Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments I recently finished Global Domination for Beginners and what a great book it was!

Will's characters are wonderful. People I really enjoyed getting to know. The book's theme is very thought-provoking as well.

A solid five stars.

Kevin Marsh | 616 comments Hello Patti,

I read Will's book Global Domination for Beginners recently too and my review agrees with yours wholeheartedly.

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments Yay, Kevin!

Loved the ending. Won't say more as I'd hate to spoil it for anyone.

The hat thing was great, too.

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments Yes, I thought it was pretty good :)

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments Have you reviewed it, GL?

It doesn't have many reviews yet.

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments I don't do reviews anymore. Of anything. I have got totally sick of the avalanche of demand for reviews for everything and anything. I swear we will be asked for reviews of breathing next! I got my hair cut last week, and I got a text half an hour later asking me to review it. I used a website last year, and I still get emails asking me to review the site. Its out of control!

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments I only get review requests from booking.com.

You have no idea how lucky you are.

This is a REVIEW of Gingerlily's message 6 :
'An interesting short essay, 86% of a drabble in fact. The subject is reviews, but she is too ambivalent. She doesn't say she doesn't like reviews, per se, but she doesn't like the requests for them. It's a bit like saying she likes eggs but hates chickens. Eggs can be eaten voluntarily without ever seeing a chicken. Reviews can be written voluntarily and requests can, and should be ignored if you believe they put you under some moral obligation that you could do without. If that is her message, I give the message 5 stars.'

Ah! Just testing! So you READ reviews, but don't write them -the height of successful laziness! That's a bit like my mate Will Shakespeare, got Marlow to write his plays for him.

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments I thought Bacon was involved somewhere...

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments Bacon?

Where bacon?
