Zach chuckled softly," okay well come on I'll show you." He said watching as Isaiah knew where they needed to go.. "Just follow Saiah." He told Lucas with a grin Kingston chuckled," Well this is nice." He said resting his head against hers as she settled against his side," what all are we going to be doing?" He asked
Lucas chuckled and nodded. "I'll do that." he said, following the little boy but still staying beside Zach. Lucas ran a hand through his hair as they went and looked around. No way he'd be able to play putt putt anyways. Too tall. Key shrugged as she opened her eyes again. "I don't know. It's your turn to come up with ideas anyways." she pointed, poking him playfully in the side. Keyleigh smiled at him and sighed softly.
Zach chuckled softly as he watched Isaiah," Daddy we pay here?" He asked looking at them and Zach nodded," yes we play here put your ball down and show Lucas how you play." He suggested Kingston looked at her," no I'm pretty sure it was your turn." He answered opening his eyes up and wiggling away from her reach. "Bad." He muttered," what did we do last time we were together?" He aske
Lucas smiled, watching Isaiah. He was adorable. A pain occasionally but he often made up for it. Lucas smiled at Isaiah and shifted on his feet. Keyleigh sighed and looked up at the sky as she spoke. "We played air hockey at the arcade then you had a ping pong tournament with a couple of strangers." she answered, cocking a brow at hm to see if he remembered.
Isaiah swung at the ball with his little plastic club and laughed as the ball didn't make it too far from where it started. Zach coughed hiding his laugh a little bit;" good job Isaiah." He said," alright Lucas your turn."

Kingston nodded," Ohhh right I remember now." He answered ." Well we can go to the movies and watch that show you wanted to drag me to." He replied," or we can go swimming at my house." He listed off," okay volleyball or just take a walk around the park."
Lucas grinned. He sighed and took his turn not making it much farther than Isaiah did. "Your turn, Zach." Lucas said, tapping the little club against his leg. Key squished her mouth to the side as she thought. "Let's go to your house." she answered, looking up at him with a bright smile. "I have clothes at your house." Keyleigh said.
Zach took his turn and tried not to get it too much farther ahead of the other two. "Alright Isaiah your turn." He said smiling. Isaiah nodded and took his turn managing to hit all three of the balls.
Zach chuckled," Well Isaiah you are supposed to hit your ball not mine and lucas'" he commented
Kingston nodded," Yeah okay then let's go back to my house." He replied getting up and then reaching down to help her up as well
Lucas watched and laughed softly. He let his club dangle from his hand, the piece of plastic not even touching the ground. "Now what am I supposed to do?" he questioned raising a brow. Keyleigh stood with his help then bent over, grabbing her blanket. She shook it off and folded it up, tucking it under her arm. "I have to drive my car to your house so I'll meet you there." she told him as she got her keys out.
Zach chuckled," Just hit it into the hole." He answered pointing to the end of the lane. Kingston nodded," Okay then I'll see you in a bit." He replied walking off to his car after making sure she got to hers alright
Lucas chuckled and nodded, going to his little golf ball and hit it. The ball barely made it to the hole, slowly making its way into the hole. "Made it!" he announced happily, feeling childish but he didn't care. Kayleigh wiggled her fingers at him after she started walking to her car. She got in and set the blanket in the passenger seat, turning on her car. Key started towards Kingston's house and parked in the driveway.
Zach smiled as he watched Lucas. He was glad they could at least get out of the house to help Lucas feel better. Zach understood what it was like to just about go nuts in one spot. He laughed as Lucas made his announcement. "That's great now watch I'm going to completely miss it." He replied laughing a little ad true enough Zach hit the ball and it went right around the hole," told you." Kingston grinned at her and drove off towards his house knowing that she was right behind him. He parked in the garage and waited for her on the porch," what took you so long Key?" He asked
Lucas smiled as he knew it didn't matter really how he acted with them. This was how he always wanted to spend his time. "Go for it." he said then let out a laugh. "You'll get it next time." Lucas said to Zach with a smile. Key stuck her tongue out at him as she walked up. "Shut up." she said, playfully pushing him in the shoulder. Keyleigh ran a hand through her white hair and but her lip. "Go. Open the door." she said to him.
Isaiah was laughing and hitting his ball around as Zach nodded a little bit," alright sure." He replied chuckling a little but this time making it into the hole. He didn't mind playing this game with Lucas and Isaiah it was something fun for all of them to do and it was entertaining for Isaiah. Kingston laughed and nodded," Fine fine I'm opening the door then." He answered grinning at her as he went to open the door," After you milady." He said with a playful bow
Lucas smiled at the man he had fallen in love with then looked over at Isaiah. "Having fun?" he asked the little boy although it was obvious that he was. Lucas tapped his little club against his shoe and looked around happily. Keyleigh kissed his cheek as she passed by him. She had never thought about what they might look like to other people. Key and Kingston were only friend but some people may think otherwise because of how they acted together.
