The Reason I Jump by Naoki Higashida

Really looking forward to reading this book. It's about a young Japanese boy with Autism. There have been some positive & some negative reviews, but I'm still willing to give it a go.
I think the cover is quite lovely as well.

I never thought I'd be interested in this kind of books, but after reading the summary, I just had to click on "Want to read" ;)
How did you find it?

It was ok, a very quick read. A good insight into his autism - but he can't speak for all people who have autism. It won't take you long to read!

Have you ever read The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time? It is also a story told from the perspective of an autist, it is very touching and funny at the same time.

Yes that one is on my TBR list!! I heard it was made into a play & the lead actor won a Tony for it.

[Sophie]

I've never heard of the play, but I strongly advise you to read it soon, it is amazing!
