With Luke next to her and Alix's joke, Marlene quickly got over her shyness and laughed, "Definetly agree with Alix. These two are very special. Is rare to find someone as thoughtful and caring as my Woffly - er as Luke. He's so wonderful, considerate, intelligent, reliable and truly in touch with his emotions as where other guys always try to act tough and are dumb." she agreed, because though her cheeks were slightly red, she was speaking the truth, she believed every word she said with every atom in her body. She still marveled at the fact that she had meet someone like Luke and was truly grateful that all the things that had happened for them to meet the way they had had happened. Marlene squeezed Luke hand tight to assure him that she meant everything she said and so much more, hoping that he knew just as much as she did that what she had said was more true than her love for books.
Gwen smiled a little at Alix when she grabbed her hand, knowing that she knew what she had been thinking about. She hoped that the pain and suffering was hidden behind the very thin layered mask she had put up so she wouldn't start to cry, because every time she thought about him the pain grew, the longing for him intensified and she feared that one day it would all come out. Because though Squad was there and were willing to help her, she knew that none of them could every truly take away the emotions she felt for him and his absence. She too deep breaths and tried her best to stay happy, she didn't want anyone to worry about her. But felt like the pressure was building up and the pit of her stomach was aching. She tried coming up with excuses to leav without it being rude or questionable, but nothing came until the mention of cookies. She looked at Alix and Magnus and smiled, though it pained her too, and said, "You know, I think we still have some of the pink heart cookies we made a few days ago. I'll go get them and some milk. Right after I wash my hands." she announced, as she got up, shot her twin an 'I'm okay' look and headed towards the bathroom. Knowing that her sister was going to worry anyway. But she needed to get away. She needed space and she knew she needed to cry, even if it was just for a few minutes.
Magnus turned bright red at Marlene and Alix's compliment, "Aw shucks. Thanks guys." he said, only half joking, because he truly was delighted to both see Alix confident and hear that he was amazing. He bright Alix to his chest and wrapped his arms tightly around her again, as ge lovingly rubbed her stomach, though he knew it didn't hurt, but it was just because he loved her and whispered in her ear, " I love you my little cloud. I love you with all my heart. With every ounce of my being. Thank you." and then kissed her ear, restraining himself from moving down her neck and to her collarbone like he usually did when he wanted to show her how grateful he was.

((Okay, sorry guys. That was super long. Sorry!))
((Hi Marietta! And to answer your question: I created all of them, but I pulled and based off certain attributes from book characters that I like. They are all truly diversely, especially my guys.))

((Yeah, all of my guy characters are just people I made up, but each one is generally after a favorite character in a movie or a book, like Luke's basic character is sort of after Levi from Fangirl. But overall I do the same thing as Annabeth :) ))
((That's okay Annabeth, goodness knows we have written longer ones.))
Luke grinned at Marlene's words, "Thank you. I love you." he whispered. He nodded to Ennelin and Sara, "I don't know how I feel about birds nest soup, but I have had pork fu. I'm not sure what it's made of, but if you want to picture it, think of a tan colored sweater that has been run over by a lawn mower and then put in a container." he said with a laugh that Alix joined in on, It was true that was exactly what it looked like. Luke didn't like that Gwen was leaving because she was like a sister to him and he never wanted her to be upset, but he would hug and talk to her later, he knew that she didn't want to call attention to her leaving.
Alix grinned, "It's the truth Commander." she said with loving ruffle of his hair. "And the same to you." she whispered because she couldn't match such beautiful words that he had put the thought into. She grinned at his kiss and stroked his hair. She didn't like that Gwen had left, but she knew the same thi that Luke did so she settled on smiling and laughing with Magnus and Luke.

((Yeah. Yay!!...... Haha!! That's so true. We have Defoe fly written longer post, which is a little crazy, but what can we say? We like to write and explain in detail.))

