Chapter 1
(view spoiler)[I started reading this later than expected, but as long as I actually read it :D This was one hell of an introduction to a book, and it was nothing like I expected. I've always been fascinated by Egyptian mythology and I'm really curious to see where this story will go. So far I really like Sadie's character, while I'm on the fence about Carter. The father is a perfectly eccentric man who seems overcome by guilt. I'm assuming that their mothers death has something to do with Carter's dad's line of work, but I guess we'll find out in the later chapters. (hide spoiler)]
