I am loving Wicked, but want to know if the next book,Son of a Witch, is worth buying. Please tell me, as none of my friends have read the books. Thanks!

I have read Wicked, but not Son of a Witch. However, my wife says it is not quite as good as Wicked. After reading Son of a Witch, she was not even interested in reading the third book in the series.

I kinda liked son of a witch. If you try to see it as a different book altogether from Wicked it's ok. I didn't even know there was a third book, I probably won't read it though; son of a witch was ok but will never be one of my favourites.

Mary Brady I liked most of Wicked but the last 3rd became just too whacked out, in my opinion, although I would love to see the show.

It is not quite as good but well worth reading if you enjoyed Wicked.

The only book of his that I haven't been able to make it through is Lost. Much too slow....such a change from some of his other work.

I did not like the Son of the witch it bored me but i loved book 3 and wicked. i think u should read it bc u might like it especiallly if u are interested in continuing the series. I have a friend who loved Son of the witch and we go back and forth all the time about who is right about this book.

I loved Wicked, but found Son of a Witch a bit disjointed and didn't like the characters that much.

Son of a Witch just meandered forever. I didn't think I would ever reach the end of it. Wicked was interesting but by the time I got to Son of a Witch it just felt like he didn't have anything left to say, now that he could no longer depend on the movie to give a base outline.

Son of a Witch wasn't as good but A Lion Among Men was excellent. You can probably read book 3 without reading book 2 and not really miss anything. I haven't read book 4 yet but its on my shelf.

Wicked is one of the few books I have ever read that I truly did not enjoy. Therefore, I have no desire to read the next.

Son of a Witch has some good points. I HATED A Lion Among Men - it does clear up some plot issues in the other books but to me it was full of characters who wallowed in their own misery.

One of these days I'll read book 4.

I really liked son of a witch and the one after. I have read the whole series and enjoyed them immensely.

I found Wicked to be overall very dense and detailed. It's long-winded at times, the characters have deep, well-developed personalities, and the plot is extraordinary. Son of a Witch followed in Wicked's footsteps nicely, and while they aren't my favorite books ever, I think they work beautifully together.

I loved Wicked but I also enjoyed Son of a Witch. I actually got to meet the author in person so that may have swayed me into liking all of his books. The author is fascinating and I loved hearing him read his excerpts from his books.

I loved Wicked but found Son of a Witch lacking and boring.
