McKensie and Lara III

James smiled, kissing her cheek. "You don't have to do that! I'd offer to cook for you, but I have no idea how." he admitted, shaking his head. "Are you sure you want to be cooking for us?" He asked, not wanting to tire her out.

Lydia smiled "it's our special night baby, I love cooking and I love you therefore I'm happier then I could be." She said honestly and nuzzled him lovingly "I love you..."

James smiled softly, happy to have a girl that loved him so much. "Alright. Well in that case… can I say that we have crepes for dessert? And you can pick the supper?" He suggested, hopeful. He wrapped an arm around her shoulders. "I love you too."

Lydia smiled at him "spinach puffs and crepes for desert sounds perfect, and it's the same dough! Alright you wait here my handsome guy!"

James grinned, his stomach growling on cue. "Oh my. I don't know how long I'm going to be able to wait…" He said, sitting at their table and folding his hands as he waiting for her to finish up the meal. He could only feel lucky that his love was the best cook this side of… well. anywhere!

Lydia smiled and cooked it up as she presented to him "careful it's hot baby..." She smiled and sat by him taking off her apron and smiling "baby...don't worry...if it burns you I'll kiss you better."

James sat straight in his chair when she entered and he clasped his hands in front of him, trying to be very official looking as he took a towel and wrapped it around his hand as he pulled the lid off. Beautiful smelling steam immediately hit him and he grinned. "Looks lovely, baby. Let's eat!" He put the lid to the side and started cutting portions for them. He smirked. "Can you kiss me better even if I don't burn myself?" he asked hopefully. "I already have burns all over my face."

Lydia smiled "yeah but I don't suck your burns on your face, I want to suck your tongue burns though..." She looked up to see her mother "food mother? I thought you would be with your parliament man..."

James chuckled, nodding. He quieted when the queen walked in, and pretending to busy himself with eating.
The queen smiled a soft smile. "I came to congratulate you on a wonderful proclamation." She said, patting her daughter's hand. "I'll pass on the food though."

Lydia smiled at her mother "thank you, but please have some...unless your gentleman caller would like food? I made pleanty of extras...and there is chocolate and hazelnut mixture in the crepes."

The queen laughed softly and shook her head. "No that's quite alright. You both enjoy what looks like a lovely dinner." Her smile widened a little. "My 'gentleman' and I have a supper already laid out for us." she promised.

Lydia smiled "well enjoy, and thank you..." She said kissing her cheek and waving her away. She smiled at James "alone again my handsome prince...now make a list of what and who you want at the wedding darling."

James smiled at her, taking a bite of the spinach puffs. They seemed to melt in his mouth and he grinned. "You really have a gift my dear." He complimented. Then he thought. "Well. I need my whole family to come, including Marcoux. They'll want to be invited. And I have a few friends from my school days I should probably invite…"

Lydia smiled and nodded "some of the help are my dearest friends and they should come...course Illiana would be Marcoyx's plus one...so really just a couple of cooks...whoever you want, there will be plenty of room...plus while exiting the chapel the kingdom will see us off to our honeymoon destination.

James nodded in agreement. "That sounds good." He said, taking another bite of the puffs. "I think all those people, plus all the other royals and officials is going to be a pretty big wedding as it is. We should get started on invitations soon." he suggested. "And where will we be having out honeymoon?"

Lydia nodded in agreement "of course...the servants have addressed most of the ones mother invited so all that is left is our loved ones...and then mother wants me to have a bridal shower and of course Illiana and Lacey are invited to that."

James nodded, running over all that in his head. "Great. We could spend an hour or so tomorrow making up the rest of the invitations." he suggested, finishing off his spinach puffs and starting on the crepes. "A bridal shower should be good fun for you and your girls." he agreed. "Do you have any ideas for that?"

Lydia shook her head "Enma is in charge, she insisted upon it and it has to be a surprise from me. Are you going to have a man night I assume? Better be no ladies involved..." She warned not liking to think about those sleazy clubs and her love.

