why book on Amazon but not here?

It used to be if it had an ISBN it showed up here.

Why would this book not already be on Goodreads?

Maybe it just hasn't been imported yet.

Or because no one has added yet while waiting for the amazon data feed cycles to run and import it.

Or because the publisher hasn't uploaded it to the onix feeds that goodreads (and sites/stores without amazon data feeds) also uses to obtain book data. Or the publisher has added to the onix feeds but the onix feeds, like the amazon data feeds, haven't cycled through yet.

Pretty much any goodreads member is welcome to add any missing books or request a librarian to add for them.

The publication date indicates it was only released seven days ago. Maybe publisher/author didn't send out any ARC copies or press releases where anyone would know it was releasing and might have added it here.

Okay, Thanks Scott and D.A. I've manually added plenty of books but I'm too lazy to add this one, for now anyway.

I just thought since it's been on Amazon for quite a while and the publication date has passed, and I know the book is out, I just thought it would automatically import. It does have an ISBN.