((Yeah I know what you mean about detail. Sometimes if I have a lot of inspiration, I can write quite a bit. My longest was seven paragraphs! Also, did you mean 'definitely' and not 'Defoe fly'?))
Ennelin smiled as she saw the two couples praising each other and being happy again. She knew her guess about Gwen missing Enzo had been right, but it seemed to be more serious that she had known about. 'I can't wait to try your award-winning cookies then!' she said when Gwen got up, giving her a warm smile in the hopes of making her feel better, but she wasn't sure that it would work. Having lost all her friends, except Sara, when she had come to the academy, she knew it was hard to get over the separation. Especially when her friends were too busy to email or text her. It seemed that they had forgotten about her entirely, but she understood. But it was also partly her fault, since she had also not tried to contact them. Perhaps it was entirely her fault. At least she got to keep her best friend. 'Pork fu sounds disgusting,' she said with a laugh,' but what is bird's nest soup? Wouldn't it be all twigs and grass?'
Sara smiled at the sweet and loving words and actions exchanged between the others. Everything seemed normal again, except for when Gwen left the room suddenly on the pretext of getting them cookies. Ennelin had told her about their new friends when they had been unpacking her stuff that afternoon, so Sara knew about the fire and some of their history. She felt really sorry that Gwen had not only lost Enzo, but unlike Marlene, had also not found someone else. Her mind then turned to other matters, and she laughed at Luke's description. 'Is it some sort of tofu that is has that strange appearance?' she asked, smiling. Then, in a mock dreamy voice, she said, 'Oh Ennelin, you must try bird's nest soup. It's not at all what you're thinking. In Asia, swifts build their nests out of their own spit. People take those nests and boil it till it becomes a soup. Imagine drinking the sweet stuff, feeling the slimey and sticky saliva flowing down your throat.' She laughed again when she saw Ennelin's horrified countenance. 'Ok I've never actually tasted it, but it is true! It's bird's saliva!' she exclaimed.

Marlene had to fight the very strong urge to run after Gwen and give her a great big hug. To ask her what was wrong, even though she had a very good idea of what was wrong. She wanted to be the for her twin, but also knew there was she could do or say that would help or take away the pain. Only Enzo had the power to do that. And that hurt more, it made her breath catch and feel like she was trapped in a room where the water was rising and she was going to drown. She leaned into Luke, all the way in and cuddled very closely to him. Because right now she really needed his comfort, she need to know he was there for her and that he wouldn't let go. That he, one of her anchors, would stay firm and hold her to the ground, that she wouldn't break, but stay safe. Because she didn't want to break, not here, not now. She didn't say anything but put her hands on his hands and put her head on his collarbone until she felt a little better.
When Gwen was out of the living room she ran. She ran to the bathroom and shut the door before she let out a whimper, which then turned into a full on sob. She curled into a ball and sobbed out of fear, and anger and sadness. The Darkness fully consumed her and plagued her worth dark thoughts until she could almost not see any light. And tastes there sitting down on the bathroom floor.
Magnus held tight to Alix, for his and her benefit. He had fight the urge to also stay out as Gwen walked out of the room. He stayed smiling and stroking her hair, giving her kisses, and rubbing her stomach so she wouldn't get to upset. He pulled out all the stops he could and tries to draw as little attention as possible. "It's okay. We'll be fine.Gwen will be fine. She a big girl and a fighter. Okay?" he assured and kept talked gently and softly, soothing her calmly.

((Cool!! Yay!! Wow that's amazing! I think our longest is somewhere near there right Elizabeth? And yes, that's what I meant. Sorry, auto correct is annoying. Pardon all the grammar mistakes please. Sorry!))
Luke knew that Marlene needed reassurance, so he forgot his plan to try and find a way to comfort Gwen, but from the look on Alix's face she was going to find a way instead. He held Marlene tight and whispered to her occasionally to make sure she stayed okay. He also made sure to participate in the conversations though so that Marlene wouldn't feel like the attention of the room was on her. "Okay, so um.. pork fu is really gross actually, nothing like tofu. I think that it's Chinese name is Rousong and basically it's pork muscle that is soaked in soy sauce and then strained and then they do something that makes it all cottony right Alix?" he asked and got a nod and a smile in return. He didn't quite remember, but he knew that someone had told him that once, or maybe he had read it? "Yeah, anyway, it's gross." he said. "I think I have some actually." he added with a grin. "I know that you would just LOVE that Ennelin." he teased gently and then whispered lovingly to Marlene as he waited for a response. He was very good at multi-tasking when he needed to be.
Alix let Magnus comfort her, but she wasn't worried about herself, she was only worried about her friends and Luke. Luke would be okay because he was like her, he was in the mode and he wouldn't even pause to look at his own problem. He was comforting Marlene which meant that either Magnus or herself would have to go help Gwen, but not both, that would be too obvious and Gwen wouldn't want that... Alix's mind was working at a hundred miles an hour to try and figure out what to do and she was thankful for Magnus' hands on her to remind her that she was in the present and not lost in her mind. She nodded to his whisper, but she wasn't going to let her friend go through this by herself, "I know she is, but... I just can't let her punish herself with her thoughts ." she whispered in reply before taking Luke's very subtle prompt. "I can go find it." she offered with a grin, she was using her acting skills and only Magnus, Luke, and possibly Marlene would know that she was acting. "That Rousong I mean. It might take a while because Luke has a ridiculous organization system." she said with a chuckle and a shake of her head, that much was true. She had never really understood his organization system. She softly kissed Magnus' cheek, "I will be back, and you're right, we'll be okay." she said softly and lovingly before getting up and smiling to the new friends. She hoped that Magnus would be okay and that everyone would hold together as she, hopefully, got Gwen at least partly put back together. Luckily Luke's room was close to the bathroom which was where she had a feeling Gwen had gone. She went to Luke's room first and quickly looked through his stuff until she found the Rousong/pork fu. She grinned and then walked to the bathroom, very quietly knocking on the door before slightly opening it, "Gwen? It's just me, Alix. Do you think you could use a hug?" she asked very gently. Gwen was going to get a hug whether she wanted one or not, but Alix offered nevertheless. She did not like seeing her friends in pain. She wouldn't let her do this to herself.
((Haha! Yeah, at least :D I hate auto-correct as well. Ugh!))

