I just finished The Wrath and the Dawn and I absolutely loved it. The book was everything I wanted in a book. It was murderous, romantic, gripping, with a touch of magic. The touch of magic in the story surprised me because I didn't know it was a fantasy novel and it popped up in the strangest times. My favorite character in the novel was hands down Shahrzad, she was funny and quick with her words. I can't wait to get my hands on book 2.

Overall I really enjoyed this book. It is very well written and beautifully told. I enjoy that it is a new type of romance that we have not seen yet and a very unique story a love that forms. My favorite character is Despina. I find her to be very funny and a little boisterous. I think that her and Shahrzad will become very close and will support each other. I really like the Aladdin twist on the story. I wonder if the name Jahandar is suppose to be a take on the name Jafar?

I absolutely loved this book! The cover is gorgeous. I thought that it was so well written.

I was finally able to read this book!! Ugh & it was so good that I can't wait for the next one! I hope Shazi & Khalid's romance blossoms even more & am curious to see how the magic carpet will play out in this series. I absolutely love this book!

I liked the Rajput but I disliked his end. I disliked that I couldn't stay interested in the story. I loved Shazi and Khalid and their entire plot line. I also really liked that Jalal didn't hit on Shazi.

-What surprised you about the story?
That Khalid's uncle (the Sahbran?) wasn't the actual bad guy!

-What character did you relate with the most?
I related mostly to Shazi and, to a lesser degree, Khalid.
-What do you hope will happen in book 2
I really, really hope that there is a happy ending for both Shazi/Khalid and Jalal/Despina!!!!!!
