Marie (naturechild02) Would you be willing to read a short book of poetry?

I write sci-fi and fantasy but all I have published at the moment is erotic romance and this book of poetry.

Brittany Willows (brittanymwillows) I've got a science fiction novel I would love for you to read and review! ^-^ Set in the midst of a galactic war waged between the United Nations Planetary Defense and the Drocain Royal Empire, the story is told from both alien and follows an unlikely team as they embark on a journey to uncover the secrets of the planet Calypsis.

Here's the full description from Amazon . . .
-
It’s the year 2438. Ten years ago, an ill-fated encounter on a mining world triggered a devastating war between the United Nations Planetary Defense and an alien organization known as the Drocain Royal Empire.

With no sign of a conclusion in sight, and with mankind’s very existence at stake, the men and women of the UNPD have been forced into desperation.

When Corporal Alana Carmen stumbles upon an encrypted communications device, she learns that there is more to the conflict than a simple war-for-worlds, and to uncover the truth, she must make allies of those she once considered enemies.

And now, the fate of the entire galaxy may rest on the shoulders of a single alien warrior . . .

After being publicly shamed at his own Coming of Age ceremony, Kenon Valinquint enrolls in the Drocain Royal Empire in the hope of one day redeeming himself. Unbeknownst to the young Drahkori warrior, this decision has set in motion a staggering chain of events that could very well change the direction of the war, and the known history of the universe, forever.

Wonderful!

Before I send off the email with the book, I would just like to confirm: is your email stm162012@gmail.com, or is it sim162012@gmail.com? You've written it the first way twice, but the original post has the latter address. :>

Here's the blurb

Sadie is over it!

She’s an orphan, her boyfriend was murdered, and she’s the only Caelian at St. Vincent’s without a Talent. Once she turns 18, there will be no place for her in the world. That is, until a chance encounter with Kian, a Caelian boy who makes her feel uncomfortable and alive at the same time.

Secrets of her past are uncovered and Sadie’s latent, rare Talent is exposed. With great power comes the hunters, hired by an egomaniac who wants to use Sadie’s power to establish Caelian dominance. On the run with Kian and her friends, Sadie will have to decide: hide or fight.

Will Sadie accept her new reality or will she stay lost?

Hi Stephanie,

Thanks for offering to read and review these books. Much appreciated!!

I've put dropbox links to both books as well as links to their Goodreads and Amazon profiles. Feel free to read/review both or just one. The shorter one, "A Shadow in the Moonlight" is a prequel, but is a stand alone story in its own right.

GR profile: http://bit.ly/1Hjzf01
Amazon: http://amzn.to/1HZUbda

"The Thirteenth Hour" is the novel following the events of the story above, though you don't need to have read anything before reading it.

Trailer: http://bit.ly/1e5XP95
GR profile: http://bit.ly/1BmUihN

Both are young adult/new adult fantasy stories. If you want to learn more about these books before reading them, just go to http://13thhr.wordpress.com for more info, blog posts, pictures, etc.

Thanks in advance!! Let me know if you have any questions or if you have issues accessing the dropbox files. I can send the pdfs thru email in that case.

Cheers, Josh

Hiya Stephanie!
I bet your swamped with requests at the moment, but if you have the time I'd appreciate it if you could do a quick read and review of my newly self-publish, YA, Post-Apocalyptic story "Survivors: Secrets". I've posted a link and description below :)

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B011...

***
Lacey Young is a survivor. So is her sister, her best friend, and all the other young adults they share a hotel with now that the world has ended.

Lacey Young is a leader. That’s why when the lives of her crew and the people she loves become endangered, she must go against the odds and fight to take back what is theirs.

However, with secrets and betrayal as common as the grains of sand that smother the landscape, what once appeared to be a big problem threatens to become a tragedy. Blood is spilled, friendships are tested, and all the while the lurking threat that’s responsible for sending the world into chaos is closer than they all think.

Lacey has a secret. A secret she’s been repressing and hiding from those closest to her. It’s a secret that she knows can help save her friends and bring back some small semblance of peace.

But at what cost?

Kylen (kylengartland) | 7 comments Hi Stephanie!

I'm looking for review for my new children/young adult novel. It debuted a little less than a month ago. This is an animal adventure coming-of-age novel meant to be enjoyed by readers who loved Erin Hunter, Kathryn Lasky or David Clement-Davies.

The Messenger by Kylen Gartland Ameliora is a young gray wolf struggling with a disturbing recurring nightmare. In this terrible dream, she is pursued by a beast with horrible fangs who kills her each night just as she awakes from her horror. She tries to cope with the troubling scenes but is not completely able to hide it from her fellow pack mates. Most of them offer support, but some think she is just trying to avoid her duties.

During a hunt, a beloved motherly figure entertains the group by retelling an ancient myth of a dark-hearted wolf who bonds with the spirit of chaos and corruption to create a half-mortal that terrorizes the wolf world. In response, a pure-of-heart she-wolf bonds with the spirit of peace and unity to battle the evil beast.

Haunted by this story and how it might relate to her own nightmares, Ameliora slowly begins to discover her true character—and even her true purpose. As a prophecy comes to light, Ameliora feels the pull to venture out to answer an inner calling—and comes face-to-face with her destiny.

Filled with mystery, intrigue, and heroism, The Messenger is a rousing adventure from the opening page to the last.

I can provide a digital copy immediately! I am more than happy to do a review swap!