Ennelin noticed the subtle changes in how her friends acted after Gwen had left. She was a bit distracted as she looked around the room and observed everyone's behaviour. But hearing Luke, she entered the conversation again. 'That really does sound awful. Oh - you don't actually have to get it, Alix!' she said, watching Alix leave the room. 'Nooo!' she exclaimed, using some slow motion on her last word. She had a feeling that Alix had another purpose other than finding the horrible dish, so she just laughed at herself and didn't say anything else. Glancing at Sara, she could tell that her best friend had more than a feeling of what was going on. Perhaps it was because Sara had experienced more pain and trouble in her life than Ennelin had, and was therefore more perceptive and mature than she was. She sometimes felt that she was an inexperienced child next to Sara, even though she was more than half a year older. But there were also times when she felt like an older sister to her, and this was one of those times, she could tell. Sara was sitting right next to her, so Ennelin put her hand on hers to comfort her and remind her that she had at least one friend who would never leave her.
Sara was quiet as she watched the others' reactions and movements. Many thoughts passed through her mind, one after the other. At first, she felt worried and concerned about Gwen. Then she felt sorry for Marlene and Alix who both seemed really worried. She also admired Luke and Magnus for being such nice guys. She had been serious when she had praised them earlier. But what she felt most of all was a feeling that she was an intruder in their lives, someone who couldn't and might never understand their past or be able to tell how they felt at certain times, someone who was not welcome among them. Someone who couldn't do anything to help, unlike Alix. In short, she felt like a stranger and not like a friend at all. It was a common enough situation for her. Every time she met someone new, this feeling came over her as she struggled to break the barrier and be accepted into her new friend's life. Sara always wanted the friendship-making process to happen faster that it could. Normally, it did take a while, but she had been lucky with Ennelin. They had clicked from the very moment they had met and Sara had known instantly that Ennelin was to become her best friend. Sara had been lost in her thoughts when she felt her friend's hand on hers, reassuring her, and she tuned into the conversation again. 'Oh that is definitely nothing like tofu! The things that people are willing to eat.' she said, shaking her head.

Magnus sighed and let go of Alix, knowing that she was right and that Marlene was too distraught to actually do any good so though Magnus though he should be one, he knew hat the two girls had a special bond on an another level where they connect and knew that it would help. So he focused on his other friends and the conversation. He instantly noticed the expression on Ennelin and Sara's face and walked over to them gently, bring a chair and sitting in front of them, but still being able to hold Marlene's hand. Quietly he explained the situation with Gwen, but leaving out details a that were not needed to be said by him, but by Gwen instead. When he finished he smiled and looked at the gently, "There's no need to be sad. I promise she'll get better. She's really strong. Stronger than even she knows." he added after everything else.
Marlene had her face hidden in Luke's collar bone as she tried to shut out Magnus' explanation so she wouldn't break too. She needed to stay strong and happy, if by for Gwen, then for Luke and herself. She needed to, so when she felt Luke start comb her hair she smiled a bit. His smooth, lyrical voice stared to relax her and steer her toward the lift again. She hadn't realized that her grip on his shirt had tightened until she started to unclench her hands. "Thank you." she whispered as she took deep breaths and focused on getting better. She knew he was putting all his effort in a making her feel better, and luckily it was working.
Gwen was curled up tightly into a ball in the far corner of the bathroom wth her head in her knees that had been brought up to chest and her arms around her legs. She was sobbing so loudly that her ears roared and her throat was sore form how deep her pain and sorrow was scratching her throat. Darkness was fully surrounding her now, after such a fight for the last three months of fighting and go back and forth between Light and Dark, she realized that the Dark was finally wining. That she was losing and every good thought was turning evil and dark.

