No one seems to be reading this series with the exception of Suzanne and I, although I'm behind.

Neither of us voted for it, so I'm wondering where are the 19 people who did. One voter isn't a member so I'm curious as to how he voted!

It's ridiculous that we have a series read voted in by the very people who aren't bothering! I could be reading my series nom.

I've read all 6 books so far, I usually read a Drenai novel during the first week of each month.

But it seemed like several people are lagging behind, so I was waiting for them to start a discussion. vOv

And 19 isn't a lot...I suppose they could be busy with other things. Especially since this is the third place winner?

Ah yeah could be. I'd love more discussion, but this is a series I've wanted to finish, so I'm glad I'm reading it anyway :)

Suzanne, I'm halfway through Malazan 4 then I'll read the current one. I've decided to skip the last as I've read it previously and want to catch up!

I didn't vote for it but sometimes I vote for something because I want to see what people think about it in case I decide to read it in the future.

This is the most activity the series has had! I didn't vote but have been reading as it won. It just felt dead.

this happens quite often with the longer series, unfortunately. If anyone has ideas of how to screen out people who don't intend to r ead the series, please let me know!

Yeah, this tends to happen with book clubs.

Personally, I'm not reading the series, but I have read a lot of the series in the past (I never read the Druss books, though). I don't feel like I remember enough details to initiate discussions, however.

I just wondered where others were, went and checked the voters and within the first few I checked was a non-member, a non-fantasy reader and (I guess) got really cross and had a moan!

No ideas for a solution really. Obviously, no one should read a series they don't like or have read just because it's a winner.

Hi I've just joined the group as i have just started the drenai saga and was looking for people to discuss with im about half way through legend and only started at the weekend absolutely loving it so if the rest are like this ill soon be up to date and will be able to join in discussions. Hopefully everyone will still be willing to discuss earlier books even though further on in series. I've previously only read ghost king by david gemmell but loving his writing style.
