Why was Jace so creepy?

kate In City of Lost Souls, I noticed that Jace was super sexually predatory towards Clary when he was tied to Sebastian! Examples-

“She sucked in a startled breath. Jace, her Jace, had never looked at her like that. He had looked at her with desire, but not with this lazy, predatory, consuming look that made her heart pulse unevenly in her chest.”

“She shook her head, pulling the robe closer. Suddenly she wanted to be covered up in front of him, in front of all that familiarity and beauty and that lovely predatory smile that said he was willing to do whatever with her, to her, no matter who was waiting in the hall."

“The peculiar light in the club turned his eyes an array of fractured colors. His smile was wicked. “You can tell me to stop whenever you want,” he said. “But you won’t.”

And also on the day after the club scene, when Jace tries to unbutton her jeans.
What was with that? I know his connection to Sebastian altered his will, but it didn't affect how much he loved Clary.. but why was he forcing himself on her? I don't get it. Anyone want to explain?

Nikita I think it was because of Sebastian's obsession with Clary mixed in with Jace's own feelings for her. His feelings for her became dark and predatory like thanks to Sebastian's influence. But that wasn't the real Jace. Sebastian saw Clary like that and so it transferred into Jace who acted on those feelings.

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood exactly my thoughts.

Because you have to remember that Sebastian was Obsessed with Clary. And not in a brotherly way. It was more in terms of 'I think I love you and your supper hot. So now I want to have sex with you even if that is through someone else.' Seeing as whatever Jace experienced so did Sebastian. Seeing as when they did make out and she clawed at his back and she left those finger nail marks on his back. They also showed up on Sebastian's as well. So wouldn't that mean that whatever Jace did with Clary he would also feel and somewhat experience it as well? Plus add that all to the fact of what Nikita said, and I think that about sums it up.

Because Sebastian's impulses was making him do it.

Additionally, Jace controlled by Sebastian was basically Jace without his inner moral compass and his own humanity. He had the outward appearance and general behavior of himself, but his darker impulses were Sebastian's. Also, every person has a darker side to them; I imagine since he wasn't really himself the darker side of him became more dominant without him being able to control it.

As the Iron Sister's told us: When two people are bound together as we have with Jace and Sebastian, they share common goals and desires they wouldn't have wanted otherwise. When Jace was bound to Sebastian his heart was darker, and Sebastian wants Clary.
