Kyra sighed as she looked through the endless isle of books, trying to find something that fit her needs.

Ennelin walked through the library. She loved reading and was amazed at the size of the library.

Marlene had been looking for a new book to read. She had brought a stack of books with her, actually it was more like a suitcase full, but she hadn't wanted to look at those yet. She wanted to get to know the library and check out what books it had. Why else would there be a library other than to read and use as sources for a research paper??

Ennelin had a lot of books. When she had left home, everything had come with her to the academy. Her dorm shelves were bursting full with books. But she loved to add books to her to-read list. And libraries were one of her favourite places in the world. She was so focused on looking at the books that she bumped into someone.

Marlene had been reading the synopsis of a book she had found interesting, when she bumped into someone. The book fell from her hand and she moved back quickly. She looked up to find a blond hair girl with hazel brown eyes staring back at her. "Sorry" she said in embarrassment. "Probably shouldn't have been reading without watching where I was going."

'No I'm sorry! I always forget about other people when I'm in a library. I'm Ennelin Dawn. I just moved to the academy a few days ago.'

Marlene extended her hand and introduced herself, "Marlene Ravenwood. I'm new here too. Just arrived last week. Nice to meet you Ennelin." She wanted to get her book from the floor, but she had been taught to be polite and introduce herself when she meet someone new.

Ennelin shook Marlene's hand a bit nervously. She was the first friend she had made in the academy. Ennelin picked up the book and gave it to Marlene. 'This sounds like an interesting book. Do you like reading?'

Marlene grinned, "I LOVE to read. I could curl up with a blanket and a book for hours!" she answered excitedly. "Anything that is fiction and sounds good I'll read. But I have to like it enough in order for me to actually read it." she said as she took the book. "You?" Marlene asked.

'Yeah me too! I brought all my books from home to the academy - and there were a lot of them. I love fiction too. If I don't like a book I'll just stop reading it and read another book.' Ennelin replied eagerly. She forgot about her shyness. 'So what house are you in?'

Marlene grinned, she really liked this girl. "Me too!! I brought a whole suitcase full of books. I would've brought more, but my parent wouldn't let me and my sister had brought her own suitcase full, so we thought it should be enough to tie is down until Christmas break, when we can go home and bring some more." She looked around to make sure they weren't interrupting anyone, "I'm in Jewel. You?" she asked as she hoped that Ennelin was a Jewel as well, even though she hadn't seen her.

'Lucky...I'm in Wallflower.' Ennelin hadn't really met her other housemates and had hoped that Marlene was in her house. She wished she was in one of the other houses, but she knew she didn't have any talent.
'I brought pretty much everything I own with me, because our house was sold when my mum...uh, passed away. My dad can't take any of my things anyway since he has his own family now.' Ennelin had lost contact with all her old school friends when she came to the academy and really wanted to talk to someone about her mum's murder and her troubles.

Marlene frowned and nodded, "I'm sorry about.. your troubles. Aww. I was really hoping you were a Jewel." she admitted. "Well, that doesn't mean we can't hang out. That's if you want. I can always use a reading buddy." she replied with a smile. She could see that Ennelin didn't want to talk about her troubles, so she didn't ask.

Ennelin smiled back. 'I'd love to hang out. And I'd love to have a reading buddy too.' And I could use a friend here too... she thought to herself.

'Do you wanna hang out somewhere else?' She asked.

Marlene smiled, "If you want. Warning I'm still getting use to the school to, but I can find my way around if I need to." she said with a giggle. "But yeah, I'm okay with that. If we do, can I check out this book first?" she asked.

'Could we go to the cafe in town? I've wanted to go but I know I'll get lost if I go alone! I'm really bad at directions. And sure, check out that book.' Ennelin replied.

Marlene nodded and grinned. "Sure! I know my way other there fortunately. And yay!! Let's go down and go to the counter. Is there anything you want to check out?" she responded.

'Great! And no, I just checked one book out yesterday.' Ennelin said. She walked to the counter with Marlene.

Morgan walked in looking for somewhere quiet to study.

He didn't see Morgan when he was walking since he was cleaning his glasses and was blind as a bat. Mik accidentally bumped into her and instantly put his glasses back on and politely replied, "My apologize misses."

"Yeah no worrys." She said pushing her glasses back up on to her nose. She never really wore them she had always worn her contacts.

"Aha, I'm Mikolas," he smiled at her, "And who might you be?"

"It's a pleasure meeting you," he answered formally and bowed in respect to her.

"Same." SHe said the took his hand and shook it cause she was not gonna bow.

He shook her hand politely. Mik was overly formal with everyone and was mentally messed up due to the lack of having parents.

He puts his hand to the side and lifts it again to adjust his glasses which started sliding down his nose. "If you don't mind my asking, do you need some assistant finding a book or anything that I may be some help?" He asked.

"I dont know. We are psoe to pick a book and do an poster or powerpoint on it." She said she didnt listen in class.

"I dont know. What would you recmond?" She asked.

"I would recommend Beowulf for a English class. It is a short read, but you have a lot to work with," he answered.
