Argent bit her lip and looked at him. She squeezed his hand and closed her eyes. She opened them and tried to stay awake. She looked around and hissed in pain as the doctor began working on her. She winced and shut her eyes tightly.

Jonathan opened his eyes, he was sitting on a chair, he'd been here for hours. She had passed out in the end, and after the surgery he'd been sitting, holding her hands for hours, with her on a bed and him on a half broken chair. He looked to her, she wasn't awake yet. Come on... Please... He thought to himself, although wanting her to sleep so she could rest more.

Argent slowly began to wake up. She blinked a few times and groaned a bit, rubbing her eyes. She looked around and sat up, wincing in pain. She looked over at Jonathan and tilted her head. "What happened?" She asked softly, biting her lip slightly. She winced and looked down at where she was stabbed, gently touching the wound. She hissed and looked at him worriedly.

"Stay lying down." He said to her quickly, making her lie back down and moving his chair closer to her. "You're awake... Good... That's always a good sign." He said, moving over to her again. "You were hurt. The doctor patched you up the best he could. You've been out for a while." He said, motioning to the plates of food that had long gone cold.

Argent nodded slowly and laid back. She frowned a bit and looked up at him. "I'm sorry." She whispered. "I didnt mean to make you worry." She whispered. She rubbed her face as her stomach growled, making her blush slightly in embarrassment. She looked up at him. "Is there a way I can get warm food?" She asked softly.

"I always worry about you, you're never going back there." He told her, holding her hand still. He looked down at her stomach and laughed. "Rumbly?" He laughed as he stood up. "Sure, I'll get someone to cook you something." He said, stepping out of the tent and coming back five minutes later with a plateful of food. "Nothing much, post apocalypse bread and vegetable soup.

Argent nodded and smiled a bit at him, squeezing his hand gently. She sat up slowly and shrugged. "I'll take it. It's better than nothing." She whispered. She ate slowly and relaxed a bit. "How are you gonna explain me to your group?" She whispered, not wanting anyone to hear them. She took another bite of her food and smiled a bit at how warm it was.

Jonathan smiled down at her slightly, appearing a little exhausted, it was clear he’d been awake waiting for her for a while. He shrugged at her question, looking at the food almost enviously. “They’re more open here, or at least I think they shall be, but it’s best they don’t know who you are because they may use you against him. But if someone recognises you…” He trailed off

Argent bit her lip and looked down. She offered him some of her food and tilted her head. She hugged herself tightly and smiled lightly. "You can have the rest." She whispered. She looked at him worriedly and sighed. "If someone notices me, they may kick me out." She mumbled.

Jonathan shook his head when she offered him the food. “No, you eat it all, you need the energy. And if they find out who you are they wont kick you out, if anything they will want you here, we’d have something that your dad wants, and that might make him back off for a little while atleast.” he explained to her, sighing towards the end before yawning.

Argent shrugged and curled up on the bed. She moved over and patted the spot next to her, smiling lightly. "Join me." She whispered softly.

Jonathan smiled down at her, before sitting next to her and swinging his legs across so he was lying on the bed next to her. "Joining." he told her, a smile on his face as he did.

Argent smiled and laid her head on his chest. She curled up close to him and buried her face into his chest. "I'm still sore." She whispered, smirking up at him.

"What do you expect me to do about that?" He asked, smirking back down at her. "I think I've done all that I can." He said, a warm smile on his face as he did. "Unless you can think of something else?"

She shrugged and closed her eyes, yawning softly. "Not sure.." She whispered. She yawned again and curled up close to him, wincing slightly from the wound. She opened her eyes and looked up at him, smiling lightly.

"Well I don't think I can do anything about it, I'm just too damn good, I should probably be banned." He laughed, smiling back down at her, his hand messing up her hair to annoy her. "Almost definitely should be banned."

She smiled a bit and rolled her eyes tiredly when he messed up her hair. "Yea...maybe.." She whispered. She buried her face into his chest and sighed softly. She yawned again and slowly dozed off.

Jonathan lay there with her, eyes wide open and thoughts running by through his mind. He closed his eyes and began to slowly fall asleep, his arms placed around her as they lay on the bed.

Jonathan opened his eyes to find her next to him. He slid off the bed unnoticed and got up to stand, before walking over to the entrance and walking out of it, looking around him everywhere as he did.

Argent mumbled a bit when he left. She curled up in a ball, hugging herself tightly. She bit her lip hard and slowly woke up herself.

Jonathan turned back and walked into the tent, not noticing that she is awake he walked on to the other side and took his shirt off, inspecting himself. He sighed as he reached down into a basin full of water and splashed it over his face.

Argent smirked a bit and watched him. She got up silently and walked over to him. She hugged him from behind and smirked. "Whatcha doing?" She asked softly.

"Oh nothing." He told her. "Just washing my face." He told her as he turned around and looked at her with a smile, hugging her back. "You better?" He asked.

Argent shrugged. "I'm still a little sore of course, but I'm alive." She said softly. She laid her head on his chest and smiled lightly.

"I'll show you around then." He said as he took her hand, and began leading her out of it, to a large open area with tents lying around, although it was rather dark and empty with just a fire pit in the middle. "Not much to see." He told her. "What do you want to see first?" He asked

Jonathan led her to an extremely large tent on the opposite side of the camp, and opening it. "Most of us live in these tents. We fit about four people into each one, each has their own compartment." He explained, leading her through to a small compartment on the other side. "This is mine." He said, opening it.

Argent smiled a bit and rolled her eyes. "I'll think about it." She said. SHe smiled a bit at him and hugged him tighter, closing her eyes.
