Caramel Cat and Katniss 2

Alright. Looking forward to your response. But if you don't feel like you can respond or don't want to, take it easy. :3

Leo couldn't believe that Ryu could actually break a metal fork with his teeth it was crazy. He had always known his teeth were sharp, but never imagined them to be that sharp. It was unbelievable to him and he didn't know anything about this. He remebered how the two if them used to tell each other everything and now he knew nothing about him anymore. He realized he had been staring at him for a while now without even realizing it. Eating his cake he began to regret everything he kinda wanted him in his life again.
"So Ryu how are you doing in school? I'm sure it can't be as bad as Leo."
Leo glared at his mom, "Mom!"
"What? It's not like you making bad grades was a secret."

Ryu looked up at him when he noticed that Leo was looking at him. It wasn't that new that he bit through forks, he had done it before in front of him, though it wasn't metal. It hadn't been that bad since he got older and for some reason, his teeth liked falling out again. Then new ones came in and they were stronger. He blinked a few times, looking at the fork and sighed, starting to eat again with it, trying his hardest not to bite through everything again.
He looked up, nodding. "I'm doing well in it...." He said, "I'm getting high B's and A's." He said looking at Leo who was now upset because his mother said that he had bad grades. He couldn't help but laugh a bit, "You always did that in school..."

"Only if you were more like Ryu honey."
Leo found himself blushing when Ryu snickered at him. His mother always seemed to embarrass him all the time. He ran a hand through his unruly hair pouting slightly, "Yeah, yeah." He remebered at he had always made good grades with ease. It brought back memories of him always helping him study and he realized he really missed that.

"I keep it because I need a scholarship to be able to go to the college of my choice." He said with a shrug. He had a small smile on his face. "I want to go for basketball, but I don't know if that's how it's going to work out." He said, rubbing the back of his head, but he kept eating, finishing with the cake he had, not going for another one, even if he would want it.
((We are doing basketball, right? Or are we doing soccer? O.O))

Leo let out a laugh, "Whatever you could totally still go to could totally go to college to play soccer. Well, if you still play as well as I remember." He flashed him a teasing smile before he finished off his cake. Maybe Ryu was right he had been going at this the wrong way, but he knew it was going to be a long time till he forgives himself for hurting him all for nothing in the end.
((It's soccer hun.))

"Yeah, but I need to have my academics up so my teachers will treat me better than some jock. I mean, how would that work out for me?" He asked, looking over at him, raising an eyebrow. "Plus, there's no way I'm going to need a backup besides soccer, in case I don't get into professional."
"Oh, you're going to go pro! You know it!" Jay said to him, pushing her brother a bit. "And you should eat another piece of cake, even a sliver."
"I'm not going to in case someone else does. Manners Jay...." He muttered, hanging his head. "This is our house, guests are first." He muttered to her so others wouldn't hear, but it was obvious he was scolding her about it.

Leo knew that Ryu was right soccer wasn't always going to be there. He hated thinking about the future when soccer wasn't his priority anymore because he didn't know what to do since it wasn't like he was smart. He looked over at his sister who had cake all over her and quickly got a napkin, as he began to wipe Ana's mouth and hands. She was such a handfull at times.
"I have work in the morning and Ana is about to passout, so I think it's time for us to leave." Rose stood up smiling and picked up her little girl. " it was a real pleasure to eat at your house thank you for inviting us."

Ryu got up quickly, "Please, let me walk you out." He said, just like he always did. He was such a little gentleman, well, a big one now. He smiled at her, "Would you like to take the rest of the cake home as well?" He asked, knowing if she didn't, that he was going to take it. He had a nice smile on his face as he walked them towards the door. He had hope that he was going to get into soccer, or at least something that was soccer related. It was his passion, how could he not at least try? He could even become a coach. He didn't care as long as he was around it.

Leo looked a little flustered, "Kick some ass at the game. I'll be watching, so see you later Day. Ah, and sorry about ealier." He quickly made his way out the door before anything more could be said. This time he didn't want to screw up, so he left without another word. He was scared for something more to happen between them. Running away was what he did best at anyways.

He looked over at Leo, his eyes wide as he nodded. He had a huge smile on his face, giving him a thumbs up, "I'm not going to lose this! Not Nationals!"

His mother then smacked him upside the head, "What did I tell you anourt cursing?"

Ryu was smiling as he waved goodbye to them, shutting the door behind him. He reached up, gripping onto his shirt as he leaned on the door. He let out a sigh, looking up at the ceiling.... He still loved him.... He still did. He closed his eyes, walking into the room, shrugging his shoulders. "Alright! Game day!"
~~
The day was warm and cloudy, making a shield so they didn't get murdered by the sun. Ryu was stretching along with his team mates, looking at the four he was the closest to. He winked at a few of them, then over at Kade. "Hey, I heard Leo is going to be here."
"Keep your head in the game." Kade said, patting him on the back. "You can't get distracted like last time you thought you saw him."

Ryu nodded, "Yes!"
The guys got up and got into their normal positions, the game starting with Ryu kicking the ball off. The game was fast paced, it was close, and both teams were amazing. They fought tooth and nail and ended up at half time with Home (Ryu's team) at 12 and Guests being 11.

He didn't though, he skid to a stop right next to Leo. "Hey!' He said, but, then something hit him.... "I want to talk to you." He said, hand on his hip.

Ryu turned to look at him, wiping tears away. "It's nothing." He said, "Let's just go celebrate."

~
The next day he was standing at Ryu's front door beginning to feel nervous. He had practiced what he was going to say in his head. He was holding his little sister's hand since she had insisted on coming to see Mr. Shark Man again. He quickly rang the door bell with his other hand behind his back. This was it he was going to have to tell him everything and how he felt.

"Damn it. Ryu, I need help." Kade said, looking over at him as Ryu sat up, taking the computer from him and looked at what he was working on. He was fixing up the soccer winning pictures, he couldn't get the picture with the right edits. Ryu started typing away on it, fixing the pictures quality.
He did hear the knock, but he didn't get up to answer it, Jay usually did that since she was always downstairs. And she did. She skipped to the door, pulling it open and her eyes widened when she saw Leo. She stiffened a bit, "Oh, Leo." She said in a bit of shock. "Please come in." She said, looking at the wall where there was a huge hole in the wall. It was Ryu fist size and it was very.... very deep.

He rose his eyebrow, sighing softly as he pushes himself up and walks over to her, rubbing her head. "help Kade out, will ya? He can't get those photos to look good, and you're the artist." He said, patting her back.
She nodded, fidgeting, their eyes locking and he knew exactly who it was. He tensed, hesitating before going out. Kade was about to get up before Jay gave him the look that told him to sit down and leave them alone, that they didn't need another fight.
Ryu walked down, his hair tied back, it was getting longer. He rubbed the back of his head, pushing hair from his face. He stopped about five feet away from him. "Hey."

Ana giggled before running over him an gave him a hug, "Mr. Shark Man!" She was glad to see her big friend again.
"I also wanted to see you too." He pulled out a bouquet from behind his back shoving his other hand in his pocket, "I bought these for you because I want to make up for everything. And I- I... you know."
She tugged on his pant leg before whispering, "Big brother is trying to say he loves you Mr."

Ana eyes brightened up at the idea, "Yeah! I want to play here!"
It's pretty ugly and have surgery in the morning since the doctor couldn't pop thumb in place.
