Elizabeth and Giulia, sure let's do a third

"Ha, I wish my friend! But who knows, maybe we'll process their biometric information when we're there?" Guidon suggested optimistically. "That's as good as meeting them."

"Not quiet the same, but you're right in that's probably as close as we'll get."

"Across the hall sir." Ander didn't catch everything they had said, but what he did understand was ominous enough.
"Well this is my class. See you two," Luna said, waving goodbye as she broke off from the group.
((With these guys, should we skip to the application process at the end of the day with the Dr. Frece?))

After the last class finally let out Tyler headed towards Dr.Frece's office, still as excited about joining CAGE as he had been that morning.

The Insiders moved over to Ander's cell and slid the slot aside to peer at him. "Twins indeed," the man remarked. "This gives us leverage," the woman agreed. "I've changed my mind. Get started next week. I want them to stay in their cells a bit longer, so they know what's it like to be trapped without an option. That way, our offer will be more pleasing."
"Yes sir."
Guidon, Evelyn, Luna and three others were there already, discussing among themselves the opportunity before them. Dr. Frece eventually entered and saw everyone was present and so began.
"You all know why you are here so let me get straight to it. Here are forms you'll need to sign out for your respective placements. Kuiper and Vega, you two have the Polibureau forms. The CAGE forms for you two, and these for you..." he proceeded to give out all the necessary paperwork.

Tyler looked over the forms after Dr. Frece handed them to him. It was a lot of information but shouldn't take too long to fill out. "When do you need these back Dr. Frece?"

'Avery, did you hear that? I think they want to...see what we know. What we can do. Who knows what sort of technology these guys have - they could do anything,' Ander replied worryingly to his sister.
"Actually, if you could all sit and complete them right now, that'd be very helpful. If all goes smoothly, you could start as soon as Friday. I'll remind you, these work placements are seven days a week, though Mondays are half days," he replied to Tyler. Luna begin writing in her form - it asked for skill sets, preferred jobs within the placement, name, history, grades and family connections.

Tyler nodded, taking a seat at one of the desks and beginning to fill out the form. He knew it would be a lot of work but CAGE was the best assignment he could think of. He couldn't wait to start it. And the slim chance me might see the outsiders.....

"Great. Thank you Luna. And you Evelyn, Guidon," Dr. Frece said as the forms were handed back in, "you'll hear from me shortly. Tonight, if it's any one of your turns to use the Link, I suggest you search up your place of employment."
((Suggest fast forwarding both to the beginning of the work placements?))

The morning of the following Monday, three men went down to the prison block, two carrying biometric sensing equipment and one there to record the information. Ander started when he saw them through sleepy vision eyes, sitting up and alerting his sister with a mental call. 'They're carrying something I don't know...'.
Luna smoothened back her tight ponytail, wanting to look presentable in her school uniform. She straightened her shirt and pants before walking out of her room with renewed excitement and vigour. Once the routine breakfast was up, a hovercraft would pick up all the interns.

Ander passed out quickly as well and he laid unconscious as they repeated the method on him. "Her powers..." one commented. "What is the extent of the damage she can do?" the other agreed as they proceeded with the work. "When we move them to Level 3, we'll see," the first one replied.

She groggily pushed herself up, stumbling to the door. Ander? She knew that if he could hear her it would still sound weak.
Tyler was already in the breakfast room. He was both extremely nervous and extremely excited about today. He only got a little bit to eat and scarfed it down, counting down the minutes until the hovercraft would arrive to take them to CAGE.

"We'll move them up after lunch then," they agreed and finished up with the pair. The men left to give the information to Moira, the head of their department.
Guidon grabbed Tyler's shoulder, excited. "Hovercraft's landing. Let's go," he told his friend. The entire canteen looked at them admiringly as the CAGE members entered to escort the two of them out. Luna watched as there was so much solemnity to their proceedings, she'd probably have to take the public commuter.

((Earlier you said that they were waiting for a hovercraft as well ;)))

((Sorry, I don't understand what you mean?))
There was a man standing at the entrance of the hovercraft in a CAGE uniform who welcomed the two students in. "Hello," he began, holding his clipboard as he checked their identities. "My name is Raleigh, and I'll be your observer during your period with us."

I'm fine. She told him. My head hurts but otherwise I'm okay. What about you? Ander's plan might work but what if they did something like this to them again before they moved them? What if they just woke up in wherever they were being moved?

'I feel so useless. All we can do is sit and stare at the wall with our thoughts,' he responded to her, putting his back against the wall to straighten out his woozy mind and limbs. 'I'm going to go crazy without exercise or even a breath of fresh air.'

