Zach looked up from where he was playing with Isaiah. "You stay here buddy ill be right back." He said getting up and walking over to te door. Now he only walked with a slight limp but he was mostly back to his normal self. He opened the door," hey Lucas."

Lucas' mouth twitched into a nervous smile. "Hey. Um, I came over to let you know I took the job so I won't be watching Isaiah anymore." he said, running a hand through his hair then down to the back of neck.
Zach frowned a little bit," well good for you." He said softly," I know Isaiah will be sad you are leave and I will miss your company." He answered," come in."
Lucas went in and looked over at Isaiah. "Hey, buddy." he said in greeting, smiling at the little boy. He knew he was going to miss Isaiah and Zach. A lot. A part of him was afraid he would hardly ever see them anymore.
Isaiah looked up and grinned," woote!" He yelled and got up running over to him. Zach smiled a little bit as he watched them together
Lucas smiled and picked the little boy up. "How are you, bud?" he asked him, smiling at Isaiah. What was he doing leaving this little boy? Lucas knew he had no choice now and probably should've just told him over the phone.
Isaiah smiled and hugged him tightly," I was paying cars wif daddy.. Are you gonna pay too?"'he asked excitedly. Zach frowned slightly," Isaiah why don't you okay while daddy and Lucas talk?"
"Some other time, buddy." Lucas said, setting Isaiah down. He ruffled the little boy's hair then standing up straight again as he stuffed his hands into his pockets.
Isaiah frowned a little bit," but no."He said as Lucas put his down. Zach sighed softly," Isaiah later." He said then looked at Lucas," come into the kitchen with me"
Lucas nodded and followed Zach. "I can keep watching for a few more days. I don't start until Wednesday." he offered, looking over at Zach.
Zach nodded a little bit," well alright.. Do you know of anyone looking for a job that would be good with Isaiah?"He asked just half heartedly.
Lucas shook his head a little helplessly. "No, I don't. I'm sorry." he said, dragging his teeth across his lip. A habit he had when he was upset.
Zach nodded slightly frowning a little bit as he thought. He leaned against then table trying to think,"'You said you start when?" He asked
"I start on Wednesday." Lucas answered as he looked over at Zach.
Zach nodded slightly chewing on the inside of his lip while he thought," Okay would you mind watching Isaiah up until then?" He asked trying to think
Lucas nodded his head. "No, not all. I can watch him." he said. Lucas almost felt like a bad guy leaving them.
Zach nodded slightly," thanks.. I'll see if I can find someone to watch him I'm that time." He said quietly still thinking
Lucas nodded again and fell silent, running a hand through his hair. "I'm going to head home." he aid softly, turning to leave the kitchen, and his feeling for Zach, behind.
Zach came out of his thinking hearing Lucas's voice. He frowned a little thinking its now or never as he caught Lucas's wrist in his hand gently and moved closer to him. To Zach it seemed as if his body was moving on it's own without his brain telling it what to do. Once Lucas had turned around he kissed him softly and then pulled away," I - I - I'm sorry." He said letting him go and moving back
Lucas' eyes went wide and he froze. Zach had kissed him. He could've sworn he was straight. He had a kid but then maybe that was why Isaiah's mother wasn't around. Lucas looked over at Zach and bit his lip. "It's okay." he said back softly.
Zach stared at Lucas for a second not expecting him to say it was okay. He had been expecting something else he supposed. Zach nodded," I still shouldn't have done that," he said softly and yet he wanted to do it again.
Was it wrong he wanted to kiss Zach again? Wanting, all most needing, to show Zach what he felt for him, Lucas moved forward this time and kissed him, resting his hands on Zach's arms.
Zach looked back at Lucas just in time for him to see rhe other boy step towards him. He closed his eyes a little bit as their lips met again. He kissed him back gently
Lucas kissed him softly and pulled away a few moments later. He was quiet as he looked at Zach. Lucas loved Zach and he wanted him to know it. He bit his lip shyly and looked down.
Zach looked at him once he pulled away," Well." He breathed softly not sure what to do or say now.
Lucas wasn't sure what to say either. He should probably go home but didn't want to.
"Why don't you stay for a little while?" Zach asked wanting Lucas there a little longer.
Lucas nodded and smiled softly. "Alright." he answered Zach and took a small step away in case Isaiah decided to come in.
Zach looked at him. "Isaiah is busy if that's what your wondering." He said softly with a slight smile. " you know how he is when he plays with his cars."
Lucas chuckled softly. "Yes. He does like playing with his abundance of cars." he said smiling.
Zach smiled somewhat crookedly," yeah I know and I will be picking cars up for a week because I let him get all of his cars out."
Lucas laughed. "Well, that's what happens when you buy so many cars." he said.
Zach nodded," I know and I've tried to get rid of some and he knows... He knows every single car I've ever gotten him."
"He's smart." Lucas said, looking out the direction of Isaiah's homemade noises.
Zach laughed softly," yeah he is and lonely sometimes I think."He said on a more serious note
Lucas frowned. "Why? There's some with him constantly." he said. Lucas was typically with him while Zach was gone then he would stay for dinner before going home.
Zach looked at him," what I mean is he's missing something I can't give him... I know he's never really alone but sometimes when you leave he doesn't know what to do with himself."
Lucas frowned even more. He'd signed the contract, there was no going back. Lucas sighed and ran a hand through his hair. "It seemed like the best decision." he told him softly.
Zach looked over at Lucas," it's fine Luke." He said softly," I don't care that you.... Okay actually I do care but you have to do what's best for you not what's best for me and Isaiah I wouldn't ask you to give anything up for me."
Lucas sighed softly and ran a hand down his jaw. "I don't want Isaiah to think I'm abandoning him." he admitted, listening to Isaiah as he played. He was a sweet child and not seeing him everyday would be different.
"We will think of something to tell him." Zachary answered softly. "Besides we will have to see you sometimes."
Lucas nodded. "Yeah." he said, thinking for a moment then looked over at him. "Well, yes, of course."
Zach smiled at him," do you have some place to be tonight?" He asked.
((Don't forget the other ones :) even though I think this one and the wolf one are my favorites... Actually I really don't know))
Lucas shook his head, a smile on his face. "No. I was just going to go home and be lazy." he said with a soft chuckle.
Zach laughed softly," ohh well you can do that or you can stay here and be lazy with Isaiah and I.. We were going to watch a movie if you wanted to join us." He offered
Lucas smiled and nodded. "I'd rather be lazy with company." he said then sobered. "Zach, what are we going to do about... Us?" he asked, looking over at him.
Zach looked at him and shrugged," Well I was thinking that we could talk about that while Isaiah was distracted by the movie."
Lucas nodded. "Alright." he said in agreement then unconsciously sucked his lip ring in and toyed with it.
Zach smiled a little bit as he heard pattering little feet and the soft call of," Daddy whewe awe you?" "See." He said softly," I'm over here Isaiah." He answered grabbing Lucas by the hand and pulling him gently along with him
