Abigail smiled and nodded slightly.
Damon awkwardly took another sip of his smoothie, not quite sure what to say next.
Abigail leaned back some, glancing up at the sky. How long as it been since I've went on a real date? she asked herself in thought before sighing softly.
"Penny for your thoughts?" Damon asked.
Abigail blinked her baby blue eyes, snapping back to reality. She gasped as her chair almost lost balance and fell from her leaning back to far, but lucky she kept balance. "Heh....." she said awkwardly.
"And you call me clumsy," Damon chuckled, "That was a rather graceful chair twist that was."
Abigail scrunched up her nose some, "I wasn't thinking straight..." she smirked.
"A bit preoccupied with those thoughts I'm paying a penny for?" He asked.
Abigail sighed, "It was nothing important," she murmured.
"Are you sure?" He asked, eyebrows pushing together, "Seemed sort of big."
Abigail whistled low, "Mm, I was thinking how I haven't been on a real date for awhile," she shrugged.
"No way," He said in disbelief.
"I find that very hard to believe," He said
Abigail shrugged, "Never really was the social type," she sighed.
"That I just might be able to believe." He teased.
Abigail rolled her eyes playfully, "So, I never liked really going out on dates before," she muttered, glancing around.
"Why not?" Damon asked curiously. Whatever it was, he had to make sure he didn't do it.
"Mm, I didn't like falling in love actually," she sighed. "I thought I fell in love.. until he went and cheated behind my back," she muttered under her breath.
Damon frowned. How could anyone ever want to cheat on her? "I'm sorry," He said, "I promised you that I will never, ever, cheat. On math tests... possibly. But not on you."
Abigail smiled faintly, "Mm, I hope you can keep that promise.." she sighed.
He drew an X over his chest, "Cross my heart,"
"Alright, I'm trusting you," she said softly.
He smiled, "I promise," He said seriously, "I will never hurt you... unless I accidentally run into you, I do that sometimes."
Abigail smiled softly, "Mm'kay then..." she sighed.
He smiled kindly at her, "I can prove it to you over time, trust me."
Abigail nodded slightly, her baby blue gaze softening.
He stared into her eyes for a little while, all of a sudden all of his thoughts just disappeared.
Abigail didnt look away, she smiled softly and blushed faintly.
He coughed and cleared his throat when he realized he'd been staring at her for a really long time. "Er... sorry."
Abigail giggled a little, "it's fine," she smiled.
He turned a little red, but smiled with her.
Abigail smiled before taking a small sip of her smoothie.
He did the same, looking down at his hands awkwardly.
Abigail sighed softly, closing her eyes for a moment.

Damon's phone beeped. He took it out and read the text, "That's my mom. I need to get home." He sighed, "I'll meet you back here tonight?" He asked.

Damon returned to the smoothie place to meet Abby for his date. HE wore his usual jeans and a t-shirt, but this time he had a bundle of flowers in one hand.

Abigail sighed nervously as she walked back to the smoothie shop, wearing something complete different. Just before she had hurried home to change into something nice. Instead of her tomboy self, she was wearing a simple short white dress then ends touching her mid-thighs, it was strapless but she was wearing a jean jacket. She smiled lightly, pushing her long bangs out of her baby blue eyes.
Damon's eyes widened and he pictured a heart thumping out of his chest like in old cartoons, "Wow, you look amazing!" He said, "Oh, uh... these are for you." He said, holding out the flowers to her.
Abigail blushed lightly, "T-thanks..." she muttered shyly. "Aw, their beautiful," she said softly, smiling as she took the flowers from him.
He turned red, "Yeah, almost as beautiful as you." He felt like such a cheese-ball for saying that, but he didn't care.
Abigail smiled, "Well, aren't you a sweetheart," she giggled softly before leaning forward and giving him a quick kiss on the cheek.
His blush deepened to a dark crimson, and for a second he felt like he was gonna go BOOM!
"I try," He joked, "So, I was thinking we could either take a nice walk on the boardwalk or maybe the beach. Or we could go mini golfing, or to the amusement park..." He listed

Abigail nodded, thinking about it. Honestly, all that sounded great to her. "Well, where would you like to go?" she asked firmly.

He considered this, "I think we should do something fun and exciting, then end the night with the calm and relaxing stuff."