Tyler took in everything that was said as they were led into the hovercraft. His nerves were high as was his excitement.

Raleigh invited them into the waiting hovercraft and took his seat on the bench opposite to theirs. "I was an applicant like you for this apprenticeship you know," he began, "and when I graduated, they were happy to accept me. They always take one intern. It could be either of you." Guidon sat down and glanced at Tyler. Either but not both.

Tyler glanced back at his friend, wondering if there was any possibility they'd both be accepted. he didn't want to make this a competition, but he didn't ask. "What all should we be expecting? what will be expected of us?"

"These are your briefings," Raleigh said, handing over a sheet of paper to the pair of them. Guidon took his hungrily and scanned at their job description. "Over the course of the years, the applicants have continued to impress CAGE, so this year, you've got a good selection of duties. But first thing's first, a tour when we arrive, and I'll introduce you to the head of your laboratory department."

Tyler took the page and read over it. It was a lot. But he was confident that he'd be able to do it. He was still nervous overall though. It was the first day, of course he was. Tomorrow he'd probably feel better.
Evelyn was waiting near where Luna was, waiting for their hovercraft to arrive.

"We've got an...interesting project at the moment," Raleigh with a secretively knowing smile. Guidon wondered what he meant, but didn't want to ask as the hovercraft approached the courtyard. "Here are your IDs. Keep it on you at all times. And, try not to stick out." He stood and held the rail as he waited for the door to open.
Luna finally arrived with tight lips to the station, nodding to Evelyn briefly. "Will someone come to talk to us do you think?" she wondered.

Tyler wondered if that had anything to do with what they'd seen on the tv the other week with the Outsiders. He was too nervous to ask as well but glanced over at Guidon. This was really happening. They were here.
"Probably." She shrugged. "There's got to be someone who's going to tell us what we have to do. show us around."

Raleigh led the way off the craft, walking through the gravel courtyard onto the trimmed grass rim where some faculty members were taking a break. They all noticed the applicants. Raleigh showed his badge to the scanning machine before entering the slick white building and leading the way down metal and glass corridors. "In here, is our main attraction," he introduced, opening double doors with a green light lit next to it.
"What would we do apart from filing and scrolling down online archives all day," she murmured to herself as the public commuter arrived to its place. Many people hurried on, finding comfortable seats for themselves.

Main attraction. That had to be the outsiders right? That was Tyler's first thoughts as he followed Raleigh into the building, looking around and trying to take in as much as he could. CAGE. He couldn't believe it.
Evelyn shrugged. She wasn't sure. "i guess we'll just have to wait and find out."
((There's a group you should join that reminds me of this rp. I think I invited you. Edge vs. Pup. ))

"Green light means you may enter. Red obviously means the opposite," Raleigh began, walking on an elevated walkway circling in the laboratory below where many scientists were at work; number crunching, in vitro experiments, discussing their findings. "We should be starting at any minute," Raleigh told, then pointing to a man who stood by two metal beds, "and that is the doctor in charge. Dr. Herman."
The communter lifted off and stopped at many points before it was their return to descend. Luna got off and gazed upward at the tall, large and featureless Medibureau building. It was absolutely massive, and rather imposing. There was an impatient woman who noticed them.
"You two, from the compound. Hurry up," she called.

Tyler listened, looking at the different scientists go about their experiments. He nodded respectfully to Dr, Herman. "What's going to be happening?"
Evelyn raised an eyebrow at the tone but followed after the woman.

"Subject wary. Our orders are to transport them awake since the sedative might mess with the physiological results..." one told the other and he nodded. He closed the panel and opened the door cautiously, taking in the briefcase with him. Ander leaned against the metal door and watched to see what they were going to do.
Raleigh gave Tyler a sly smile and nodded over to the beds. "We've got two subjects coming in for some tests. I'm sure you've heard of them," he states vaguely. Dr. Herman then called for silence in the lab.
"You all know what to do when Subjects 1 and 2 arrive. Please prepare yourselves. Don your gloves and masks," he commands. "The quarantine for the Outsiders isn't over yet," Guidon told Raleigh who nodded. "Hence the protection," Raleigh indicated, taking them closer to the beds, still on the walkway.
"I haven't got all day to be training interns," she states, hurrying up the stairs and through the massive doors. She took them in an elevator and got off on the thirtieth floor. "This is your space, these two desks." The office was entirely open spaced, desks just lined like an exam hall. "These are your cards, computers and cabinets. Instructions are on the table." She then left them to their own devices. "Glamorous," Luna murmured, taking one of the desks.

