Ah that. Most of the time for me when I'm done with the first draft, I read through it again and clean it up/add a few small things. When edits come in, I modify based on what my editor wants. Every once in a while I go back and reread scenes from the tiger books and cringe thinking how I could have written it better but that's usually just copyedit stuff like using the word wonderful twice in the same paragraph. I don't really consider adding more scenes. That's just my process though. You need to find your own groove but at some point you have to let a book go and hope you guided it enough that it can find its own way in the world. ;)

Good to know that. I have always love egypt mysteries and their mummies too, i'ts kind of really fascinating. I look forward to read your book.
I'm really glad to have a chance to meet you. I've been waiting for this a very long time ago. I think you will enjoy Rio, it's a wonderful city and the weather here is really hot. Take a time to go to the beaches, if you can. See you soon! :D

In the case of the mummies my editor decided. I pitched them 6 different ideas and that's the one they chose. I was actually hoping to head into sci-fi next =)

I'm excited to go to Rio and other cities in Brazil. I'm not a huge beach person but I'm going to visit one anyway.

Trudy wrote: "When is Tiger's Dream going to be out? Can you say what it is about?"
I can't really say what it's about except to tell you that you don't really know the story of Tiger's Curse without it. I will go back to writing this book when I'm done with the Egypt series.

Yes Anubis and many of the other gods will make an appearance in Recreated. The language comes from some pages photocopied from and Egyptian glossary used in a college course. It functions as a sort of Egyptian/English dictionary. It's not very easy to decipher which is why I use very little of the language.

Trudy wrote: "Are you already working on Recreated? Which is your favorite type of mythology to write about?"
Recreated is done! The novella is done. Starting on book three now. So excited to reveal the Recreated cover on the fall YASH! I love all mythologies. I wouldn't say I have a favorite, though I do gravitate more towards Asia since they incorporate dragons ;)

I have not been to the MET and I really, really hope I get to go someday! So far that is the only museum I reference in the series.
