Raine frowned as she gently pulled her arm out of Zach's hand. He woke up slightly but went right back to sleep after Raine touched his head softly. "Nate stop. We can have them go out with someone from now on.. You can blame yourself for your fathers awful ways... You have no control over him." She whispered touching his face and then making him look up at her

Raine's eyes widened as he yelled," fine blame yourself." She replied," I see them you think I can't see them. Zach flinches every few seconds while he is sleeping and he blames himself for not thinking faster when your dad talked to him the first time.. Listen to him because he talks in his sleep and you can hear the pain in his voice." She told him," if this is how everything is going to be what's going to happen when this one decides to show up?" She asked pointing to her stomach. "What are we going to do then?"
Raine looked at him as he left an then sunk into the bed looking at Arielle and resting her hand on her slightly rounded stomach. She jumped a little as Zach hugged her with his one good arm. He didn't have cuts on his face and on the arm that was broken. She hugged her adopted son gently not saying anything just crying softly together
Zach was still in his soft cast and had his arm still tucked against his chest in a sling after the doctors found out his shoulder had been dislocated along with his arm being broken. He stopped along with his parents. He didn't sleep much either bit that was because it was hard for him to sleep laying down because of his arm. Raine would only sleep fitfully as eat only because she was pregnant or she would look just like her son and husband. She ran into the room with Nate and stopped seeing Arielle awake." Baby." She whispered tearing up
Raine walked over to the bed with Nate and frowned seeing that Arielle could only move her one arm. "Is it just her arm?"She asked reaching to touch Arielle's head just to assure herself that she wasn't dreaming.
Zach stood off to the side and watched them together. He smiled a little as he stood away from them
Zach moved closer to Arielle and smiled at her," you are kind if like me." He said pointing to his own arm which he couldn't move at the moment. He smiled a little bit more at her. "It's going to he alright." Raine frowned a little bit not sure how she could explain why her arm didn't move anymore.
Zach winced slightly as Arielle cuddled against his chest. " Ari we will help you." He said softly leaning his head closer to hers even though having her all snuggled against him was a little painful. Raine smiled softly seeing Zach and Ari together again. "Baby everything will be fine." She said softly tearing up a little as she spoke
Raine nodded a little bit as she kissed him back softly." Okay." Zach smiled a little bit as Nate left. "We will figure something out Ari.. And you can still hug Patches just like I can hug you." He answered wrapping his good arm around Ari tightly.
Raine smiled," yes what your brother said." She answered getting up and gettin their stuff together
Zach looked at Ari and then at Nate." Yeah I think I can." He answered putting her down and then getting up then holding his good arm out to her," I'll figure it out dad."
Zach had to quickly figure out how to hold his weak little sister in one arm while he walked out the car with her. He looked at her as she started to panic and he groaned softly in pain as she started squirming around in his arm," Ari." He said softly," please stop moving you are hurting me." Raine frowned and moved to take Arielle from Zach but he just shook his head a little. Even he was nervous in and around a car now especially when he saw one that looked like Nate's father's car
Zach looked at his little sister and put her down for a bit but kept his arm around her," Arielle." He said kneeling in front of her, "it's going to be fine daddy is a good driver and would never let anything what happened to us happen again." He told her soffy. "Come on you have to come with me because im scared too." He admitted Raine watched and listened to them as her eyes sparkled with tears
Zach sat next to her and gently took her other arm and placed it over the giraffe. He didn't know how else to help her or even what else to do Raine just stood off to the side trying to think of a way to help Arielle get over her fear of the car
Zach cringed slightly at Arielle's screaming and panicking. He looked over at Raine and then sighed softly moving a little closer to the middle of the seat instead of by the door. He frowned a little and tried to help Ari calm down. When they got home he nodded," yeah ill stay with her." He said getting out of the car along with Raine. Raine looked at Olivia." It's paralyzed."
She answered quietly watching them go upstairs with the little girl. She went and sat on the couch and put her face in her hands. She knew that being so upset and anxious and stressed was bad for her and the baby but she just couldn't help it
Zach shrugged with his good shoulder," It's fine just hurts more now because I was holding Ari and she threw a fit when she saw the car. " he said softly. He looked at her as they sat beside Ari in her be w
Zach smiled a little bit at Olivia as she walked around to take care of him. He shrugged a little again," I don't know Olivia... I don't know how to help her." He said softly looking at his little sister," that's what the doctor said bit maybe he is wrong."
Zach sighed softly and nodded a little," I know.... I don't know what to do to help and we can't keep her hidden here." He said softly then put his arm around her." Yeah I know I can get this thing off my arm."
