i read the series some 12-13 years before and it was a series of 7 or 8 in which the hero from another planet comes to our earth in human form who is a short man and to overlook him his superior officer comes to earth and he sees and hear whatever the hero does and will comment always like he is violating their rules and something like that and also hero buys a old gas guzzling sedan and with small tweaks he will made it to be a best mileage car,and his senior will try to hire a psycho killer who kills himself with his shotgun while cleaning.......
