Lacey smiled at Maxwell "I just got Lydia's recipes for the catering and the Chinese lanterns have arrived...but more important the Royal wedding of my brother is today!"

Maxwell smiled brightly, shaking his head. "Man! Already today! Wow… I suppose I have to get my tux out to go to that." he said, smiling. "You excited to see him? Or nervous? Or both?"

Lacey bit her lip and shrugged "I don't know it's so soon! It's crazy! And he'll be Royal and what if he forgets about me?"

Maxwell hugged her against him and shook his head. "You guys have been siblings for years. Why would he forget you?" He said seriously. "He loves you, and he's probably worried about the same thing." he promised.

Lacey smiled lightly and nuzzled him "it'll be our turn soon enough...can you believe it? The certainly were right about Cupid...I hope the baby is doing ok...I hate not knowing everything..."

Maxwell smiled softly at that thought. "I can't really believe that, actually…" He said honestly. "It's too amazing to be true." he kissed her. "We'll check up on the baby right after the wedding." He promised.

Lacey smiled caressing his cheek "I think Illiana may have forgiven me...after all j did for their wedding and wedding night...lets just say it was awful having the room next to theirs...awful."

Maxwell nodded in agreement. "I think she did." He said. Then he laughed, shaking his head. "Oh, my poor love." he said, kissing her cheek. "That will be us, you know. And then Illiana will complain." He smiled softly. "But I am glad those two enjoyed their night. I know they both weren't exactly… wanting kids or anything." He said, smirking.

Lacey shook her head and smiled cupping his face "doesn't mean you can't enjoy it...I have to get to the palace early, Lydia has made me a brides maid and I need to help James get through it..he was never one for commitment."

Maxwell nodded, "Of course you can enjoy it." he agreed. Then he nodded, smiling softly. "Good luck with that. Poor boy." he joked, shaking his head. "Make sure he's not drinking. Don't need him dizzy walking down the isle. And make sure he's not hyperventilating too."

Lacey nodded and ran quickly to the carriage and getting to the palace, she went to the stables and smiled "your princess isn't going to want you smelling like horse feces Jamison."

"I'll shower." James said dismissively as he gave his stallion a final pat and walked over to Lacey and hugged her, smiling. "How's my favourite little sister?"

Lacey smiled "you don't have time to? The wedding is in an hour brother...I'm good, getting ready for my own wedding..." She couldn't tell him about the baby, he wouldn't approve.

James sighed, raking a hand through his hair. "Yeah… an hour." An hour left of being an independent, responsibility free man. Only an hour. Then he smiled for her sake. "I can't wait to see your dress." He said honestly. "And I'm very happy for you."

Lacey cupped his face and smiled "stop...you love Lydia, you love that little baby...no freedom or independance is worth losing the love of your life ok?" She pat his shoulders "you ready to get to the alter?..."

James nodded slowly, reviewing that in his head. His love. His baby. He wanted to stay. This wasn't a situation he couldn't back out of. This was a situation he didn't want to back out of. James smiled, kissing her cheek. "thanks, Lacey." Then he huffed. "No way! What if I'm one of those people who throw up or faint?"

Lacey smiled "that probably will happen to your pregnant wife...just breathe and smile and remember you'll be on your private honeymoon soon where you can rest and take care of your wife...and child...ok?"

James nodded, heaving a sigh. "I hope she makes it through the wedding. I feel bad for her, having a mother that makes such a big spectacle of the wedding! Then again… she will be queen so I suppose it is necessary." He shrugged. "I just can't wait for the whole thing to be over so I can relax." he admitted.

Lacey smiled snd helped him to the alter made sure he had the rings and kissed his cheek "you'll be fine...love you James...I can't believe you are going to be king...l

James was paler than he normally was, and his hands had a slight tremor, both from nervousness and excitement. His eyes were trained on the doors at the end of the chapel, and he slid on his gloves, taking the rings. "Thank you Lacey… I love you." He said, hugging her quickly. "Visit often, ok?"

The priest nodded then. "By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you man and wife. You may kiss the bride." James smiled at her then, stepping up and kissing her passionately while the crowd clapped and cheered. "We're done." He whispered in her ear.

Lacey waited impatiently while Illiana was with the doctor, it was the day they found out if the pregnancy stuck. She bounced and paced burying her face in Maxwell's chest "I can't stay out here!"

Maxwell watched as Lacey paced, and he was biting his lip as well. He hugged her gently, just as nervous, but wanting to help her. "She'll be out soon." He whispered.
Sure enough, Illiana came out seconds later and looked rather nervous. "I'm pregnant." She said softly.

Lacey gasped and hugged her tightky, she couldn't be more happy and glad that it took because she promised Illiana she'd only have to try once. "Thank you Illi...oh my gosh...I'm going to cry..."
