Carol Tietsworth | 203 comments I have been reading most of my life and incorrect tenses, grammar and spelling have always given me pause. I used to correct my friend’s (?) letters and send them back, long before I became a trained proofreader. I am also an experienced copy-editor with lots of different genres to my credit.
I am fast and meticulous, and will read your novel, manuscript, thesis or what-have-you, straighten out the rough edges and pare off the unneeded. I keep my fees low, to help more people. Send me the first 500 words as a sample, so I can show you what I can do.
I currently charge .003/word for proofreading alone, and .005/word for proofreading and copy-editing. Contact me at legal2b@yahoo.com.

Lose a few friends?

Apologies for the snarkiness :-)

Intelligibility is one thing, but grammar and spelling are not laws. It's all about agreements between people so we all know what we're talking about...
