Haymitch is a lot different in the first book then what was portrayed in the movies. Peeta is also strangely absent?

Also, lmao, I made a comment here apparently that I really don't like the other tributes and how snarky they are. I also prefer the movie in the sense that Rue is the reason for the revolution almost - I'm a sociology major I look too hard into things but still, her whistle was used in the films even after her death and I just - everything seems a bit more 3D in the book.

Katniss doesn't understand kindness or weakness. She actually thought Peeta's crying was a strategy of his, and couldn't guess why he was helping Haymitch out! Wow, this girl.

Sad how she threw the baker's cookies. He was just being nice . . .

Love how Peeta threw Haymitch's glass! And Katniss pulled out a knife! That was cool. The drunkard deserves no respect, really.

There were some things about the ending that bothered me: (view spoiler)[ I didn't understand why the Gamemakers had to turn the dead tributes into Muttations. It was disturbing. And I wasn't pleased with the characters' body alternations when the Games ended. How they padded her chest, or how Peeta had bled so much he got a fake metal leg fixed. (hide spoiler)]

Good point. But at the end of the book, when Katniss and Peeta were both about to eat the night lock, but then games ended. That was a good rebellion attic. And when Caesar Flickmamn asked it it was for lme be or rebellion, and Katniss said rebellion.