((Haha! Yes, I think that everyone on Goodreads or maybe all over hate autocorrect :) And thanks! ))
Luke continued to softly speak to Marlene and stroke her hair and ward off the dark, he was worried about his sister, but the thing about Alix and the reason it was best that she went, was that even if after lots of stress she didn't bode well, when she was focused she wouldn't give up. Gwen would be better no matter how long it would take, because Alix wouldn't give up. He nodded, "There is nothing to thank." he whispered and continued to comfort her. It was true, he was just doing what was natural, to comfort and assure Marlene's happiness. He nodded to Magnus' words, but didn't say anything for Marlene's sake.
Alix could hear the sobbing and it made her stomach twist, but she shut up her stomach and went on full comfort mode, sure, Gwen was a big sister, but Alix had her fair share of comforting being the younger sister and she wasn't about to give up. She walked into the bathroom softly and saw Gwen curled up on the floor, she sat right beside her and gave her a loving hug, stroking her hair. "Gwen, it will be alright, don't worry, I've got you and you can fight this." she said in a regular volume so that Gwen could hear past her own crying. Alix comforted her in silence for a bit, but that wasn't how she comforted people, words always worked best for Alix. "Gwen. you can fight this, you need to stop this. I know it hurts okay? Do not tell me that I don't know because I know, but you can't let it control you. I know that right now this feels like the end of the world, like you'll never make it past, like you are consumed in Darkness. But you will make it out and the sooner the better, your sister is waiting, Magnus is waiting, Luke, he's waiting, and I am right here. I know that this is hard for you, but if you think of yourself then this isn't going to go well, Gwen." she said honestly. "Do you know what made me stand up and stop crying after I found Jonah and Laney? Do you know what ripped me from my thoughts and made me get my stuff together?" she asked rhetorically, "It was Luke, because I realized that I loved my friends, but they were gone, but Luke, he was there and it was my brother, and he needed me just as I needed him. I'm not saying that Enzo is gone, he isn't, he is right back at your home and you will see him again, and Jonah and Laney aren't gone, they just aren't in this chapter of my life, maybe I'll see them again, in whatever part of my life or after in a dream. after I die, in a picture, who knows... but the point is that Enzo and Leon aren't gone, they just aren't in this chapter of your life. I know that it feels like a dark knife and that you want this chapter of your life to be over already, but you have to be strong, you have to hold it together and come back. Enzo isn't here right now, but Marlene is. And I know that no one will ever replace him, but right now you need to focus on the present, the past is in the past and the future holds the unknown, but right now? Anything is possible right now, and we decide what happens." she continued in her rant, knowing that this is similar to what she had done last time something like this had happened, but this time she was sharing more because she knew her friend better. "When I got up from my corner of my room and stopped crying, I held my head high and focused on what needed to be done in the present, I found Luke, I helped him do the same, stand up straight and focus on now. Nine months later we came here and we found you guys and Magnus." she smiled at his name. "And goodness, I know that you will see Enzo again, because he will find a way, I can tell he loves you and I've never met him. If he is anything like you describe him and even remotely like Luke or Magnus then he will never give up. But right now you need to focus and stop, fight away those nasty thoughts because right now it is up to you. I can help, but it's you that has to decided to get better." she finished and continued to hug her friend, surrounding her with the light of so,some who had been through a very similar thing and was still there and happy, hoping her words had helped. If not then she would try again, Alix was an endless pit of stories and words, something would work if this didn't.
((Okay, so that was super super long... Sorry. I know, but it needed to be done. Goodness I hope that worked *whew!*))
((Haha! It's fine. And yes it did, it was well put. Nice job! Either way, well have to wait and see. Hehe!))

((That was really sweet. Alix is seriously an abyss of words!))
Ennelin nodded as she listened quietly to Magnus explaining the situation. 'Marlene did tell me a bit about it before. I didn't really know how close they had been though, so I didn't realise how bad Gwen felt.' she admitted, feeling rather awkward at being involved in such a situation. It was okay if it was one of her close friends who was troubled, because then she would be able to help, since she understood why they were sad. But she had just met Gwen and didn't know the full story, so she was unable to do anything. She felt helpless, and she hated feeling that way. She could tell that someone else at least was doing something. Alix must have gone to comfort Gwen since they were both taking so long in the other parts of the dorm. Leaning over to Marlene, she patted her hesitantly on the shoulder, wanting to help comfort at least one person.
Sara frowned as Magnus told them more about Gwen's history. Ennelin hadn't told her all of the details since they had been mostly catching up with each other back in her dorm. She nodded and said, 'It must be awful. But she didn't seem at all sad when we first came to your dorm, so I can tell that she is strong. Her defence just happened to weaken when we talked about certain things. It's perfectly understandable. I just hope she realises that getting sad now doesn't mean she'll be sad for the rest of her life.' She wasn't sure if she was being understanding, tactless or just plain rude, but she wanted the others to know that she also supported Gwen and would do whatever was needed of her. 'And Marlene,' she continued, unsure of how her friends would feel about her little speech, 'You have to be strong. How can you expect Gwen to handle it if you can't?' she demanded firmly, but not bossily. She could tell that Ennelin was surprised at her frankness, but she ignored it.

