I really hated the thought of reading a book with all bad reviews. Why would I want to waste my time and money?? So I have chosen The 5th Wave because while it has mostly really good reviews there are quite a few really really bad reviews as well.

This book is amazing!! I love it so much!! OMG, i really loved this book. Cassie is such a great main character! :)
Hope you enjoy it!! :)
I'll be joining you for this week! I've already read the 5th Wave, but feel I didn't give it much of a chance. Recently saw the sequel in the book store and it looked so cool. Need to re-read this :)
I'm reading this book for a book set in my hometown, since the beginning is set around south-west ohio. I hope I like it.
Finished 5th Wave today. So very happy I gave this another go-around. Very much enjoyed this more than I did the first time. Either I just wasn't feeling the genre the first time round OR this is just one of the books where you pick up more on re-read. Just requested the second from the library today :)
I just finished this one today and I really enjoyed it! I agree Luisa, Cassie is a really great main character. (view spoiler) I am trying to decide if I want to go ahead and read the second book or wait a little while since the third one doesn't come out til May. :(
I absolutely loved this book. I read it for my "book that scares you" and thought it was just fantastic and creepy and very suspenseful. The idea of not knowing friend from enemy sent chills up my spine. I also really liked Cassie as a main character. I do like her a lot less in the second book though. It is also very good, if you get around to reading it, but for very different reasons. I thought writing it from different POVS (Cassie and Ben) was clever and gave the reader unique views of the same story.
Definitely one of the best books I have read, so far, in 2015.
