Jess | 55 comments I'm loving this book (I'm about halfway through). It's witty and alternately self-aggrandizing and self-deprecating, and I relate so whole heartedly to the feeling that motivates the book - wondering when you became someone who says they read as opposed to someone who actually reads. After a literature degree, many years in retail, and graduate school, I realized I was reading something like 1-3 books *a year* for pleasure, and needed to reclaim that part of myself. So I feel really connected to the journey of this writer/reader/book.

Andy has the List of Betterment.

I have the 2015 Reading Challenge.

Unlike Andy, I have not decided to read all the classics and Great Books, but I'm more and more inspired by this book to move in that direction.

At the very least, Andy, I'll give Anna Karenina a shot.