((Yeah, that's really true. You should see when we first started and Luke and Marlene kept going back and forth between lift and dark and how long of paragraphs we wrote. How deep and thoughtful each word sounded. It was absolutely adorable and crazy.))
Magnus nodded at Ennelin and smiled, "Yeah. Is not something she openly talks about when she meets knew people. But she'll be okay. She's stronger than anyone else I know, she just has to let some sadness out because if she doesn't that she'll turn into a ticking time bomb." he explained. He was fine up until Sara started to talk. He agreed with some points of her speech, but others made him made. They made him want to shield his friends from those hurtful words. He didn't like when people talked to his friends like that, especially in this particular instant in this situation. But he kept his calm and smiled. He wasn't one to unleash anger easily, it would take a lot for him to do something like that, so he decided to explain what was going on. He explained that the twins connection went far beyond just being able to talk at the same time. Whenever one felt something, the other did too, whether it was emotions or pain or sorrow. They even shared dreams! So Marlene was trying to pull herself from that attachment because she was feeling everything Gwen was. She felt every flicker of Light go out, every good thought turn dark and every ounce of pain her twin felt. They were just that close.
Gwen had heard to Alix's speech, but she hadn't really listened. It had touched her, but it hadn't motivated her like her friend probably expected if to. The only thing that made her light flicker was something The Voice said, and that was that she hadn't put up a fight. That she had been doomed from to beginning and that she'd never been a worthy opponent. Which just happens to be the exact opposite of the words that Enzo had told her before she had left for Lakewood. That one little paragraph sparked her Light and it let her stand up. With wobbly knees she had gotten up and stood by the counter with her hands gripping both sides for support. Breathing in and out and imagining the many times Enzo had helped her through tough times. Going through the procedure he had her go through every time. Only once losing her temper to something The Voice said and banging the counter with her fist. Smacking it hard, but the pain no where to be felt. She stood there for what seemed to be forever and let her Light reignite. And when she finally had, she looked down, her face crimson red with embarrassment because she had absolutely lost it. She had almost fully gone Dark. She half almost lost the battle against The Darkness and it came at the expense of Alix, because she knew that sooner or later that her friend would feel the pain of seeing her in pain and she was the one to blame. She knew that Magnus and Luke would help her, but that fact that she knew why her friend was like this made her feel sick to the core.
Marlene took deep breaths in and letting the scent of Watermelon overtake her. She paid no attention to Magnus, Ennelin to Sara, only Luke, because he was her Light. And together they fought each other's battles. Which was exactly what they were doing at that instant. She had gained control of herself and The Darkness that had wanted to overtake her. Now she focused on snuggling with him and pushing the rest of the bad thoughts away.
Magnus nodded at Ennelin and smiled, "Yeah. Is not something she openly talks about when she meets knew people. But she'll be okay. ((Yes, true :) Great post Annabeth!))
Luke felt a small pang of anger at her demanding tone, but he smiled and softly nodded because he knew they just met her and didn't really get it yet, it was hard to understand if you didn't have a relationship like hers. He was pretty sure that Sara and Ennelin did have that relationship with each other though, so maybe after Magnus explained they would get it. He let Magnus explain and focused on wrapping his love around Marlene, knowing that he would be acting similar to how she was because Luke and Alix had a similar relationship that Marlene and Gwen had.
Alix felt highly dejected at the fact that she had shared so much and tried so hard and none of it had worked, she would have cried, but no, she wouldn't let herself. So she let Gwen work through it by herself and she stood alone in the far edge of the room. She flinched when Gwen smacked the counter, but knew that Gwen couldn't see her, she wasn't paying attention to anything else. She hated that she didn't even help at all, but she would beat herself up for that later because if she did it now she would be on the floor in a ball just like Gwen had been. She spent the rest of the time that Gwen was working through her own problems to collect herself and become a convincing calm that even Gwen wouldn't be able to see through, it was steel. If Gwen were Luke then yes, he would see right through just like Magnus would as well, but Alix refused to let Gwen see, it would only hurt her more, so Alix stayed strong. She had mastered this sort of calm because though she hated to lie, sometimes it was the only option. When Gwen looked down she smiled very softly and cautiously put her hand on her friend's shoulder, "Are you a bit better?" she asked, her voice strong, but soft and calm. Through that calmness was a swarm of sadness, she felt like absolute worthlessness, she hadn't even been able to raise a finger to her friend's Darkness and she wanted to scream and sob and run and get away and be embraced by her brother and Magnus and do anything else except stand here and be worthless! But no, she stayed calm and softly smiling on the outside. Alix had done this multiple times throughout her life, and though she knew that she would feel the effects later, right now nothing could touch her on the outside. She had a feeling that when she walked out and saw one look of automatic knowing from Luke or Magnus that she would break down. Like when you hold in your tears, but when realization that you need to cry jumps on you and knocks you to the ground and you can't stand back up without help. But as she waited for her friend's response she spent every thought making her movements and expressions flawlessly calm, she needed someone to comfort her, but in front of the person that needed her to stay together, she would be strong.