Zach kissed her back gently and sighed a little bit," I know and mom can't do anything because dad is afraid something will happen to the baby... So I need you." He said softly feeling her fingers on his arm and smiling a little bit," I should have been on that side." He said softly," that man should have bit me."
Zach looked down at her and sighed softly," Im sorry Olivia but I can't help it right now. My baby sister is so upset all the time now and she get so frustrated it's hard to watch." He told her keepin his good arm around her and pressing his head into her shoulder," That maybe true but I can't play for the rest of this year and into next because of what that man did to us. "
Zach nodded a little bit and kissed her back softly before seeing that Arielle was awake," Hey you." He said softly with a small smile as she reached for him. He got up and carefully picked her up with his good arm. "Did you sleep alright Ari?" He asked softly rubbing his nose against her cheek
Zach smiled a little bit as he looked at her," I will have my other arm back soon." He said softly," and then I can help you do whatever you want.. We can go to the park and go swimming or watch dad play baseball and then I'll teach you how to play." He said smiling at her a little but his smile was sad as he followed after Olivia. "Maybe I'll even take you out on a brother sister date just you and me."
"Alright no cars for now." Zach answered then looked at Nate and nodded slightly. " yeah Olivia and I can take care of Arielle while you are gone." He answeredRaine smiled and kissed Ari's head," Be good for your brother sweetie and we will be back soon." She said smoothing the little girls blonde hair away from her face
Raine frowned as she watched Arielle throw her spoon across the room. Zach looked at his mom and then she went upstairs hearing Arielle crying," Ari?" She said softly walking into her room." Sweetie stop that hitting if wont make it better." She said scooping up her small and beloved daughter and hugging her tightly
Raine held her tightly and shook her head," I don't know why it won't work baby but maybe if you are patient and calm down.... Maybe the doctors are wrong and you will be able to move your arm again you just have to wait like Zach." She said almost in tears but she could cry not while Arielle was so upset Zach nodded looking towards the stairs as he heard Ari's wailing and screaming. He looked at Olivia and sighed," what are we going to do?"
Raine sighed softly as she held the still crying girl in her arms, "mommy and daddy and Zach and even Olivia will help you get used to everything. We can even get you something like what Zach has his arm in to keep it out of your way." She suggested softly to Arielle Zach sighed and hugged her back tightly and nodded," It's okay.. You can cry because I can't seem to right now." He said in a soft voice as he listened to his sister. "I don't understand why this happened to her."
Zach nodded slightly as he hugged Nate back and took Arielle from him." Okay ill do that." He said softly nodding at what he told him when they would put her down for the night. Raine walke over to them," See you later." She said softly kissing Arielle's head and then Zach's cheek," Be careful okay?" She told him softly. Zach nodded," I will Mama."
Raine nodded a little bit and sighed," I know it's going to be hard for all of us." She said softly as she got into the care touching her small stomach. ((Yeah we can do that... But what about the other baby? Are we going to keep it around or maybe all of the stress and stuff could cause Raine to miscarry?))
((Yeah okay so would we still want to skip that much? It would be like six years I think?)
:) Zach sat in the car waiting to pick up Arielle from school he had spent the last six years of his life living with the James' and helping take care of Arielle. He had managed to take classes in a college he wanted and play baseball all while helping with Arielle since Raine wasn't doing as well as she let everyone on tv and in the news think. After the accident that had caused Arielle to loose the feeling in her arm Raine had lost the baby she had been carrying and it almost completely destroyed her. Zach pulled up the the front of the line." How was school Ari?" He asked as she got into his car
Zach frowned seeing her face and hearing her voice. He pulled up a little bit but then stopped and turned to look at her," I know you're lying to me Ari." He said softly," I'll take you out to the little cafe and we can talk or you can tell me why you are so upset now." He offered still watching her. Zach glanced out the window and sighed softly as he saw all of the kids playing
Zach's frowned deepened as he got out of the car and went to her side. " awe Ari." He said softly hugging her a little bit," I'll go talk to your teachers.. They didn't do anything when they saw what they were doing to you?"He asked getting angry. Everyone knew not to mess with Zach's family. He was very protective of them especially Arielle.
He frowned and helped her back into her cardigan. " this is ridiculous. This is supposed to be one of the top schools here and you are getting picked on not only by the students but the teachers too?" He asked softly hugging her tightly. He unbuckled her and lifted her up," I'll have dad write you a new note as soon as I talk some sense into this stupid principle." He said softly closing the door and grabbing his keys from the front seat
Zach hugged her close and was trying not to be as angry as he was. "I will try not to." He said added taking a deep breath and setting her down. " a new note that says what?" He asked," that she just can't do pe because she has no function in her arm... She's ten.. I thought this school was good.. Maybe you should start talking with the parents of those kid you bully her.." He said lowly in a calm voice even though he wanted to be yelling at the guy who didn't seem to care about what was happening to Arielle
Zach sighed," this is awful. She can't fit in if all those kids are going to do is make fun of her. It's not her fault that her arm doesn't work or that the left side of her body is not working the best it's mine. I should have been the one in the way of that truck not her." He said," we are only trying to keep her safe."
