Before I post our next poll, I thought I would see if anyone had any suggestions for our next book. Is there a book you've wanted to read? Plan on reading soon? Think would be a good fit for the group? If so, reply here or email me and I will add it to the list for our next poll. Thanks!

I know the Great Deluge would take me awhile to get through because of its length, but I vote for that one! I'm a public school teacher and I'm very, very interested in New Orleans' education system now that it has lost all of its traditional public schools.
I voted for Antietam and I know how expansive that read is because I already started it a few months back so it will take me forever to read (heck I literally just finished presidents club! Lol). But I'm game for any of them!
Thanks for the feedback! Make sure to register your vote in the poll at the bottom of the page. I'm fine with any of these books as well, but I want to make this as democratic a process as possible. Thanks!

The poll doesn't show in my mobile client, but I'd be happy to read anything Ellis. His lectures were a college highlight for me! :)
Ashley wrote: "The poll doesn't show in my mobile client, but I'd be happy to read anything Ellis. His lectures were a college highlight for me! :)"Ashley, apparently you can only access the poll from the main site. Which is annoying. Goodreads needs to make their site a bit easier to use.
I recently finished reading Mau VanDuren's "Many Heads and Many Hands: James Madison's Search for a More Perfect Union." The book explores Madison's international influences to write the Constitution, and sheds light on the origins of the virtues and rights Americans value so much. I'd love to know what fellow history buffs think.
Are there any other Caro fans here? I've read the first three in his biography series about LBJ and am getting ready to read the 4th, The Passage of Power. Would love to discuss it if anyone else is interested.
