Zach looked over at him and shrugged a little bit," I suppose but you are having fun talking with Isaiah." He answered softly

"That much is true." Lucas said as he wiped his mouth of chocolate then sighed. "I don't think I can eat anymore." he said with a chuckle as he sat back in his chair.
Zach laughed softly," good thing I didn't actually make dinner." He answered still chuckling softly
Lucas chuckled and nodded. He rested his hand on the table and shifted uncomfortable in the chair. He seriously hated the sling.
Zach looked at him," go sit on the couch and take the sling off for a few minutes while I clean up."
Lucas nodded and sighed. "Happily." he said then went into the living room. He carefully took the sling off then stretched out his arm. "That really hurts." he said to himself then just let his arm rest.
Zach watched him walk off to the living room with a small smile. He didn't know if he liked feeling like a lovesick teenager again but he wasn't going to let Lucas get away from him. Isaiah followed after Lucas like a duckling follows it's mother. "Woote why you hab to weaw tat?"He asked
Lucas looked down at Isaiah then patted the cushion next to him. "I have to wear it because if I don't, my arm won't get better. So I were it so my arm will heal. Just like Daddy wore a cast." he explained, smiling softly at Isaiah.
Isaiah climbed into the couch and nodded a little bit," ohh. Did your caw get mashed wike daddy's?" He asked looking at Lucas with big brown eyes.
Lucas shook his head. "No, buddy. My car didn't get smashed. I just got hurt." he said, ruffling his hair playfully. He didn't want Isaiah to worry about him.
Isaiah frowned thoughtfully. "Ohh what you do to huwt wike tat?" He asked carefully moving closer to Lucas as Zach walked into the living room and sat down beside his son not wanting to hurt Lucas if he was on the other side of him
"I just got hurt, buddy, but I'm okay. So don't worry, alright?" Lucas questioned, raising a playful eyebrow at the little boy.
Isaiah nodded a little bit and wanted to climb into Lucas' lap but dirt know if he could so be just sat as close to him as he could get. Zach watched the two of them with a soft smile. "What movie are we going to watch Saiah?" He asked
Isaiah pointed at Lucas," he pick."
Lucas smiled at Isaiah. "You pick the movie for me, buddy." he said, patting the little boy's back softly.
Isaiah nodded a little bit," Ohhh tan we watch dagon?" He askedZach nodded," yeah we can watch the dragons."
Lucas nodded at Isaiah. He ran a hand through his hair then rubs his arm.
Isaiah stayed sitting close to Lucas as Zach got up to put the movie in
"You can sit in my lap if you want, buddy. So long as you stay on this side." Lucas told Isaiah, patting his leg which Isaiah was closer to.
Isaiah smiled a little bit and nodded," Otay I tay right here." He said carefully climbing into Lucas' lap
Lucas let him climb up onto his lap then wrapped his arm around the little boy, tickling his stomach playfully.
Isaiah smiled and then giggled wiggling a little as he was tickled. "No woote."
Lucas smiled down at Isaiah. "No tickling?" he said, stilling his hand.
"No it bad woote." He answered causing Zach to chuckle softly. Zach sat down beside them and then started te movie
"How is it bad, Isaiah?" Lucas said, honoring the little boy.
"I not wike it." He answered like it was the most obvious thing in the world
Lucas smiled and ruffled his hair affectionately. "Okay, buddy. I won't tickle you anymore." he said softly.
Isaiah nodded and snuggled back against him with a smile. Zach smiled as he watched them," alright time for dragons."

Lucas sighed softly, turning his attention to the movie. He had gotten used to watching kid movies all the time.
Isaiah smiled and just watched. Zach had sat closer to the two of them than he normally would have but he wanted to be closer to Lucas
Lucas looked over at Zach with a soft smile. He somewhat felt like they might go somewhere together.
Zach smiled back at him and didn't do anything more because of having Isaiah right there. While he did really like Lucas he wasn't going to let Isaiah get his hopes up just incase things didn't work out with them
Lucas turned his attention back to the movie, listening as Isaiah laughed and giggled every now and then.
Zach leaned his head back and smiled listening to Isaiah giggle at some parts.
Lucas watched the movie with mild interest. At one point, he gently removed Isaiah and went upstairs to put his sling back on his arm then take some more medicine.
Isaiah frowned a little when Lucas left but he snuggled against Zach's side and then slowly went to sleep
Lucas sighed and took his medicine then put his sling back, just leaving his shirt off. He would shower in the morning and change his bandage then. Or have Zach help him with the bandage. .
Zach took Isaiah up to his room ad then went to check on Lucas. " hey Lucas are you alright?" He asked looking at him
Lucas looked up and nodded. "Yeah. I just needed to get some mess and my sling back on." he answered. Lucas ran his free hand through his hair. "But thank you for asking." Lucas said.
Zach nodded a little bit," okay I was just making sure... Isaiah is in bed now so if you are going to sleep I would shut the door so he doesn't jump on you in the morning."
"Alright. I'll probably lock it too just in case." Lucas said with a soft chuckle. Lucas gave Zach a slight smile through his pain. He was gladZach was letting him stay or he would be a lonely person.
""Okay you can go head and do that too if you want... Isaiah normally would leave you alone but he's a little excited." He answered," go lay down and get some rest okay." He said softly
Lucas nodded. "I'll see you in the morning." he said, getting up and walking over to the door. He watched Zach go then locked the bedroom door.
"See you in the morning." He answered nodding a little bit. Zach smkled a little at him and then walked off to his room
Lucas sighed softly and sat on his bed. After a little while of just aimlessly looking at apps on his phone, Lucas laid back in the bed and closed his eyes. He pulled the covers over himself and slowly fell asleep.
Zach sighed softly as he got ready for bed as then checked on Isaiah one last time then went to sleep
Lucas slept a bit fitfully, fighting the pain in his shoulder and the sling but he woke up in the morning somewhat energized. He got up and slipped his shirt on before making his way downstairs.
Zach was already downstairs making breakfast. "Good morning." He said
Lucas gave him a lazy and tired smile then yawned. "Good morning." he said, running a hand through his hair.
"Did you sleep alright?" He asked looking at him. Zach smiled slightly at him and ran his fingers thru his hair making it stand up.