Zach sighed a little bit and nodded knowing there was no use to him fighting now."'yeah okay I'll talk to my dad." He answered getting up. Now most people would think that he wasn't mad or upset anymore but he knew that Arielle knew him well enough by now that he was still pretty mad at everyone who had hurt his baby sister. He scooped her up," Let's clean your arm up them go home." He said tightly
Zach frowned and hugged her tightly," I don't know Arielle... It's just because you are different than they are and they don't know how to act around you" he answered holdin her," I know you don't like going to school anymore but you have to go until dad and I can figure out a way to help you."
(You are totally fine. Have fun :) Zach sighed softly as he gently washed her arm off. "I know you think that everyone doesn't like you but I'm sure there is one person that sants to be your friend but you have to let him or her in just like you let me." He said softly. "That little girl across the street likes you and so does Max and Kayla's son Gavin. He's never made fun of you." Zach told her softly
"Dad doesn't make Gavin like you." He said softly picking her up just because he didn't want her too far from him. He sighed hating to see Arielle crying. "Ohh dont cry Ari." Zach asked softly hugging her close," You have to go back to school baby.." He stated softly," just until daddy and I figure something out to help you okay?" He asked as he set her back into his car and buckled her in," we can go see Olivia she likes you for who you are and doesn't make fun of you."
Zach watched Arielle start crying on her way up to her room. He sighed softly and kissed Olivia gently just standing next to her shakin his head." She comes home crying or upset more days than she should." He said softly. "They should be doing something to stop the bullying instead they tell Ari to do something about it." Raine looked at Zach for a second and then at Nate before going up the stairs and to Arielle's room," Ari honey?" She called softly
Zach sighed softly and rested his head on her shoulder just shaking his head," I don't think that would work either." He muttered hugging her close to him. He closed his eyes a little bit feeling her hands on his shoulders," Livi... How is she going to deal with all of this?" He asked Raine frowned," but honey I want to help you... Let me help you please?" She asked gently trying to get the door open
Zach nodded a little bit and just hugged her had he heard Arielle's yelling where they were standing," I'll talk to mom about it maybe it would help mom too.. She wants to have another baby really bad." He said softly,"Maybe helping Ari this way will help her."
Raine frowned hearing Ari and then reached for the key," baby... Stop."'she said running over once she go the door open," I wish with everything I have that I would give you something to make your arm work."
She said hugging her
Zach nodded," I know." He answered kissing her softly and then frowning a little bit as she said what she was doing that night even as she kissed him." Olivia I...... Where are you going?" He asked not wanting her out of his sight after all of those kids hurt Arielle so much," does it have to be tonight?" He asked looking at her bit not able to stop himself from kissing her back Raine gasped a little bit," Im so sorry baby... Do you want to just stay home from school for a few days?" She asked softly looking down at her precious little girl
Zach sighed a little bit. Even though he was probably every bit as protective as Nate was he was a little more willing to let Olivia out of his protection. "Well alright if you really get into trouble call me... I'll have my phone in the dugout." He said kissing her head softly Raine held Arielle close," oh my sweet baby girl." She said softly stroking her hair and hugging her gently
Zach kissed her back and stared at what sh was wearing. "Is that all you are going to be wearing?" He asked with a soft frown," I love you too." He answered softly Raine looked over at Nate as she held her daughter close," She can't go back there,"
She said softly kissing the top of Ari's head
Zach looked at her an shook hai head," it's not that you don't look good it's that I want to he there with you to enjoy that dress." He answered. He sighed softly and nodded,"I know I know I just don't like the fact that there are a lot of drunk guys that will be all over you." He answered looking at her
Raine nodded," You hear that Ari.. Mommy and baby day whenever you want it." She said before kissing Nate back softly
Zach nodded a little bit," yeah but just be careful love?" He asked hugging her close as she moved to him. He rated his chin on her head and just sighed softly," I love you Olivia." Raine nodded and got up to tuck her into bed," Okay baby... Wake me if you need me."
Zach smiled as he kissed her again and then went to get into his own car and go to practice before he was late which was never go though he was the star catcher. He often had Olivia with him whenever he went out Raine watched them together with a small smile though it was a sad smile
Zach was finished with practice and talking to one of his friend that he sort of grew up with after Nate and Raine had adopted him. He checked his phone to see of he had anything from Olivia and to see the time. He frowned slightly not seeing a single message from her