Zach laughed softly as he watched Isaiah. "I think he is." He muttered," do you want to keep letting him hit the ball until he makes it or do you want to move on to the next hole?" He asked looking over at Lucas. Kingston grinned at her and followed her into the house. "We are going swimming right?"
He asked not caring at that point who was looking at them. He could care less what others thought about the two of them as long as they knew what the other was thinking it didn't matter to him
Lucas shrugged. "Whatever. Either way, it doesn't bother me." he said. Lucas took a deep breath, shifting in his sling. He smiled at Zach and chewed on his lip, moving out of the way as another little family went through. Keyleigh nodded and went to his room. She knew she had some extra clothes and a swimsuit in his dresser somewhere. After searching through a few drawers, she finally found her suit and went back out. "I'll be out in a minute." she told him the went into the bathroom.
Zach nodded," Alright then come on Isaiah let someone else have a turn." He called softly and then smiled as Isaiah came running over to them. "Come on."He said reaching to hold onto Lucas' hand.
Kingston nodded and grabbed his swimsuit from his closet as she fished through his drawers. He didn't really care that she wet through his clothes she had stuff in there too. He sighed softly." Okay well I'm changing right here."
Lucas smiled and took Isaiah's little hand in his, letting him lead him around. He was probably going to quit his job at the mall and start watching Isaiah again if Zach would let him. He would find a way to get through it all. Key changed quickly into her suit and pulled her hair back into a messy bun, her dark roots showing. She folded her clothes and placed them on the sink before leaving the bathroom and knocking on his bedroom door. "You ready?" she asked him.
Isaiah smiled and walked around with Lucas glad that he was back with him. Zach watched them and grabbed Isaiah's free hand as they walked around to the next hole. Zach didn't mind that they had gotten a few strange looks he was with two people he loved and didn't car what everyone else was thinking about them. Kingston changed quickly and tossed his clothes on his bed before grabbing two towels from his closet and then putting a little sunblock on his skin. He looked over at his door," it's open and yes I just need you to please put some sunblock on my back."
Lucas smiled at Isaiah and playfully lifted him off the ground a few inches as they walked. He glanced up at Zach and gave him a smile as they approached the next little hole, oblivious to the looks people were giving them. Keyleigh opened the door and nodded. "Alrighty." she said, taking the sunscreen from him and pouring some onto her hand. She rubbed it all over his back, making sure she had got it all into his skin before wiping the residue on her exposed stomach.
Isaiah laughed and looked up at him," again again." He said. Zach chuckled softly," Ohh dear look at what you have started Lucas." He teased softly Kingston smiled," Thanks key." He said with a grin. He turned around once she was done," Alright ready to go down to the pool?" He asked
((I had an idea!))Lucas laughed and shrugged. "I don't mind." he said and did it again as Isaiah had requested. Lucas liked seeing the little boy smile and laugh with him.
Key nodded, brushing loose strands off of her forehead and started to make her way down with him. After reaching the pool, she dipped her toe in the pool. Key let out a giggle and pulled her foot back out. "It's too cold." she said to him.
((What is it?)) Zach chuckled," I know you don't mind it." He replied," Isaiah loves it when you are around." He answered as Isaiah giggled and looked around," Woote woote you hit the ball?" He asked pulling on his hand
Kingston laughed," You always say it's too cold.. So are you saying you aren't going to swim with me?" He asked putting their towels down
((What if one of Lucas' friends' comes forward and says he has feelings for him? Or maybe one of Zach's ex's come back?))Lucas looked down at Isaiah and smiled. "Yes, I can, buddy." he said. "But you should go first." Lucas prompted, leading him forward again.
Keyleigh shook her head teasingly. "Of course not. Why would I swim with you?" she said playfully, sitting on the edge and putting her feet in the water.
((Ohhh I could go for either of those ideas... Sorry I'm not on much I am back in school.)) Isaiah nodded a little bit and put his ball down and hit it. "Otay it your turn woote." He told him. Zach smiled watching them not really caring that Isaiah wanted all of Lucas' attention right then
Kingston laughed as he just stood beside her shaking his head," Because you love me and you picked coming here." He replied before jumping into the pool. "Besides." He said after surfacing," It feels nice in the pool."
((Which do you like most?))Lucas watched Isaiah and gave him a smile. He took his ball from his pocket and put it down, leaning over and hitting it as well. His didn't go too much father than Isaiah's. Lucas looked over at Zach and smiled. "Don't worry. We haven't forgotten you." he said playfully.
