Emerson worked in the shop for a bit more, exercising her new ability by moving the bookshelves and tables around until it looked good. She decided she would decorate the next day, closing up the shop and heading back into the house. She hung up her cost and slipped her boots off, peeking into the living room to find Bones. "Hey," she greeted, climbing over the couch and sitting next to him.

"It's good; almost ready to get the actual stock going," Emerson replied, lazily draping her arm behind Bones and the other hand petting Copper. "That's a good idea; although I'd still like to have an open shop for the most part. There's an open area next to the barn that I could use to set up a walkway from the road- that way the driveway and house aren't in view or involved at all."

"Don't worry about that; the brand that she likes is owned by a guy that orders stuff in bulk from me. I can make a deal with him," Emerson replied, resting her head on Bones' shoulder. "As for herbs and stuff, I can get a lot from our land, probably, and order whatever else in that I need. I'll send a message to the person taking care of the old shop and ask him to send over my old bottles and stuff."

"Yeah," Emerson agreed, pinching her lips together in thought of how to take care of that. "Or I'll have him send it to someone we trust and ask them to bring or send it here." She snuggled into Bones and the couch, bringing her knees to her chest. "Or I'll just forego that and order new bottles."

Emerson froze when she heard what Bones said but relaxed when she heard his explanation. "Okay, yeah, that would be great," she said hastily. "It doesn't have to be anything big or conspicuous; just something cheap." She took a deep breath and looked up at Bones. "I thought you were about to say you wanted us to live separately again."

"I vote for putting it under a different name," Emerson said, wishing she hadn't made the no-kissing pact previously that day, since she was just happy he wasn't suggesting they split up. She relaxes under his hand and closed her eyes. "That way no one can trace it from that house to this, in the case someone finds that one. Or if this is found, we'll have a temporary backup."

"Sounds good." Emerson leaned back up and watched Bones in silence for a moment before leaning over and pecking her lips to his. "Whoops- guess you're just too kissable," she drones, wanting the bet to be over with even if that wasn't a really good kiss.

"More like possibly irresistible later. I wanted to get that over with so you don't have bragging rights for seducing me in my weakness," Emerson explained, snuggling back into the couch with him.

"Sure, go ahead and parade around town that your girlfriend lost the bet that she wouldn't kiss you for an entire week. She probably only lasted the time that she did because the two of you were separate most of the time," Emerson admitted, smirking under Bones' soft lips.

"Doubt you could have done anything to get me to lose," Emerson muttered, her smirk not fading. She arched her brows at Crispin questioningly. "If anything, I would have been the one to seduce you."

"What? You only don't know I'm good at seduction because I've never had a reason to seduce you before," Emerson murmured. "And besides, it's not like I've been sleeping around my entire life. I had a time between youngling and Kylist. You've never been able to seduce me before, anyway."

Emerson glowered. "I don't beg," she muttered quietly, although considering his words. "That's very..." She thought about it. "Considerate of you." She smirked and patted Copper.

"I think I would know if you were psychotic. I probably wouldn't be with you if you actually were," Emerson told him. "Not that I ever expected you to be pushy or anything." She sighed and ran a hand through her hair, once again annoyed by the length. "The first thing I'm going to do with the shop is fix my hair," she said monotonously.

"I'm sure there's something I can do..." Emerson considered for another moment before fervently shaking her head. "Okay, maybe not. There's a possibility of doing it wrong and losing all of my hair." She shuddered.

"Hey, I'd look hot no matter what. Hair is just a luxury," Emerson teased, a smirk lighting her features. She shrugged. "Probably a year. I was growing it out." She twisted her lips to the side. "Why?"

"I'm glad you like it," Emerson said between kisses, cupping her hand behind Crispin's neck. She made the kiss a bit more forceful before pulling away and eyeing Bones. "What exactly was your plan if I went through the week without kissing you?"

Emerson's eyes widened slightly, her cheeks turning faintly red. She made a flustered sound when Bones really didn't kiss her, and she huffed. "Well, good job, but I have a few tips for you in the case you ever actually try that when we're in a fight or something. First," she started, pulling slightly at her lip, "Instead of going in the buff, just don't wear a shirt around. That leaves a little to be uncovered." She winked. "Secondly, instead of telling me I'm beautiful, or in addition to, tell me that the following night I should wear whatever dress I own that you favor." She leaned closer in towards him and did a dramatic imitation of what she thought he would sound like British, instead of his actual voice, "'You look absolutely stunning this morning, darling. Tonight you should consider wearing the purple twirly dress.' And then wink with the little lip quirk thing you do." She gave an example.

"I figured I would toss in the accent so I didn't have to try for your real voice," Emerson explained. "And just because it's a dress you like doesn't mean it has to be a sexy dress you like." She frowned and pictured her purple dress. "The violet dress isn't even the sexiest dress I own." Her frown faded and she arched a brow. "Maybe I was; just suggesting some improvements."

"Ooo, saving the real thing for when you think you'll need it?" Emerson teased, sitting up to watch Bones stand. "Very smart of you." She smirked and patted the annoyed-looking Copper.

Copper quickly walked over to Bones and bounded down the stairs before him.
Bones shook his head slightly and turned on the light before going down after her.
"Okay," Emerson said, watching Copper then Crispin leave. She stood and stretched, deciding to go change into her pajamas just because she didn't feel like her current clothes. They had a bit of dust on them too, so once she had changed into shorts and a Tshirt, she tossed her other clothes into a laundry basket and dig through her backpack and Bones' to pull out their laundry from the trip, carrying the basket to the laundry room on the main level to wash them.

Emerson heard Copper lumbering up the stairs way before she saw her or Bones, and she set the basket atop the drier before heading out of the laundry room, switching off the light. "Is it to your liking?" Emerson asked Bones when she saw him, already figuring what he wanted it for.

Emerson's face grew red and she smiled, following after Bones. "Laundry," she answered, hopping up onto the counter in the kitchen. "I almost took one of your tshirts instead of this, but decided against stealing." She smirked and watched him get coppers food.

Emerson rolled her eyes playfully and tossed her bangs out of her face. "As I recall," she mused, resting her knees on either side of him, "You previously mentioned that what I'm currently wearing is sexy." She chuckled. "Unless you want me took change for you."

"Yeah- pretty sure you said that the first or second time we met," Emerson said, leaning back to rest her palms on the counter behind her, as she didn't mind him surveying her. "But which looks better: Your t-shirts or my pajamas?" she quizzed with a quirked brow.

"Huh," was all Emerson said as she hopped off the counter. "I'll be back in a minute," she threw over her shoulder as she exited the kitchen, a pre-pride smirk on her face. she made her way upstairs and stripped out of her pajamas and put them away, selecting her favorite shirt of Crispin's and pulling it on as she came back down the hallway. Her prideful grin didn't wan as she turned in a circle in front of Bones. "There ya go. Enjoy."
