How can I fix this issue? It's a common name and so the two author's books appear under the same Good Reads profile.

You need to figure out if any of the other "John Richardson" profiles are for any of those authors and if so move the books.You can use the following link to work on it.

If none of them are for either of those authors then move one of the authors books to a new profile, differentiating it with a number of spaces that is not already being used.
There are a lot of John Richardsons. I moved the art guy to a new profile & sorted out a couple of historic ones, but the current single-space profile is a hodge-podge.
OK - that's really helpful - I actually know the coffee/golf John Richardson so know that's correct!
He should get his own profile then, if you know which books. It would have 5 spaces between the names. With this many authors, it's good to leave the single-space profile for the mixture.