Keyleigh brought her arms up as he jumped into the pool. She gave him a mock exasperated look. "Fine." she said then slid down into the water, hugging herself. "It is cold, you're just crazy." Key told him, moving around slowly as she got used to the water. Key had always been sensitive to the cold so whatever someone thought was lukewarm, was probably cold to her.
((I don't know either one is a good idea)) Isaiah giggled." It nest to mine woote!!" He exclaimed happily. He was super excited about everything
Zachary chuckled softly," it's alright I didn't think you guys would forget about me." He answered hitting his ball and making it farther than both of the others
Kingston laughed a little bit," it's not the bad Key." He told her," you are just a princess." He teased her softly. He smiled at her," you'll be alright once you move around a little more."
((You are impossible.)) Lucas nodded at Isaiah. "Yeah, it is, bud." he said then watched as Zach took his turn. "Your daddy is being a showoff, Isaiah." Lucas accused with a smile, having tons of fun with them.
Key stuck her tongue at him then ducked under, coming up with a gasp as the cool water completely enveloped her. She pushed back loose strands of hair off her forehead and looked over at Kingston. "Better?" she said with a smile.
((Sorry but I just got an idea to add to yours Isaiah's mom comes back ad wants to be apart of Isaiah's life?)) Zach laughed softly," it's not my fault I'm tons better than both of you." He replied looking at Lucas more than the jittery kid between them. Isaiah giggled," daddy dood at evryting." He commented causing Zach to laugh harder and nod," He's right I am."
Kingston grinned at her and then nodded," Yeah now I'm better." He replied looking at her still grinning," Are you still that cold?" He asked frowning just a little. He didn't think it was that bad," I mean if you are still really cold get out so I don't get blamed for getting you sick."
((I like that idea.)) Lucas laughed and shook his head. "Prideful mech?" he teased, quirking a brow as he leaned his club against his leg to run his hand through his hair. Lucas smiled at Zach and picked up his club again, tapping it against the pavement.
Key looked up at him and gave a slight shake of her head. "No. I'll be alright, Kingston. I just had to get used to the water." she told him. Key started moving throughout the pool. The was an even 5' the entire length. Key swam through the water, going under and popping up beside Kingston.
Zach grinned at him," yes I am." He replied chuckling a little bit as he looked at him. Isaiah giggled," Tome on pay not talk." He begged looking at the both of them. Zach laughed softly," Okay okay we will talk later munchkin." He told his son Kingston nodded a little bit," okay as long as you are alright in here and not getting too cold." He told her as he swam around and then he laughed seeing her swim over to him," are you better now?" He asked
((Okay. I am not into this part of the Zach/Lucas story.))Key nodded and pushed her loose, wet hair from her from her forehead. "Yeah." she answered him, smiling at him. Key then attempted to splash Kingston, pushing water in his direction. As soon as she had done the deed, she disappeared beneath the water to avoid retaliation from him.
((Yeah I'm not sure where else to go with them anymore)) Kingston laughed softly and watched her," Alright then I just worry because you are always cold." He replied then laughed softly as she splashed him and swam away. He shook his head and swam after her so he could get her back
((I think something needs to happen between just the two of them. Like maybe Isaiah is away at grandparents or a daycare or something and the two of them really let out how they feel since Isaiah isn't around.)) Key stayed under the water for as long as she could before coming up with a gasp. As she treaded the water, Key knew the fight was over seeing as Kingston was basically right in front of her. Key knew she couldn't have someone better as a best friend. Kingston cared about her and was always looking out for her. Key tried to do the same in return but often forgot trying to take care of herself.
((Alright that's a good idea.. Maybe he could have a play date or something like that)). Kingston knew that Key would have to come up for air soon so he just waited for that to happen. Once she surfaced he grabbed her with a grin," I've got you now!" He said laughing. He was always looking after his best friend no matter what was going on around them. A lot of the time people probably thought they were more than friends but that didn't bother him at all
((Thanks. Would you like me to start?))Key squealed and laughed, squirming in his arms. "No!" she said through laughter, kicking water up all around them. Key put her hands on his chest and pushed as she tried to escape. She was glad that things like this didn't feel awkward to them. Sometimes she saw friends in positions like this and it got so painfully and obviously awkward.
((Yeah go ahead ))Kingston laughed and shook his head," I'm not letting you go." He answered still laughing even as she splashed and squirmed around. This was the best part of their friendship. They could be themselves with each other and not worry about what the other person would think about them
Lucas shoved his hand through his hair as he walked up the way to Zach's front door. Zach had called Lucas, telling him that Isaiah was going to be friends house for the day. With him out, Zach had asked him if Lucas would like to spend some time with him. Alone. Lucas had agreed and was honestly a little nervous as he raised his hand to knock on the door. Key fought him for a moment longer before just giving up. She wrapped her arms and legs around him, looking up at him with a smile. "Fine then. If you won't let me go, you'll just have to swim around with me." she said to him with a triumphant smile on her face.
