Raine laughed softly," I knew you would say yes to her," she said as they all got out of the car and went to see their new house. She looked around and smiled seeing that it was a lot bigger than their first house but now it seemed more homey since they had all of their stuff in it. She watched as Arielle ran off to find her room

"Arielle won't know what to do if someone tells her no." She said softly looking at Nate. She smiled a little bit as she followed him to their room. She looked around," it's beautiful." She sai softly
Raine laughed a little bit," an I'm sure she has that princess canopy bed she's been wanting for a while now." She answered hearing the small squeal from down the hall." Okay a big dog it is.. But not one of those big ones that drool a ton." She said looking up at him
"Okay ill go dress her." She answered with a smile. "It looks great princess come on and get dressed daddy is taking us to find a puppy." She said watching the little girl in her room
Raine sat on the floor in front of her and change the little girl into her dress," I know you will get a bed for your puppy don't worry about that." She answered,
Raine kind if just ignored te other women too watching as Arielle ran around looking at the different puppies they had. "Nate I think she found one." She called walking over to the cafe Arielle was staring into. "Do you want to play with this one for a little bit."
Raine watched as her daughter played with the puppy. She looked over at Nate and said." Just go talk to them I'm sure they wouldn't say no to you." She said softly having had seen them staring at her husband since they walked in
Raine smiled slightly as she kissed him back," okay." She answered softly," well you can deal with our unhappy daughter tomorrow." She answered laughing a little bit as she watched Arielle tumble around with the puppy.
Raine looked at them and nodded," Well then patches is coming home with us and he will sleep with you in your room." She answered scooping the little girl up as Nate got the dog. "You are really going to let her pick everything?"
Raine laughed softly and walked into the store after her daughter," you want Patches to have pink everything? Everyone will think he is a girl not a boy... Why don't we find some other colored things?" She asked," like maybe blue and green like your other favorite colors?"
"We can get him a pink bed like yours if you want." She said knowing it would make Arielle's day to have her puppy matching her bed. Raine smiled," okay do you want to pick out some treats and a name tag for him?" She asked looking down at the small girl
Raine let her keep the tag she got and then had it engraved with his name and Nate's phone number. She nodded," she did get lots.. And some of it is pink." She said
Raine smiled looking at the two sleeping side by side," well at least patches already loves her." She said softly as she followed him into their room," yeah we will be alright... Maybe I can have my dad or mom come over."
"Yeah I know and Arielle loves it when mom comes over."She answered softly and then kissed his cheek lightly," yeah okay." She answered snuggling close to himm
Raine smiled as her mom came in. It wasn't that she didn't want to spend time just her and Arielle but it just was a comfort to her to know that she had someone there to help or something most of the time Sarah didn't even do anything with them. She looked in on her daughter and smiled as she went down to make them breakfast
Raine let her mom in and then ran to the back door hearing it open and then Arielle's furious giggling. " Arielle Caitlyn get back over here." She called watching as she ran around the backyard getting pretty close to the pool as Raine rushed out to get her
Raine looked down at the small girl she had just picked up and then the puppy that was now sitting at her feet," Arielle you know daddy and mommy don't want you out here by yourself since you can't swim yet." She explained.
"I know baby but you have to remember." She said softly. It was very rare that Raine ever got really mad at Arielle most times it was just to get her attention when she needed to listen
"But good job for taking Patches out that was a very smart thing for you to do." She told her with a smile. " let get you both inside and have some breakfast?" She said
Sarah laughed softly," oh my goodness you have a puppy!" She said watching as Arielle ran in with Patches," you picked a very good name for him." Raine looked down at Arielle," Daddy is at practice and on Saturday we are going to watch him play baseball."
Raine nodded," Yeah but we won't be able to bring patches with us." She said looking at Arielle," But maybe if you ask grandma really nicely she will watch Patches for you while we are gone."
Sarah laughed softly and nodded," of course I will watch Patches for you." She answered as she watched Raine pick Arielle back up. Raine didn't mind holding Arielle even though she was almost four she was still pretty small
Raine looked down at her," what else do you say when you want something?" She asked walking into the kitchen. She didn't want to raise a rude little girl who demanded everything
Raine nodded," Good job." She answered kissing her head softly. "Okay can you sit right in the counter while mommy does the dishes?" She asked getting Arielle's milk and then looking at her
Raine looked over at her and sighed softly," Arielle I have to do the dishes or you won't have your plate for lunch." She said softly even though most times when she or Nate did that thing they did with their eyes she gave in
Raine closed her eyes slightly and sighed picking Arielle up," fine but you will have to use a different plate for lunch." She told the small girl that was now in her arms.