((Thanks! Yours was great too, but I think that Alix mistook Gwen's actions for something else.... Anyway, yours was great too! We are writing a lot.))
((Welcome, thanks. And maybe she did, but wasn't that sort of what happened? I mean technically Alix's words didn't do anything for Gwen, so that just made her feel worthless I guess. If you look at it in Alix's point of view it makes sense... well in my opinion it does, but I can change it if you like. And yes, we are indeed writing a lot :) ))
((Thanks, welcome.... Oh!!! I found the problem!!! All of my text didn't copy over. That's why. There's suppose to be a part where Gwen says that Alix's transfer Light helps her efforts and gives her the strength to get back up on her feet, but apparently it didn't copy over. I don't even know how that can happen, but yeah. Also there's a part where Gwen admits that Alix is right about getting back up and having to get through her challenges no mater how hard you are. That with friends she can get through anything..... How the heck didn't that copy over. That's super weird. *sighs* wow!!))
((Okay, that makes more sense... I was super confused for a minute there. :) So do you just want to leave it? I mean I can rewrite the whole thing but... you choose.))
((Yeah, sorry for the confusion. :( And that up to you. You're the one that would be having to rewrite it, so that's your choice. If you do great, if not that's fine, I'll just have to change Gwen's approach. Up to you.))
((If I didn't have to rewrite it that would be great... it was sort of a long post. But if it's easier for you then I can. It's really not a problem it was just confusing for a second, it's good now :D don't worry.))
((Haha!! That's fine, just expect some very heavy comforting and correction of thought from Gwen to Alix. She hates when she is misinterpreted and it causes pain to others. There will be a lot of comforting from her. I know that much. And okay, good. I thought I was going to have to rewrite mine too, which would be a total problem, but yours would be harder to correct because it would be a totally different structure of thought for Alix.))
((Yeah, okay that sounds good, you're right it would be bad for you and super bad for me, I wouldn't even know where to start, thanks! Sorry about the confusion.))
((Haha! Okay, that's fine. And yeah, that would be very hard to have to start over. Oh well, next time I'll have to make sure everything copies over. And nah it's fine, no worries.))
Ennelin continued to listen silently to Magnus. 'I understand what you mean,' she said gently, trying to make up for Sara's aggressiveness, 'Sometimes that happens to Sara and me. It wasn't genetically inherent in us like it is for twins, but it gradually formed over the six years we've known each other.' she said. She could tell her friend was going to say something potentially unwise, so she said 'Sara,' firmly, putting her hand on hers. 'Remember, we're not all like you.' she added significantly, knowing that Sara would understand what she meant. Because Sara was so extroverted and bold, she tended to have strong opinions about things and often asserted them when she thought it necessary. This, however, wasn't always the right decision. Other people weren't as bold as she was, so they didn't understand her good intention, and they sometimes felt overwhelmed and upset at her attitude. She glanced around at the others and was relieved to see that Marlene, who would have felt the most hurt by Sara, wasn't listening.
Sara just nodded to what Magnus was saying, realising that perhaps what she had said hadn't been taken so well after all. Although she could sometimes be rather tactless, she wasn't so stupid as to say anymore in the same manner as before. The reminder that Ennelin gave her was unnecessary, but it did confirm the others' feelings. 'Yes, it sometimes does happen to us,' she said in agreement with her friend. In fact, at that moment, it was happening to them. They were both having the same thought. Sara wanted to ask the shared question that they were thinking of, but she knew that Ennelin didn't want her to. But someone had to ask, so she asked curiously, 'Then, if Marlene has good thoughts, does Gwen feel them too?' She caught Ennelin's look, but shrugged it off. She had just wanted to voice out their mutual thought.