James chuckled. "Well I'm sure that will be quite the nice surprise for you." he assured, squeezing her hand. Then he smiled sheepishly. "I don't know what will be involved with the bachelor party either." he admitted, "Marcoux, my best man, is planning it." he didn't mention, that a bachelor party, in the traditional sense, was supposed to be a 'last night of freedom'.

Lydia sighed "I know how bachelor parties can be...I just want you to be just mine...im sorry im hormonal because of the baby..." She started to cry "it's not fair im fat with child and that women will be tiny and beautiful and not Royal!"

James's face immediately creased with worry and guilt, and he hadn't even been to the party yet. "Lydia…" he breathed, gathering her into his arms. "I am just yours, and you are just mine. Do you really think Marcoux would be one to plan a party like that? If I were to guess, we'll probably go camping, or hunting, or fishing. All of which would be great fun, and I'll still be just yours." He promised, running his fingers gently through her hair. "You aren't fat, Lydia. You're hardly even showing, and even when you do, you'll still be the most beautiful thing in the world to me."

Lydia cutled up in his arms and let the tears go as she curled her fingers around his shirt "it's the baby, I promise I'm not this crazy...oh gosh I am...I'm the crazy pregnant Princess of Great Britain..."

Iliana smiled softly, wondering about that. "well…" she started, "I've always dreamed of having a wedding on the chalk cliffs." She admitted. "They're so beautiful…"
James just rubbed her back and held her. "I don't blame you for being this way. I don't mind it either. I think it's cute." He promised. "Wether its the hormones or you, or both, I love you, ok? Don't ever forget that."

Lydia smiled and kissed him deeply "I love you...thank you for loving me...and our little angel." She placed his hand on her stomach "we're going to get married..."

James smiled, kissing her back, his hand resting on her stomach. "We'll be married and have a family." he whispered, kissing her cheek. "And we'll make all the people of the kingdom both love and be jealous of us." he whispered, smiling.

Lydia smiled gently and nodded "oh of course! We will be the perfect Royal family...i want to break the customs, I want you to be there when I deliver...though no man Is ever allowed I can't do it without you."

James raised an eyebrow. Break the customs? Now that would cause gossip for forever! What would her mother think? What would his mother think? he shook his head. "are you sure? I'd love to be there… but that might make a few people pretty mad."

Lydia sighed "no...I can't do it, I already am the rebel royality! Will you be ok waiting though?...I know you get anxious..."

James nodded, figuring that was the case. He hugged her gently, kissing her hair. "I think I'll be alright." he promised. He smiled then. "Hopefully…"

Lydia sighed holding him to her "I'm just scared...and I don't know if that's even allowed to be scared, I should be excited and slightly ashamed of having this baby but I'm just...really scared James..."

James hugged her against him, rubbing her back comfortingly. "That's totally ok and allowed." He promised. "It's normal to be scared. This is pretty big. Heck. I'm scared!"

Lydia sighed "I wish I could just...have taken this one step at a time. The wedding and then the baby and not crazy hormones that all I want to do is cook and have sex and eat food off of you."

James nodded in understanding. "It is a lot to happen all at once." he admitted, running a hand through his hair. A mischievous smile lit up his face at her last comment. "These hormones aren't all bad, Lydia… you know I'd be more than happy to do that." He said, winking.

Marcoux saw Maxwell and smiled "want to walk my new kits with me? The girls need wedding talk and I need something to do with my life."
Lydia hit him lightly and smiled "you are awful my love! I think you'd get tired of my...pregnant body if we keep getting undressed."

Maxwell saw the fox kits and his eyes widened. "My gosh Marcoux, you really are an animal lover! Those things are adorable." He promised, taking Mila's leash as they walked out onto the grounds together. "Wedding talk?" he repeated. "So you proposed?"
James laughed easily then. "Tired? Of your body? Never." he said, kissing her deeply before he smiled again. "I love you, no matter your size." He promised. "And my love for the baby in your stomach makes double the love." he teased.