Raine laughed softly and kissed the top of her head," Silly girl.. You might want to go play with Patches he looks lonely." She said softly looking over at her mother as she came I to the kitchen
"Maybe you should go nap with him so mommy can get some things done.. Or you can sit with mommy while she finishes a few things up." She answered looking at the small girl. She was growing up too fast for Raine. But then Raine also wanted another baby sometime soon maybe
"Well I'm still right here silly girl." She answered waiting until she fell asleep before putting her down in her bed and moving Patches next to her
Raine looked over at him as she kissed him back softly," how long are we going to be there?" She asked looking up at him. Even though he had just gotten home she didn't really care though sometimes when he was really dirty she would run from him still much to the delight of their daughter. "Okay but you'll come with us one day right?" She asked with a smile as she looked up at him
"Alright as long as you try." She answered softly as she looked up at him," yeah she's sleeping for the moment." She replied quietly moving them away from her door a little. " hopefully she will be alright on a plane or are we driving?" She asked
Raine frowned a little bit," well this will be interesting.. What if we fly while she's sleeping?" She asked looking at him
"Well I can try we can always just bring her some movies to watch and the small DVD player."She suggested then kissed him back with a smile," mmmm... Okay."'she answered letting him lead her to the bathroom and gently slipped her hands under his shirt
Raine sighed softly leaning up against him for a second still breathing hard after their fun. She looked up at him and stretched up on her toes to kiss his cheek before she pulled away just slightly to wash her hair
Raine turned the water off and the dried off. She slipped into a shirt that she had taken from Nate and turned to look at him. "Yeah I know because how would we explain that to a three year old?" She asked laughing a little bit as he kissed her again. She slipped her arms around him," are you trying to grow a beard or something?" She asked
"Ohh yeah I did know that." She answered laughing a little bit. She followed him out with a soft smile about to walk over to bed and then heard the screaming and crying. She ran after him hoping that it was Patches in the pool and not Arielle
Raine stood just out of the house as she watched Nate jump into the pool and take Arielle out. Her heart had stopped the minute she saw it was Patches on the edge of the pool barking. She nodded and turned around to turn the fire on so help warm up Arielle and then grabbed a small mug to heat some milk in. She didn't want to think about what would have happened if she and Nate had waited a little longer in their shower or were still on the bathroom they wouldn't have heard Arielle's cries or Patches barking
Raine came and sat beside them picking Patches up and settling him in her lap as she gently held onto Arielle's foot as Nate held her tried to get her warm again. "Why were you outside?" She asked softly
Raine looked at Nate for a second," did you shut our bedroom door?" She asked thinking it was only the bathroom door that they shut. She looked back at Arielle," We are sorry for not answering the door but next time wait for us or just let Patches out the door but you stay in the house."
Raine sighed softly and nodded," I know but we can't have you going outside when mommy and daddy can't be out there with you." She said softly leaning her head against Nate's shoulder as she looked at Arielle
Raine gently moved Patches off her lap and took Areille upstairs to get her into a warm bath and then change her for bed. She looked down at the small girl in her arms," I love you baby." She said softly
"I know baby mommy was scared too." She said softly knowing if she let herself start to cry Arielle would start too. " go to sleep Ari." She whispered hugging her close to her chest
"Yes I will stay right here until you are sleeping." She promised holding Arielle tightly and gently rocking her hoping she would sleep soon
Raine gently laid Arielle down in her bed and tucked her in. She walked out of the room and closed the door a little. She looked up at the sound of Nate's voice and walked over to him," oh Nate." She whispered resting her head on his chest
Raine nodded slightly as she put her arms around him," I know but I just can't get that out of my head." She said softly looking up at him with tears in her big brown eyes
Raine sighed softly and kissed him back gently," I know." She whispered and followed him into their room. She got into bed and nodded," Do you have tomorrow off?" She asked softly
"Okay then." She answered softly and still snuggled close to him. She sighed softly resting her hand against his chest as she slowly drifted off to sleep
Raine woke slowly as Nate kissed her awake. That was something that never changed with them. "I'll go." She answered getting up and running a hand thru her long brown hair as she walked out of their room and out to let Patches and Arielle out of the house for a little bit
Raine watched Arielle as she didn't go our to okay with Patches like she always did. She frowned a little as she ran into the kitchen to Nate. "Arielle Patches is waiting to play with you."
