Marlene nodded, "Oh!" she exclaimed as we looked down at the shelves of books. She was like a kid in a candy store, she couldn't wait to read all these books. "Well, I read the Percy Jackson series in elementary school and O just finished reading the Virals series." she said.

Emma got up. "Comn i need you hight. Theres a book that i want but it is hihh." She said to JT and took his hand and pulled him to the fiction section.

"Okay what book?" He asked.

"5th wabe but it might be in the si-fi in sted. Lets go check." She said pulling him around the corrner and ran in to Brody with out knowing it was him. She was stil holding JTs hand.

"Em you okay?" He asked.

"Cool." He said as Emma bumped into him. "Sor...hey." He said noticing it was Emma. He looked at her's and the boys hands. He swallowed. He clenched his fists behind him.

Emma quickly let go of J.ts hand. "Uh hey..." she said looking up at him.

Jake looked at Brody then back down st Emma.

Marlene didn't know what was going on, but she could see the tension between the trio and knew it wasn't a good thing. She stayed quiet and stayed next to Brody, watching him out of the corner of her eye. When she saw Brody clench his fist, she put her hands on his and squeezed. She didn't want anyone to get hurt or something to break out.

Emma saw her take his and and looked away. Jake looked down at her again. She looked like she was aboit to cry to him. And she was.

Marlene followed Brody, she didn't want to stay with the girl and who looked like her girlfriend. That would've just been weird, so she speed up and walked next to Brody. She stayed quiet and caught up with him.

He walked out and leaned on the wall. He slid down in and sat down on the ground. He put his hands on the back of his head. How could he be so stupid?

"Uh i gotta go. Take my stuff back to my dorm along with Austins." She said and gave him a hug and rann after Brody passed Marlene. "Bro you okay?" She asked him in a low voice.

Marlene frowned at Brody, what had gone wrong? She had so many questions, but kept them to herself. She slid down the wall and looked down at the floor. She put a hand on his and patted it.

He looked at Marlene then at Emma. He didn't say anything. He didn't know what to say. He took his hand away from hers and put it behind his head and looked at the ground.

Emma lookdd at them both. "Never mind i know whats going on here... i think. I dont care though." She said and walked away as JT walked outta the library with there stuff.

Marlene looked at him with a frown, "Are you okay? What's wrong?" she asked carefully. She didn't want Brody to get mad or explode, but she knew that something had happened and it wasn't good.

"Mert me at my room." She clled back and ran off tears running down her face.

"She doesn't know what's going on. That's what's wrong." He said and kept looking at the ground.

Marlene was a bit confused, but said, "Yiur talking about that girl back int he library right? Was she your girlfriend at one point?" She wasn't sure what was going on, but she wanted to understand the situation so she could help him.

Marlene sat quietly and looked between JT and Brody. She didn't want to interrupt or anything, spa she stayed put and watched.

Marlene got up and followed Brody, she wasn't sure where he was going, but she didn't want to get lost again. If things got private then she would slip off into the library. But for now, Marlene would stay with with him.
