver with a ruby near the bottom. According to Tony, the Hephaestus boy that made it, he told him that it would enhance his powers if he focused hard enough. Well, guess it was still no match for his brother. Darren chuckled, "Yes I did. It wouldn't be hard to miss with the two of you yelling. How I am supposed to practice with a good show?" He paused for a moment before snickering. "Didn't look like it to me," he said as glanced over at the food table.
((Yesss ^^))
"All week?" Niko whistled softly as if he was impressed. "With how well you did I would've assumed it had taken months to prefect that pose. Such dedication." He noted this with a small smirk before rolling his eyes at the correction. "Time must've passed faster for me due to how much fun I was having." Seeing the look he gave to the Hermes kid he laughed softly under his breath wondering if he'd even be able to take that kid in a fight. Actually thinking about it he probably could. Ares children were practically designed to win, unless of course they put forth no effort or minimal effort in training. "We weren't yelling." Were they? "We were just whispering very loudly." He told him before following his gaze over towards the table piled with food. "Well, we didn't come here to gossip about girls." He told him before getting back on his feet and getting in line behind the rest of his cabin.
Darren smirked at him as he said this, "Oh yes. It took me forever to perfect the punching bag pose. I am sure dad would be proud." He immediately regretted saying though, cringing slightly at the word dad. His father made him sick. How could he leave like that? How could he break his mother's heart? How could he be such an ass? If only he could get back at him. If only he could get his hands around his neck and choke him. He snapped out of his thoughts when Niko spoke again. He was in fact so lost in them that he hadn't even noticed his eye roll. Darren shrugged at this. "True," he said. Darren heard his laugh and narrowed his eyebrows at him. "Comments?" He asked him with thick sarcasm in his voice. Darren chuckled at his comment. "Oh, 'Have fun with those weapons, princess.' That was loud enough for me to hear," he said as he started to stand up. He led the way and was in front of Niko in the line. He looked back at him with another chuckle. "Of course. Just thought I would ask you what the yelling was about," he said with a smirk as he grabbed a plate and handed it to him before grabbing one for himself.
"So proud." Niko finished with a short laugh before seeing his brother's reaction to saying dad. That was one of the things he was careful to not mention around Darren as they seemed to hold quite the opposite opinion about the man. Personally he was quite proud to be the son of a warrior god, especially after the first seven years of his pitiful existence. "Comments or ridicule?" He asked with a raised eyebrow a bit confused on his question, did he want tips on how to do a better job next time? Hearing him he smirked. "Well now she'll definitely be thinking of me." Taking the plate he leaned back against the wall and crossed an arm over his chest as he waited for the slow moving line to continue forwards. "I was just wondering why an Aphrodite child was in the Armory room. That's all." Niko stated simply.
Darren flipped his hand a bit, a gesture to say forget about it. "Never mind.," he told his brother. Darren couldn't help but laugh at his next comment. "Oh, I am sure she will." As he said this, he watched a girl walk in, she looked familiar but then it hit him. "I am sure she is trying to forget though," he said teasingly as he glanced back at him. "Well obviously looking for a weapon," he said with a quick sarcastic eye roll. But his smirk showed he wasn't serious. Through their conversation, he pointed over at someone. "Isn't that the girl?" Darren couldn't help but want to laugh when he saw her look over and her eyes widened before she looked down and tried to hide in between her siblings. "She recognizes you from what it looks like."
"She will." He said, protesting against his teasing tone. Finally they managed to make it near some food and Niko's hunger began to make itself present. Turning towards the food he began to pile his plate up with eggs and toast as well as some fruit from the salad. He only turned his attention away from his breakfast when Darren pointed over toward some girl. He laughed softly when she seemed to hide behind some of her sisters. "That's her." He confirmed, already had trouble recalling her name, but it didn't seem like it mattered. "See, I make an everlasting impression." He said with a fake grin before he finished piling up his plate and returned to the table with a glass of milk as well.
((Should we discuss the quest with the other two people in the chat thread or something??))