((That was a really good post Marietta!! That was super awesomely written!!))
Magnus smiled gently. Wanting to make sure neither girl took his and Luke's, because he knew that he too would've been angry because of how close he was to the twins, hidden. But slowly nodded and sighed in both relief and anguish. Relief quickly overtook him at the sight of Marlene's relaxation and cuddling with Luke, that meant she was fine and had won most of her battle so far, that meant he could relax. But anguish took form as the question was asked. He knew that the friends didn't fully understand the relationship between the twins so he would have to explain the monumentous task that was so sad that Marlene had just completed. "Yes, Marlene can send good thoughts to Gwen and she will feel them.... But she not only has to deal with overcoming her twin's dark, but her own that I'm sure comes out whenever it sees an opportunity to mess with her. So she had to fight two waves of Darkness before she could even start with having to repair all darkness with light. And after feeling all the times her twin's Light flickered, or how all good thought turned bad and the Darkness engulfing her sister slowly, I don't think she'll easily be Abel to do so." he explained gently before putting a his hand on Marlene's back and rubbing gently, trying to help because he truly cared about her very much. And was vaguely aware of his stomach starting to drop, knowing that something was wrong with Alix. He knew Luke felt it too, and knew they would have to take her aside and help her later.
Gwen didn't even think of the question Alix had just asked her because she had quickly hugged her. Wrapping her arm tightly around her friend with such gratefulness that she thought she might hurt her friend from how hard she was hugging her. Minutes later when she finally let go and took a step back she nodded. "Thank you so much Alix. Thank you. I owe you so much for your help. So much and I have no idea how I'll every repair you, but I will very much try to." she started out with and starts to explain and correct what she must be feeling for misinterpreting her wrong, because though she couldn't fully see through her mask of sorts, she knew that it only came out on rare occasion and situations.... and that usually meant that she was trying to his hurt. "Alix I don't think you understand how mugs you helped me. How much your words and Light helped bring me back from The Darkness..... Alix. Your Light transfer Light gave me the straight to hell get back up on her feet. Your words took time of course, but I fully admit that your right. That no matter how strong I am or much The Darkness has won, that with I can get through anything. " She adds and takes her friend's hand with a small smile. "You helped me realize this, not anyone else. You did. You helped so much more than you know. I am standing because of your valiant efforts and am very honestly proud to call you my friend. As am honored that' you trusted me enough, though I was sobbing, to open up and share so much about you. I am.... So please don't feel like your worthless and did nothing to help. That your words meant nothing to me, because they meant the world, they were the difference between my destruction and my return from The Darkness." she pleaded as she squeezed her friend's hand tightly and brought her into another hug. "Thank you Alix. Thank you." she repeated with Jati soothing care that she could feel her friend relax a little ans knew that she was on the verge of tears.
Marlene curled into Luke very tightly with his arms wrapped around her like a shield. She felt so safe, even though she was fighting bits and pieces of The Darkness, Luke and Magnus' love for her made it easier for her. She felt so grateful to them and would have to find a way to thank them afterwards. Her face was no longer buried fully Ito Luke's neck, but she was still breathing on it since she had laid her head on it while he combed her hair and talked softly as she listened. Her back felt better as he rubbed it and Magnus too at some point though she didn't know why other that to help because she still wasn't listening it paying any attention to anyone but Luke. She gasped at some point and felt The Darkness back off. And was very relieved, enough to totally relax, as she closed her eyes and made sure her body had been right. And relaxed past her normal point when she felt confirmed what her concussion had been telling her. And now she felt so very thankful to Alix for helping her sister defeat her battle when she had been rendered incapable. But felt the pit of her stomach drop a little when she realized what that meant for Alix and how she would have to suffer afterwards as she dealt with the pain of seeing her sister in a such a horrible state. Sighing she tired to stay relaxed and knew that the boys would roll Alix.
Magnus smiled gently. Wanting to make sure neither girl took his and Luke's, because he knew that he too would've been angry because of how close he was to the twins, hidden.
((Nice posts guys!!))
Luke felt hurt and sadness and he knew something was wrong with Alix, but he focused on Marlene, knowing that Alix would want him to make sure she was okay first and foremost. He was glad when he felt the relief in Marlene and though he had been listening to the other's words he had been speaking softly to her until he felt her get better. He continued to stroke her hair and then decided to add to the conversation that Magnus and the two friends were having. "Yes, that is true for them. It's much different fighting someone else's bad thoughts then fighting your own." he said with a slight smile as he felt his sister's dejection and wondered what had happened. "It's a different feeling... feeling a friend or family member's pain as I'm sure you know and we all happen to be very emotionally sympathetic to one another." he explained. Alix was especially victim to this, even if she didn't show it, she always felt other's pain with a fire which she blocked out until it was too late. Hence the reason she occasionally got sick or felt physical pain after seeing people in pain, it was like her body automatically wanted to understand other's pain and sorrow. He hated that she had to be put through that, he did too to some extent, but he rarely got sick because of it. He understood that Sara was just a more bold type of person, sort of how Alix was when she stopped being shy, he didn't blame her for her speech, he knew she meant well.
Alix hugged her friend back and listened to her explanation, her 'mask' unfortunately refused to leave at that point, she knew that if it did she would break down. She now knew that she had helped, but the fact that her own darkness had taken grasp on her so fast made her feel just as bad as she had before, but this time even more at herself. She softly nodded and smiled, but Gwen kept on going... her mask began to slip off and she bit her now quivering lip as tears came to her eyes and she looked down at her feet. She felt suddenly like the room was too hot and her cheeks were scarlet and her eyes stung from tears that threatened to fall. She covered her mouth with her free hand and let out a small gasp before crying for many reasons. Those reasons were that she needed to let out the hurt and anger she had felt in overwhelming amounts, she needed to deal with the fact that a little part of her had more control over herself in a whole than she was comfortable with She desperately needed to hear the words that Gwen had just said, and as Gwen said them she realized that she had believed all of those horrible things to her core and it scared her. She had believed that she was worthless, that she was ridiculous to open up, that she wished she could leave and stop the hurt, that she almost had. "I'm so sorry." she whispered through silent, other than the occasional gasp, stinging tears. She let her friend hug her, but she was tensed and locked up because after she let herself take her mask off she felt all of the hurt reach her outside appearance and she wanted it to stop, but it wouldn't.

