" Hmm, I gotta go now Steph, my mom is here, bye Ricky, bye Steph," Gia says as she headed towards a car with a woman inside of it. Stephanie said goodbye to Gia and then she turned back towards Ricky.
"Ok" Ricky says to Stephanie. "When are you going to leave?"
" I walk home, so I can leave when I need or want to, but I don't really want to leave at the moment so I'll leave when I need to," Stephanie replied.
"Well maybe I could walk home with you." Ricky said.
" Sure, I guess, if you want to," Stephanie says.
"Yeah. Why dont you lead the way." Ricky said. He stood next to Stephanie.
Stephanie blushed, " Oh yeah, this way," Stephanie says leading the way.
Ricky walked next to her. "Is your house far from here?" He asked.
" No it's not that far, it's just a few blocks away," Stephanie replied.
"Okay then." Ricky said. He reached for Steph's hand but stopped himself.
Stephanie felt Rickys hand brush against hers, she made a real brave movement and she reached for his hand.
Ricky held her hand and squeezed it a bit. He looked over at Steph.
Stephanie blushed a little bit but she looked at Ricky.

Stephanie smiled lightly, she looked up, her house was only two more blocks away.
"Where's your house?" Ricky asked.
" it's just two more blocks away," Stephanie says.
Stephanie smiled on the inside, yet she was very worried that Her Uncles and her father won't approve of Ricky.
Ricky and Stephanie arrived at the door. "Should I go now?" He asked.
" Umm, if you want to," Stephanie says as she looked at Ricky.m
"If its okay Id like to hang out some more." Ricky replied.
" Yeah, that's okay," Stephanie says, she was about to say something else when the door opened to reveal her dad, she groans.

"Hey stephanie." Danny said. He looked over at Ricky. "And who is this?" He asked.
"Im Ricky." Ricky said.
"Well nice to meet you Ricky." Danny said.

"Sorry that I'm late dad, Ricky and I were walking home together," Stephanie says as she slowly let's go of Rickys hand.
Danny noticed that they were holding hands and decided to talk to Stephanie about that later.

"Would you like to stay for dinner, Ricky?" Danny asked.
"Yeah, let me just ask my mom real quick." Ricky replied. He stepped outside and called his mom.

Stephanie looked at her dad, " Please don't embarrass me dad, and please don't make any stupid comments, I really like him dad," Stephanie says as she watches her dad and Ricky.
"Dont worry Steph. I got this." Danny told Stephanie.

Stephanie mouthed thank you to her dad, DJ walked in with Steve, " Hey Steph," DJ and Steve say, " Hey guys, This Ricky Barlow, from my school, Ricky this is my sister DJ and her boyfriend Steve," Stephanie says introducing the three.
"Hey." Ricky said, giving them a little wave.
Danny walked into the kitchen where Joey was cooking.

" I'm going to go upstairs for a minute, I'll be right back Ricky," Stephanie says as she heads towards the stairs. " We'll keep Ricky company Steph," Steve says, "oh goody," Stephanie muttered, she smiled at Ricky and she headed up the stairs, " You like her don't you Ricky?" Steve asked, DJ nudged him, "Steve!" DJ says.
Ricky smiled a bit. "So what if I do?" He asked, not looking at them.
" You got to make a move man, you can't spend all year hanging out with Steph until she gets a boyfriend and your standing off to the side saying to yourself 'oh I wish I had asked out Stephanie before'," Steve replied, DJ rolled her eye, " Don't listen to him Ricky, just make your move when you feel it's right, okay?" DJ says,
"Okay." Ricky said. "I just met her today."
" Yeah, right, but she's been in your mind since day one you saw her," Steve says, DJ nudged Steve.
Ricky shook his head. At what he didnt know.
" Oh here comes Stephanie, umm, let's go see if they need help in the kitchen Steve," DJ says, she and Steve disappeared. " I knew I shouldn't have left you here with them," Stephanie replied as she saw them go into the kitchen.
"No its fine. They seemed nice. Especially Steve." Ricky joked. He smiled a bit at his joke.
" Yeah, Steve is a real sweetheart," Stephanie says, meaning it, she sat down on the couch, " Wanna sit down?" Stephanie asked, her dog Comet came up and sat himself on Stephanie's lap.
"Yeah." Ricky said sitting down again. He pet Comet. "Who's this?" He asked. Comet licked him on his face.
" This is Comet, our dog and my best friend," Stephanie replied as she petted Comet.
"I thought Gia was your best firend." Ricky said.
" She is, Comet is my real best friend though," Stephanie responds.
