Michael Brookes (technohippy) I've recently started posting featured books on my blog, you can see the latest here:

http://thecultofme.blogspot.co.uk/201...

I'm filling the slots on a weekly basis, if you'd like a book to be featured then post the reasons why here.

This can be a book you've written, or a book you've read that you feel deserves wider recognition.

Jim | 21812 comments Hi Michael
I wouldn't mind my book being featured. Reasons?
It's brilliant and I'm humble and unbiased :-)

But seriously I think that we could do with some readers putting forward genuinely great books for you as well, too many websites can have too many authors shouting 'buy mine'.
If you can get a nice mix, then I think you'll have got yourself a really interesting blog

message 3: by Michael (new)

Michael Brookes (technohippy) I agree, but if you want tomorrow's slot then you can pm me the text for the spot. You can use the example I linked in the original post as a guide.

message 4: by Michael (new)

Michael Brookes (technohippy) On my blog today the featured book is 'Tales of Loss and Guilt' by Ray Kingfisher:

http://thecultofme.blogspot.co.uk/201...

If you have a book that you'd like featured, it can be one you've read or written, then get in touch.

message 5: by Michael (new)

Michael Brookes (technohippy) Sure, pm me all the details and I'll post it in the next available slot.

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments Are you still featuring books Michael or are you concentrating on the interviews?

I suppose they're pretty much one and the same?

message 7: by Michael (new)

Michael Brookes (technohippy) I'm focused on the interviews and guest posts, but if anyone has a new release they'd like to feature then I'm happy to do so.

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments Coolio.

I'm glad I bumped this thread then.

message 9: by Michael (new)

Michael Brookes (technohippy) Thanks :-)

message 10: by Michael (new)

Michael Brookes (technohippy) A cover is ideal, but send me the details and I'll figure something out.

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments It doesn't seem to be on goodreads either.

That's odd.

message 12: by Kath (new)

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments The book's on GR - I reviewed it. I think I added it but I didn't have the cover so it's got the generic one.

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments Couldn't find it when I searched, Ignite.

Got a link?

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments You're clever. No idea why I opulent find it. Tried about four times.

Maybe her cover is a work in progress?

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments Opulent. Love autocorrect.

message 17: by Kath (new)

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments No, it's on Amazon. She didn't ever seem to get around to adding this book. So I did 'cos I wanted to review it!
I was basking in the euphony of opulent. Then you spoiled it!

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments Found the cover on her blog. You need to scroll down a fair bit.

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments I'm good at spoiling things. :)

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments Lol!

Not quite refresh.

I use that there 'unread topics' button over on the right.

Using it shows all the threads with the newest posts that I've not read yet.

message 21: by Kath (new)

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments Someone who can copy it off three could add it on here. But I can't.

A review would be cool.

Elle (louiselesley) | 6579 comments She has a cover now

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments You're lovely Peanut.

message 26: by Lexie (new)

Lexie Conyngham | 1297 comments Good heavens, I take my eyes off Good Reads for five minutes and all this happens! I'm sorry I've caused so much confusion - I think Kew said she'd linked my book to Good Reads but told me that for some reason the cover hadn't followed, and I thought 'Argh, technical thing I'll deal with later / delegate to someone in the house who understands' so therefore it never happened.
You're all lovely, by the way!

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments We do get up to some high jinx, don't we? ;)

Michael Brookes (technohippy) Fellowship with Demons (Murray of Letho) by Lexie Conyngham

Jaye's wonderful write up for 'Fellowship of Demons' has been posted:

http://thecultofme.blogspot.co.uk/201...

I'd like to post more of this type of thing so if you've read a book recently that you think deserves more attention then let me know.

Thanks Jaye!

Tim | 8539 comments If you're still looking for books, 'Wanted' has had brilliant write ups, it's got an awesome new cover on the ebook, and I probably owe you a paperback from Biggleswade...