Avery had no idea what he was carrying when he stepped in but knew it couldn't be good. She backed up into the wall, pushing them away from her.
Tyler swallowed nervously as the gear was passed out and he put his on. The outsiders. They were really going to see what the Outsiders looked like... He glanced at Gideon, trying to gauge his thoughts on this.
Eveylyn took the other, glancing over the instructions. Looked simple enough. Boring. But simple.

"Subject wary," he recorded into the little microphone on his lab collar. "We were told they must be transported without tranquillisers, lest it tamper with the physiological results of the tests," the other informed, opening the briefcase to reveal a complicated set of locks and covers. 'What are they saying?' Ander asked her not being able to hear clearly.
Guidon looked outwardly impressed and interested, but as he returned Tyler's gaze, he showed that he was also a bit apprehensive about the coming test. "What exams are you going to run?" he asked Raleigh who pointed to a big computer board opposite them, informing everyone of the testing schedule.
Luna took her seat and read over her instructions. She then went to her filing cabinet and looked at the types of papers she'd be handling. As with the Medibureau, she had the medical administration documents, for CAGE nonetheless. She had the first half of the alphabet, and she supposed Evelyn would have the other half.

I'm not sure. I really don't understand it. Something about tests. She pushed them away from her again, not wanting them to come near her.
((Not sure really what to post for Evelynn.))

'The case...it has a sort of lock in it,' he told her in response, pushing his powers to the limits to see through the thick metallic briefcase. The men opened and revealed a pair of handcuffs and began to approach her. "Do not hurt Subject 1," the other ordered.
Guidon read the board and found the usual biometric tests; blood sample, physical examinations, brain functions...he turned to Tyler and whispered, "What do you think they'll look like?"
((I was going to keep Luna and Evelyn's story line secret for the moment but I might as well tell you to continue the RP; I'm planning that they find out the government's secret intentions for the Outsiders view medical reports and movement plans and also find out more about what the government actually knows about the Outsiders, which is needed for Tyler and Guidon's storylines as well.))

Avery couldn't back up anymore, her back was against the wall. She wasn't exactly sure what that was he was holding but she didn't like it. She tried using her powers to take it from her hands and throw it across the room, also trying to shove them back away from them. She didn't want to go with them.
Tyler looked up at Guidon after reading he bored himself. "I don't know. I mean...we've all heard the stories but...I'm not sure."

Ander felt like she was about to use her powers and called out to her. 'If they take us both out of here, we might have a chance of escaping Avery...' He didn't want her to give up, but putting up a fight might hurt her and their opportunity later.
Dr. Herman then looking about with folded arms and a tapping foot. "Well, what's taking so long?" he demanded of his assistant. "Sir, they still have five minutes to arrive," the younger man insisted, trying to calm his excited leader. "Raleigh?"
"Here sir," Raleigh replied. "Whose that with you? The applicants?"
"Yes sir. Guidon and Tyler," Raleigh introduced, indicated to the two of them.

((There's a few not too far from where I live so hopefully I can work in one of those. ))

'If I remember well, they'd like to find out more about us...' he told her, watching as the men finally approached and latched onto her wrists, locking her into the handcuff. "Subject 1 subdued," the man alerted in his microphone. Dr. Herman heard it on his earpiece and nodded as he waited for the interns to make their way over to him. "Hurry up there," he ordered the two men. One took Avery from the cell and the other approached Ander's.

Glad now.))
Avery looked around a bit. It was the first time she'd gotten to see much out here. After a quick glance around she looked at her brother's door, watching as the man went into his cell. She was nervous, not sure what to expect next and just hoping her and her brother could get out.

Ander gave in without a fight, wanting to go where they were taking Avery. To his pleasure, he spotted his sister ahead as they moved through the white and claustrophobic corridors towards the testing room. All passers by steered clear of them and weren't afraid to stare. Ander saw the clothes they were wearing, the glasses they had, the machines they carried - it couldn't be further from what he was used to.

Avery gave her brother a half smile as she saw him, glad to see him but scared as to where they were going now. Looking at the people all around them it was all so strange.
When the two were led into where Tyler, Gideon and the rest were waiting, Tyler's eyes widened a bit as he saw them. He wasn't sure exactly what he'd been expecting.

"They look normal," Guidon found himself saying perhaps a bit stupidly. Raleigh gave them a look and then departed for the upstairs walkway, leaving the applicants with Dr Herman who nodded approvingly. "Take them to the beds. Stop staring everyone," he commanded, knowing it'd stress out the subjects. Ander began to tense when he saw the whole laboratory staring down at them.
"Do you think we'll get a chance to see the outsiders?" He asked, wondering what Guidon thought of it.
