Tina Seward (tinamatt) I'm looking for a book I read a few years ago, and it's driving me nuts!

It was a Christian romance, written by a woman. I think the author originally intended to write a three-book series, because there were three women in the book who were friends. Two of them got their own book but the third one did not.

In the book I'm thinking of, the woman got involved with a man. I believe he was a Christian and she was not. Towards the end of the book, the heroine is kidnapped and the love interest finds her and rescues her. She commented about her captivity that she hated every minute of it, but could see how God had used it. I believe she was taken because of something that the man was involved in (a crime he was investigating, or mysterious events happening that he and she were trying to figure out.)

To the best of my knowledge, this was NOT a Dee Henderson book. It was also contemporary Christian, NOT historical fiction.

Tina, around what year did you read this book?

Can you tell us more about the early part of the book - what's likely to be found in the publisher's description?

Who is the woman and her love interest? Job, age, background, personality, etc.?

What the location - U.S./country, big/small city, region?

Tina Seward (tinamatt) I would have read this book about two, three years ago. The woman and her love interest would have been somewhere in their mid-20's to mid-30's. The location was in the US, and for some reason, I think Minnesota, although I could be wrong.

For the life of me, I *cannot* remember very much about the early part of the book. I suspect that it would be labeled Christian suspense or Christian romantic suspense.

You mentioned Dee Henderson. Is the hero or heroine in law enforcement? What do you remember about their jobs?

Tina Seward (tinamatt) I think the hero is in law enforcement.
