((Past tense please!))
Lucienne walked onto the training grounds. "Mael! Mael, stop!" she called out to him. She didn't want him to exhaust himself, training so hard. But it always hurt her slightly to see him. He looked so much like his father.

((It's okay!))
"Mael! I know you can hear me!" Lucienne yelled, walking up to her son and glancing at his weapon. "Mael, stop! You've been practicing for too long!"
"Mael! I know you can hear me!" Lucienne yelled, walking up to her son and glancing at his weapon. "Mael, stop! You've been practicing for too long!"
"That's wrong! And don't use that tone on me, Mael Xanthe! You'll tire yourself out, and I don't want that to happen!" she exclaimed, frowning. "You're a growing boy, you need your rest!"
"Of course I know about your rest! I know that it's something you need! You look so tired and worn out! Come on inside, have something to eat. Everyone wants to see you, and I've started planning the list of guests for the next ball." Lucienne said. She sounded truly concerned for her son, and she was.
"Of course not!" Lucienne snapped, face going red. "I'm just trying to distract you from that piece of wood you think needs to be beaten up so roughly!"
Lucienne growled. "Stop it, already!" she shrieked. "Beating up that piece of wood isn't going to kill all the witches! In fact, I doubt that killing them all would solve anything!"
Lucienne exhaled, relieved that Mael had dropped the sword. "Not all of them are evil, though. Just the violent ones." she said, no longer shrieking. She wanted to add, 'like the ones that killed your father', but she didn't want to mention Jason.
"That's true." Lucienne said hesitantly. "But it's only the evil ones we need to get rid of." She didn't want her son to be so hateful. She understood where he was coming fro, but still...
"But just the violent ones." Lucienne said. Mael still looked angry...Lucienne tried to remember the last time he had smiled and had fun. Well, maybe at the next ball.
"Alright. How about you come inside now?" Lucienne asked hopefully. Inside, she was praying that Mael would just be a good boy and come inside with her.
((It's ok!))
Lucienne frowned. "Why are you going to the armory?" she called after him. Poor boy. He had so much pent up anger over his father's death.

"Oh." Lucienne said, slightly embarrassed. She chose not to answer the second picture. "Anyway, I thought you might be interested in the fact that more witches have been killed than usual this past week. No one knows the cause."