Ennelin took a deep breath as Sara asked her question. She could tell that there was still a lot of things they didn't understand about their friends' relationships, and might never fully comprehend. But at least they were willing to explain as much about the situation as they could. 'I suppose that does make a lot of sense. Thanks for explaining it to us. We really do want to understand so we can help or something.' she said. She was half glad that Sara had asked the question for her. She wouldn't have dared to, and she would probably have never known the answer in that case. 'Sometimes we can feel each other's emotions. But rarely. Only if it's very serious or strong feelings.' she said, in answer to Luke's explanation.
Sara was relieved that her question hadn't caused much damage. It had answered the important question that both she and Ennelin had in their minds, so that was good too. Sometimes it was just better to get it over with, she thought. 'I see. Yes, thank you for the explanation. It's really helping us to understand the situation.' she said. She glanced at Marlene, who was still not really focusing on anything except perhaps Luke, and felt sympathetic for her. She had rarely felt Ennelin's pain or sorrow, except for when and after her mother had passed away, so she knew it was hard to handle.

((Good night! No problem, I'm sorry for not posting earlier.))
((That's fine. I'll answer now and then you reply in the morning. Byeee!!!))
((Guten Nacht Elizabeth!!))
((It's okay Marietta, truly it is. There's never a need to rush such a good RP as this one. Plus all our post are super long and well written.))

((Thanks. And yes, I do like how you guys write well. Some of my other RPs have really bad grammar and spelling. I have to think really hard to figure out what the other person is trying to say. ))
((Welcome! And thanks as well. It's true. Plus sometimes grammar and spelling must be put aside because it's the content that matters. Yes all of that of that stuff counts too and is important, but so does the message.))
((Yeah, but I mean the people who also don't write good content as well. But most of the plots are good, so I continue the RPs))
((Thanks! My mum used to proofread things, so she notices those kinds of small things, so I notice those kinds of things too!))

Ennelin shifted on the couch awkwardly as she felt a sense of shyness linger around the room. Why in the world was everyone blushing? She could tell that they were feeling embarrassed. Looking at Gwen, she guessed she was thinking of her old friend, Enzo. She felt sorry for Gwen since she was the only one in her dorm who didn't have a nice guy with her. She smiled at Luke's comment and trying to lift the mood, said cheerfully, 'Oh I love chocolate chip cookies! Then I guess all of you like to cook and bake? I like to bake bread and desserts too, but I don't really like cooking. Whereas my friend here, really just likes to eat.' As she said this, she cast a glance at Sara, making sure that she wasn't having a mental breakdown, as she usually did when she was in situations like this one.
Sara had a brief moment of panic when everyone went silent. It reminded her of all those times that she had been alone, with no one to talk to when she needed advice, and nobody to give her advice or support when she needed it the most. She felt like everyone had abandoned her all over again even though they were all still her friends, and still there in the same room. Relief rushed over her when Luke broke the silence and Alix started talking with more confidence. Sara had been worried that she had done something wrong or said something that had hurt her friends. 'Yes choc chips are the best! And of course I love to eat. Why, it's a matter of survival!' she said in a shocked tone. 'I've heard of bird's nest soup. I haven't drank it before though. But I know a lot of people do. Knowing what it is, it actually doesn't sound so bad. And what is pork fu?' She didn't mind the topic of conversation being food. She did like trying delicacies and sometimes considered herself a food connoisseur and critic. But she really didn't eat that much and she was quite slim.
