My author page doesn't fan or friend link

Hello, My page doesn't have a fan, follow or friend link. Can someone help me get one? I'm pretty sure I had one before. Thanks!

Not sure what you are not seeing, but you have lots of friends & followers showing on your profile page.

Do you see the icon? I logged out and opened it without logging in and I still don't see it. Could it problem with my browser? I'm using Chrome on a Mac.

I do see the friend and followers, just not the icon for readers to add me.

I'm seeing the icon, can open up the side icon to compare books and such.

The "Follow Author" icon is there, and if you click the little arrow beside it there are options for adding as friend etc.

I just checked several other author's pages and they all have the icon beneath their picture. I'm not seeing it on my page. Should I contact Goodreads help? Thank you.

It probably doesn't appear for you because you can't follow/fan/friend yourself. But it's there.

Thanks everybody! If you see it, it must be there. It's strange though, because I cleared the cached and searched it through Google and didn't see it. Goodreads must have extra strength cookies.

Elizabeth is right on why you are not seeing. But, the options used to always be apparent; goodreads recently buried the menus under a barely visible grayed out downward arrow. No real explanation given.

This is not a Librarians Group issue, but one for the Author Feedback Group, or you may wish to use the Contact Us link on the Help page. Librarians can help with issues pertaining to specific book records or most related issues, but have no control over general site functionality or author issues outside of fixing book or author listings on Goodreads itself.
