"I can't get thrown in again if I don't get out," she pointed out smugly. She ducked under the water to avoid his splashes. "So ha!"

"Ah!" Paige swam to the farthest edge of the pool from Jake.

He swam after her, and caught up with her. "hewwo." he said.

She launched of the wall and swam quickly to the other side. "Hello? I'm all the way over here!

He laughed and followed.

"Catch me if you caaaaan!" she taunted, pulling herself out of the pool and away from the edge so he couldn't reach her to pull her in.

He hopped out and ran around and hugged her from behind. "caught ya" he leaned down ands whispered in her ear trying not to laugh, but he had a smirk on.

"Buuuuuuuuuut not really because I still win." Paige grabbed his arms and flipped him over into the pool. She laughed so hard that she doubled over.

He laughed and hopped our pushing her in and mused back in after her. "I think not."

"But I almost did because you weigh more than me and I still flipped you over me," she said with a grin when she resurfaced.

"true. Okay, I guess you can take this win." he said, with a over dramatic sigh.

"Yay!" She smiled triumphantly. She heard a loud chime from where she'd set her towel and swam over to the edge. She pulled herself out just enough to grab her phone from inside a waterproof pocket that was sewn into her towel. She looked at the message she'd received and scowled. "How rude," she mumbled, then flung her phone lightly back so it landed softly on the towel. "Sometimes Mira annoys me," she said, pushing off the wall and gliding over to Jake.

"oh, and how's that?" he said just standing there looking at her.

"Well, she annoys me with her insane stunts, but this time she's bothering me about-" she cut herself off. "Something..." she finished slowly.

"about..." he tried to keep her going sinking into the water so it was up to his neck.

Jakes whole face frowned. "oh. Whos might that be?" he asked, the shook his head. "never mind." he smiled again.

"You probably wouldn't know him." She shrugged and tried to act like the 'guy Jake probably wouldn't know' wasn't actually him. "She hasn't stopped bugging me about it for ever since I said anything."

"Uh..." She struggled to think of a fake name. "His name is Hunter......" Mira would kill her for that. Then again, she wasn't ever speaking to Mira again so whatever.

"hmm, I know a hunter. Sounds like the guy my sister kissed but he didn't like her or something. Poor girl." he sighed he said knowing she was lying.

He shrugged, "probably not. Last name?" he said laughing a bit.

"Leon." There was no way they were talking about the same Hunter. Bella would not still be alive if she had kissed Mira's Hunter.

"Really? What's her name?" She asked, now genuinely curious.

He shrugged. "Paige." he said and dove under before she could say anything he felt his face burning. He didn't like to lie, so he just told her. It mighta been either the smarter this he has ever done or the dumbest.

"Wait what?" She was a little bewildered. "Wait no you can't hide under the water now!" She dove under the water and pulled Jake back up. "Okay like Paige as in another girl that has the same name as me or like Paige as in me?"

"Uh..." He sank back down and sat at the bottom blowing bubbles

"Hey! I said no hiding!" Paige let herself sink under the water so she was eye level with Jake. She crossed her arms and frowned at him, then pointed up.

He frowned the flowed um again with his arms crossed, puppy dog face and his wet hair in his eyes.

She followed him up. "Answer," she said when her head was above the water. "Truthfully," she added.