Marcoux nodded and smiled "we saved their lives...they are sweet and really well behaved, oh I'm going to live in the old mansion and you are taking the Wendell mansion to be with Lacey...I don't think the foxes would be welcome."
Lydia smiled "aw I am marrying the sweetest guy on earth, now come it's time for bed and I need to throw up again." She moaned leaning on him

Maxwell smiled softly, glancing down at the small thing as they walked around the yard. "They are behaving quite well for wild foxes." He agreed. Then he thought for a moment. "Well… I'd be alright with that. I think Lacey would too. She grew up here after all." He agreed, smiling.
James smiled softly, getting up with her and supporting her to the bathroom. "Come on." He said gently, holding her as she threw up. He helped her get cleaned up and flushed the toilet for her, before helping her into bed. "Let's get you tucked in." He said, bundling her up in blankets. "Comfy?"

Marcoux smiled "perfect, this will be good. I'm taking the dogs with me too...Illiana wants all the animals, no kids...so after you...kicked us out of the room do you think Lacey is...you know?"
Lydia smiled and nodded snuggling up on his chest and holding around his waist and kissed his chest "love you...thank you, tomorrkw im going to try on wedding gowns..."

Maxwell chuckled, raising his hands in surrender. "Alright! You get the dogs." He agreed, smiling softly. He didn't mind that his friend loved animals so much. In fact, he thought it was cool. "About Lacey… well. I don't know. It's a possibility, but I mean… I don't even know if it was the optimum time for her to conceive." he shrugged.
James nodded, tucking his head on top of hers as he got comfortable, holding her in his arms. "That sounds like fun." he said softly, just playing with her hair. "Do they already have options for you?"

Marcoux chuckled gently "and I don't think she is going to want another doctor appointment for...ever. So maybe you'll find out in 9 months?" He picked up Shiloh who was sniffing around "don't get into trouble little boy."
Lydia smiled and nodded "half a dozen...but I don't know they have to add an extra panel to hide the baby belly...so I may burst into tears or strangle someone."

Maxwell nodded, raking a hand through his hair. "At least the wedding is coming up. That way her parents won't murder me if she is pregnant." he said, smiling a little. "So… you and Iliana are getting married. Are you excited?"
James raised an eyebrow. "Burst into tears or strangle someone because you have to try on dresses? Because you are pregnant? Or because they have to modify the dresses?" he asked, trying to properly understand her.

Marcoux smiled and nodded "I couldn't be happier...really, like she just completes me you know that...and she helps me with my attacks. She's just wonderful and I love her so much."
Lydia sighed patiently "thank you for trying to understand, because I'm fat and they have to add fabric to a gorgeous dress because I'm fat!"

Maxwell chuckled, clapping him on the back. "I'm glad you found your girl." he said seriously. "And that she makes you happy. I really couldn't be more happy for you." he nodded down at a now sleeping Mila. "I suppose we should get these two back inside?" He suggested.
James shook his head then. "Not fat. Pregnant." He corrected. "And like I said, you're more beautiful because of it. Or at least I think so." he promised, kissing her. "I'm sure the seamstresses are skilled enough to make the dress look exactly the same, even with modifications." He assured.

Marcoux nodded and smiled "same to you...I'm glad I don't have an elaborate wedding to stess about. We are going to the chalk cliffs to have our ceremony."
Lydia sighed "you truly love me, or else I would have driven you insane by now love...thank you, I' promise I'll be in a better mood tomorrow, it's just today was so...stressful."

Maxwell smiled then. "Good choice of place." He nodded slowly, as if in thought, and then frowned. "No wedding to stress about? Are you not inviting anyone?" he inquired, curious.
James smiled softly, kissing her lips. "That's what I'm here for baby." he whispered gently. "Now let's get some rest. I want us both to have more than enough energy for the coming days." he said seriously, closing his own eyes.

Marcoux shrugged "just the two of us...we don't like stressing and we like to be private together...the foxes will be the ring bearers though. Then we'll move together..."

Maxwell nodded in understanding. "Well that certainly will be sweet, and very romantic as the women say." he winked. "The foxes will be cute too. A little strange, but very cute. And highly appropriate." he assured, smiling.

Marcoux chuckled "we are really weird but I think that's what makes us work, you and Lacey are normal and will be the notified couple in the social circles, we will be the rumor mill couple."
Lydia smiled "good answer love...you ready for dinner? It's just going to be you and me in our special table...whatever you want I'll make ok?"
