Been so busy with a work project I haven't had the chance, literally, to pick up the book...but will remedy that shortly! ;)

YES! From what I understand there will be a total of three books about Trevor Lawson. I adored I Travel by Night. :)

I'm just over 30% (view spoiler)[ in and I was not happy at first with the change of POV. But now I'm intrigued by what's going on with this Jefferson guy. (hide spoiler)]

I'm enjoying it too. It's reminding me of Swan Song also, but I'm definitely enjoying myself.

Passed the halfway mark, such a great fun read! If post apocalyptic scifi horror can be called fun! ;)

I finished it yesterday and ended up giving it 4 stars. I can't wait until you all finish so we can talk.

For Rune, (view spoiler)[ I hated the ending! I cannot stand when a deus ex machina saves the day and this one was a doozy. I mean it was nice to see everyone get their spouses and friends back and everything, but I felt like it was totally cheating. (hide spoiler)]

Rune: (view spoiler)[ I loved the characters too. It felt a little weird to me when Ethan passed away, (otherwise known as when the Guardian took over), because there was really no fanfare for the kid at all. I thought the story lost a lot right there, by not celebrating or mourning over Ethan's sacrifice..DO SOMETHING, you know?

I thought it was a good touch-creating a cure for cancer that humans never received because of their behavior. That touched me.

I loved the parts about the Gorgons and Cyphers though, those were super cool. How the Cyphers sort of buzzed in and out like that? Awesome. :)
