A Little Life
question
Jude and JB
Linda, Jude is realizing, slowly but surely, that JB isn't a friend and never had his (Judes) best interest at heart. In fact, no one in this book really cared anything about Jude unless they could benefit from him. That non-forgiveness was a turning point, Jude is seeing that he is living for them, and they've all abused him in some way, and he decides to live only for himself, like the rest of the characters, and he leaves them forever. A beautiful book, my favorite of the century thus far!