Zachary looked around his house after cleaning up a little bit. He was a little nervous about having Lucas over without having his son around with them to keep everything going. He looked towards the door and then walked over and opened it," hey Lucas." He said moving out of the way so he could come in Kingston laughed and held her tight," Well now who has who?" He asked looking down at his best friend. " I can deal with having you around all the time." He teased her
Lucas gave a slight smile and went inside. Now that he was here, he had no idea what was going to happen. It had seemed like a good idea when Zach had called him but now, it didn't. But, he guessed that being alone together at some point was required if they were actually going to move any type of relationship along. Key smiled. "Good. Cause I'm not going anywhere." she said. This is what she loved. Hanging out with her best friend, bantering with him playfully. Just hanging out with him in general. Key had been friends with him for so long it all she could remember.
Zach smiled back just a little bit. "Well." He said softly trying to think of something to say. He was so out of the game because he hadn't been looking for anyone until Lucas had walked into his life. But still he wasn't sure what he wanted all he knew is that he liked having Lucas around with him. Kingston laughed and hugged her a little bit," This is my favorite part of the day." He said. He often thought he took Key for granted but he tried not to. He loved his best friend a lot and didn't want to let anything happen to her
Lucas almost started laughing at how weird it was. "God, this is so much more awkward than I thought it was going to be." he said with a soft chuckle, rubbing the back of his neck. Lucas had nothing better to say. He was used to Isaiah running around and getting himself so worked up over the fact that Lucas had come over. But right now, the house was quiet.
Key's smile softened and she hugged him back, resting her head on his shoulder. "Mine too." she told him. Key hoped that they stayed friends forever, no matter what happened to them. She continued to hug Kingston quietly. Anyone who saw them probably thought they were dating but Key had never thought about that in her life.
Zach laughed softly and nodded," I know." He answered agreeing," I don't think I've ever seen you without Isaiah running around the house too." He continued knowing he was rambling a little bit but couldn't help it. He glanced around for a second," Well we can stand here and feel awkward or we can go into the living room." Zachary suggested Kingston smiled a little bit more and squeezed her gently once," So what should we do now?" He asked looking down at Key. He was warm but he could tell Key's skin was getting cool to the touch and he didn't want her getting sick or getting cold
Lucas nodded. "Yeah. That's probably a better choice." he said but still stood there. He had been in this house, dozens of time but he felt like Lucas felt like it would be wrong or something if he went first. Lucas ran his hand through his hair nervously. Key shrugged lightly. "I don't know. I should probably check to see when Mom and Dad want me home." she said reluctantly. Key let go of him and swam over to the ladder, pulling herself out of the water. She rang out her hair as best she could and took a deep breath, feeling the sun soak into her skin.
Zach looked over at him and then nodded slightly," Alright then." He replied and turned to walk into the living room. He wasn't sure what else to say or even what to do right then. He and Lucas didn't normally have anytime without Isaiah running around them and if they did Zach was trying to get some work doneKingston watched as she swam away from him," well alright then." He answered following after her. He got up out of the pool and grabbed a towel and held it out to Key," here you are." He said softly wrapping one around his shoulders to dry off a little bit
Lucas chewed his lip and followed Zach. As they walked to the living room, Lucas abruptly stopped and grabbed Zach's arm. He spun him around and pressed his lips to Zach's. Lucas wasn't sure why he had done it but it felt good. They'd been stuck in some kind of phase for weeks because of Isaiah and now that he wasn't around, he felt like they just needed to get it out. Key took the towel from him, giving him a soft smile. "Thank you." she said, drying herself off. "Kingston, if my mom is at home tonight, can I stay with you? They've been fighting a lot recently and it scares me." she asked him, turning her eyes up to him. She wasn't why her parents had been fighting so much but it didn't make her feel safe at all.
Zach was just passing by the couch as Lucas grabbed his arm causing him to turn around. He had just been thinking of how to start something when Lucas started it first. Zach was slightly surprised by the kiss but soon got over it as he had been thinking about something like this for a while. He slowly and gently responded pulling Lucas closer to him Kingston looked down at Key and frowned slightly." Key you don't have to ask to stay over you can come whenever you want to." He replied sitting down beside her.
Key smiled and rested her head on his shoulder, watching as people walked by on a nearby path, some people glancing over at them. "Yes, I know that." she assured, closing her eyes briefly as the sun warmed her skin.
