I was looking at the class schedule and its a bit confuzing can someone explain

So, classes will officially start July 7th, and at certain times of day (Eastern U.S Time) there will be certain classes your character can attend.

Hi! So I have a question. I was looking over the class schedule and stuff. So in real life, I have like summer classes and stuff which would conflict with some of the classes at the Academy. Should I be super concerned with my character missing class sometimes or just being that silent kid in class that just "observes" ???
Maybe we could have an introduction thread for the members :)
Question: Given that I live in the neglected corner of the Earth, I was a bit confused to see the class schedules...the time zone is set in the US Time Zone right? And we're supposed to convert it? Okay, that's fine but what if my roleplay partner has class but my character doesn't (just an example)? Does this mean during that moment we can't roleplay or what?

Ah! I don't think it's a stupid question! I'm really confused by the schedule too!
And I converted some of the classes in my time, but its during night time (over here) when I will be sleeping and I won't be on so does that mean I will be "missing" these classes?

Yeah, the time schedule for the classes REALLY isn't working out, so I think I'm going to change it to there being no specific time schedule thingamajig, and the schedule will be just for show and people can ask to rp in the classrooms, etc. I think that would be for the best, since there are so many different time zones and stuffs. Plus, people would have to be on goodreads like waaaay too much, etc etc.

Oh, sorry - nah, I think that would be too many topics, and besides, people don't post all that much in the dorms at the moment anyway, so there will just be one and when the rp is over, say so, and when a new one is started say what dorm it is in.

True, but at least at the moment there havent been multiple dorms wanting to rp at the same time, so I hardly see the need...
So are Fire elementals(for first year) in the class with Water or Electric or both? And do we get schedules? Cause I think that would help. Just an idea.
